Welcome back to the Foxhole and now going back to Metal Galaxy era, it's been a while.🦊🤘🌅
Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find more songs like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new.
The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, and it's quite clear in the solo section.
Tim Henson said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs for this.
The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc.
BND is inspired by certain "city pop" band (city pop is a subgenre widely known in Japan) and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly.
Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together.
They did it again at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix.
They already finished the Europe Tour and they did it along with EC playing their collab song twice at Resurrection Fest in Spain.
Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it.
In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one.
In a more recent interview BM said that they would love to collab along with Fall Out Boy, can you imagine?👀
They recently announced they will be at Knotfest Brazil as part of the line up marking their first time being in South America, The One is getting crazy with this news.
A sudden rush of kawaiiness at the end with your son, perfectly fit for a BM reaction, don't worry.👍
Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 And good morning to your son. "Brand New Day" is a good song to start your day refreshingly. (it's 6:30 am here in Tokyo)
I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. In addition, classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides ❤ Various elements created by 3 beautiful performers and 6 instrumentalists (4 guitars in total + bass / drum) with virtuosity were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video.
They did it together again in Belgian festival on June 20.

This performance is musical and visual bliss! I wish they had an alternate video focusing on the dancing without the constant cutaways.

I love Babymetal's choreography even though I don't like dancing or normally care about it at all. The choreography is simple but precise, and different for every song. The simplicity is what makes it so interesting to watch. It doesn't clash with the vocals and the music, it enhances it. It acts out the lyrics and even the music sometimes. It's like interpretive dance in a way, except it's not godawful horrible and cheesy like interpretive dancing usually is.

Great reaction. You already know this song is 5 years old and that Tim and Scott recorded the original guitar tracks for the album. This was their first chance to perform it live together.
I can only echo comments below concerning BABYMETAL's choreography ... theirs is the only choreography I can think of by any artist that actually holds any interest for me (it even annoys me with a lot of artists who dance or use dancers), but with BABYMETAL it just enhances their performances and their songs - and I really don't understand how they do that to me.
I never knew (or even considered for a moment) that metal could be improved by adding choreographed dancing, I was happy for decades watching bands stand and stare at the neck of their guitars or run around, jump about, do the synchronised headbanging or whatever as they performed their music ... and now I watch even my old favourites and something is lacking.
BABYMETAL have spoiled other concerts for me, they put on by far the best live shows I've ever been to (and I saw some of the recognised great live bands and artists in their prime).

Great reaction. I was never a fan of courography but got to love it the way BabyMetal does it, and it's got the point when I hear a song by BabyMetal I think oh what are going to do with the courography. Love this song it just chills you out, and Su's vocals and the courography are memorising, and the instrumentals exellent .
Try something different again from BabyMetal. Light and Darkness 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Yeah, I never cared much about dances and choreography before (old-school metalhead here) but now I believe it's a very important part of what they do and I enjoy it a lot.
That was a hell of a laser show (on site), I'm a sucker for this kind of things and I'm glad to have experienced one of them at Legend-MM last March.
    🤘🦊

I admit to holding a decades long grudge against girls/women who would clear the dance floor when rock music came on, thinking it's not dance music. That's why I fell in love with Babymetal right from first viewing!

In reality a voyage back to 2019. Colaborations were more difficult but possible. Babymetal had to send a special prepared Mastertape with a Dummy Guitar Tra k and Dummy vocals
And Polyphia replaced the Dummy Guitars with their own Stufg and send the Mastertape back to Japan, so they gould add a new voice zrack.

Great reaction! This song was released back in 2019 on BABYMETAL's album, Metal Galaxy, but it wasn't until Fox_Fest that they finally got together to perform it live. Fox_Fest is a 2 day music festival held by BABYMETAL this past May 25/26 in Japan. They invited Electric Callboy (They performed RATATATA live for the first time that weekend as well as filmed the live music video), Polyphia, BILMURI, and Metalverse w/ Asterism band to perform. All 5 groups perform on each day for 30,000 people.🤘🦊🤘

BABYMETAL's choreo in this one is particularly good and it makes sense that you were a bit mesmerized. Their choreo overall is largely interpretive for each song that they do, and is so much better and more interesting than the garish and overly-sexualized low hanging fruit type of stuff that Western top 40 types generally bring to the table.
At any rate, this is my favorite track from BABYMETAL's Metal Galaxy album (which is saying something because that album is excellent). The arrangements, mixing, vocals, guitar work, and overall production are perfection, and there's just no question that it is a total masterpiece and a total earworm to boot. This live performance is something I would have killed to see too.

Good reaction! I love this amazing chill song. Polyphia will have a new collab with Babymetal coming too!
Also, you guys should really check out some of Babymetal's earlier works as well! Suggestions:
*Road of Resistance (Official Live):* A great showcase of the band, Su-metal's vocals, and Babymetal's showmanship 9.5 years ago when they were just 15/17.
*Akatsuki (Budokan 2014):* Su-metal's solo when she was 16. Love ballad, but Babymetal style 😁.
*Ijime, Dame, Zettai (Sonisphere UK 2014):* Babymetal's iconic 1st major international stage appearance, as the won over a crowd of 50K confused UK metalheads. Also, it's Babymetal at their rawest - Due to it being a Festival, no stage production/lighting, just the girls and their Kami Band.
Look forward to more Babymetal! 🤘🦊

Easily one of my top 5 BABYMETAL songs.
Suzuka's vocals as well as Moa and Momoko's backing vocals are angelic.
