You've got to let it come to room temp before removing it, otherwise you shock the stone and it will likely crack. Thanks for taking the time and energy to share your efforts with us.
Hi, great video! A quick question, I’ve started experimenting with casting rough sapphires and once cast they seem to have discoloured (gone darker/grey) is there a way to clean them up again to their original colours?

Sometimes there is residue on the stones and it need to be burned off with your torch :)
