It’s not aggressive driving at all. It’s extremely hectic but it’s polite people beep horn to notify you that they are there. Road Rage is almost unheard of.
Gorgeous place. We rented an Air Bnb for a month about a 10 minutes walk from here. We visited on a foggy, eerie looking day and absolutely loved it. Brilliant scenery and the terraces are dramatic in terms of natural beauty and grade too. Super steep. Excellent video guys. Keep them coming.
@@prabuddhasrimal6954 Hey calm Sri Lankans, why do you say Bali is poor attractions ???? you better promote your country than insult other places, and you know, Bali is not a country, Bali is an island!!
Many thanks for this wonderful introduction to Ubud! Absolutely great that you guys pay respect to the local culture and custom unlike many who do not.
Have gotten hooked on your videos. Such awesome, fun commentary and production. Caught you, though, reversing at 6:44 to get the pull back instead of the push-in. It’s just my old producer’s eye having some fun.
Its so nice couple you are ! Thanks a lots for information you posted on about Bali .. I am going there 2 weeks for vacation on Novemver ! All things you recomment i will try to visit .. Nusa Penida is a paradise on earth ! Happy day for both of you !
I watched many videos to prepare for my trip to Southeast Asia. Yours were the most helpful and the most respectful of the cultures and lands that I visited-thank you for your respect for sacred things, for the reminder to reach out to people with as many of their words as I can, and for all of the advice and insights that you passed along. My friends and I are buying stock in Ultrathon-Wow, great advice! ;-)
I should've watched your video before I went to Bali!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my time there but I could've definitely used your video as a reference! You guys are dope! I love all of your videos! -Que
I love your videos so much. I wish I had seen this video when I was in Indonesia a few years ago. I’m currently traveling south East Asia and your videos are so helpful. I’m in Vietnam now and am following your 4 week itinerary. Thank you for the great advice.
Just discovered you guys. Loved this video. Awesome drone shots, amazing ECUs - wish you had lingered a bit longer on some shots, great info. Audio - Specially loved your jazzy soundtrack. (I'm a jazz lover) Great sound levels and mix. I love Ubud and you did it justice. Perfect execution. Subscribed. Looking forward to watch you hit 50k quickly.
*Thanks for tips, I was about to drive all the way from Kuta to ubud, but since its only 10 bucks per car there, I better leave motorbike at hotel and rent other one in there*
Great video! I'm headed to Bali at the end of this month and I'm even more excited about Ubud that I was before watching this. I just purchased my first drone and was curious if you had to get a permit to fly your drone in Bali?
Ubud is nice with the walk ridg and the monkey forest etc but it's full of tourists everywhere. Sidemen is like an improved version of Ubud without the tourists so consider this place when you are in Bali.. soon we are making a video for this amazing place that is the last one of our 2 months bali trip but we enjoyed so much
Informative and well put together. I'm impressed with the filming and soundtrack and the info and history helps, too. What shade of lipstick are you wearing? (joke...) Thank you!
Drone laws are a touchy subject. They are constantly changing. As we’re not officials and probably not the best to give legal advice on drone piloting, our recommendation is to check online before your trip to see if there are any new laws or requirements for flying. I can tell you that we've never had an issue, anywhere we've been, with airport security trying to confiscate our drone. Hope this helps! Safe travels!
Recommending people use a motorcycle, you should also mention the requirements for drivers license and if one is covered by travel insurance should they become involved in an accident. These things happen so if you’re suggesting using a motorbike, it would be good to know about these other associated requirements.
I living in bali and i never used a car! Pls avoid Jl.Raya Ubud...insane Road only made for tourists. High polution. Just five min out of center starts the paradise)
I love drone footage as much as the next person, but how annoying and intrusive is it getting to vacationers in areas like this? I feel like I can't go to any touristy area without these damn things buzzing around.
Would it be possible to let's say get a Grab from Ubud to Tegalalang Rice Fields, spend some time there and then order another Grab to take u to the next location? I'm a bit confused about how to travel to multiple locations that are relatively close to each other (but too far to walk) without renting a scooter. Thank you!!
Yea, Grab works just like Uber. Anywhere there are tourist, you'll be in good shape. The more remote areas you travel to, the less of a chance of finding a driver who just happens to be around. Safe travels ✌🏼
You will not get a Grab in Ubud (or Canggu) - get a car for a day or half a day. Your hotel can organise, negotiate on the street or look out for booths - there is not much bargaining room though, the Ubud drivers are a tight knit group and you can’t bargain. Sanur is the best place to use Grab freely.
@@gwendarobb8667 Not true. We got a grab several times in Ubud. They aren't as abundant as they are in Denpassar or Sanur but they are definitely out there. Raluca- the most economical option is to rent a scooter. If you don't think you'll be comfortable on one then just wait until you get to Ubud, open the Grab app to get a better idea of how many cars are around & what they charge to go to different areas. Either use Grab or use the quoted prices to negotiate fares with cabs/arranged transportation (if you feel more comfortable going this route). Hope this helps and safe travels ✌🏼
3 hours is a little much. You can check the app once you are there. When you plug in your destination it will let you know if it services the area or not. If it doesn't you can usually find a bus or van that can take you 😃
@@IntAffair haha. I thought so. My hotel is charging IDR 800,000 for a transfer. In fairness it is a 3/4 hour drive but like everyone else always looking for a deal!! Many thanks for such a fast reply.

We are a family of four / all adults I’m wondering Is it worth paying for a tour of waterfalls and the rice fields & temples or can we just do them all on our own with a driver? How many days should we set aside?
