- Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDP was released in 2023 and i think this fragrance is a sleeper hit that will be talked about for years to come. In this review i will tell you why i think this fragrance is underrated at the moment and deserves more hype!

I love it! To me, it smells very similar to PDM Leyton.
I like the original better but just picked up the new Le Parfum and I am loving it 😎
I picked le perfume too, IMO Le Parfume is great during the summer as well thanks to the lemon top note, it make it smell like those molded woods on the shore, it really adds minerality and saltiness to the woodsy notes of the vanilla and saffron.
I like it. To my nose it’s a sweet, candied, elegant iris that projects. A little goes a long way
Yea! Im suprised there is no listed iris. I totally got that as well!
Some say that it doesn't smell like the ocean, Because of the salt marine notes people are used to. But if you ever had sailed in the open Sea and when it rains, the Air saltiness kind of comes down and gives you this during/after rain scent. So yes it does smells like the ocean during Raining storms. if you pay attention Jake Gyllenhaal wears a Rain Jacket on the Ocean Prada Luna Rosa Ocean commercial. So there you go. the more you know.
Fair enough but with this one the added vanilla takes away from the ocean note. To my nose it turns it into a nice vanilla bean ice cream cone by the water 🤷♂️
Yes, it does, I think when I use this Prada Version I just close my eyes and I do picture being in the open water when it rains. it gives me this Vanilla Ice cream Scent. Great Channel BTW. I love your work! @@ChadSecrets

There’s people saying it’s for summer, others saying winter. Some smell Bleu de Chanel (including me), others smell something sweeter (sometimes also me). I’ve come to think it’s a very fluctuating fragrance, that has a scent influenced by other environmental factors.
Just bought this one today after curly fragrance reviewed it and it doesn’t miss. A pleasant smell indeed.
I think the parfum version actually improves on it and makes it way better.

To my nose it comes off powdery as well. I quite like this one. I think it is really close to the edge of being too sweet. But the incense and woods offers a nice balance.
I purchased a sample from sephora.
I am debating on buying a full bottle. I feel like i have several frags in my collection that fill the same vibe as this. If i get some good reasctions from the women at work, then might pick up a bottle

@@ChadSecrets i think it is a very attractive profile as well. My wife isn't a fan 😕 and the girls at work don't much care for it.... but all the women I know seem to love Prada Luna Rossa Sport.
I am bias, I basically love everything Prada. They just produce such easily wearable fragrances that don't become cloying for the wearer

FYI - I wasn't saying you "cant" wear it in the Winter. I was saying that the majority of reviewers wouldn't agree with your statement "this is a perfect scent profile for the fall and winter." Fall, Yes, of course. The scent truly shines in the heat, so while it "can" be worn in Winter, it isn't "Perfect" for it, as you're stating to prospective buyers.

Go with the edt for summer!
For me it just smelled way too strong I smelled it on my shirt 2 days after I tested it. Smelt like an extreme strong hand sanitizer, the dry down seemed feminine on me. Black and Carbon though i absolutely love. Guess my body just didn’t align with ocean EDP

How does this compare to Mercedes club black? Since they are both vanilla incense amber scents.

When the lady at the store sprayed the tester and I said I smelled a bit of a spice, she looked at me like I was insane. I like it, bought it. Probably the wrong time of the year to have bought it, but oh well.
