Your doing God's work. Pat sent this to my friend Dale 20 years ago and I had it on limewire as nameless tracks for my whole ipod career. It's still on a ipod nano with a cracked screen somewhere in storage. Thanks

@@kezisthename Just 3 songs missing (as far as I know) and there's debate over if they were ever even recorded or were just unused lyrics/poems, some of them were probably reworked into later songs as some lines from those songs show up
It gives me so much pleasure hearing a 15 to 17-year-old kid sing these songs.

Holy fuck I thought I just dreamt this album, I remember downloading this album of a sketchy torrent of his discography at the time back in like 2012 to throw on my 2nd generation ipod and never heard this since I lost that ipod when I was first homeless

I once saw an interview with the man who produced Love Songs for the Apocalypse, where he said that they did a first take that was cleaner, more produced, and they didnt like it that much. Then they redid it and it became Love Songs. I wonder if this is that original, overly clean take?
According to Discogs, this came out a few years before Love Songs. But you know those studio snippets on Caught in the Act of Not Being Awesome? I think those are the originals. Just a hunch.

Much more like early rancid and early offspring it's much more like classic punk then the folk punk that became what Johnny hobo and the freight trains became known for i like the real drums and it sounds like two guitars it's got a lot of effort put into it that doesn't really seem was in latter works but that was the point of folk punk I don't think pat really made music that sounds remotely like this until ramshackle glory it's good I really think it's cool we have this insight into the early hobos 7 out of ten it's just missing trumpet lol
