@@MonsterSlayerSquad Fair question. Vaal Hazak is resilient against poison, and invisibility won't help much when clouds of miasma highlights Vaal's enemies. Likewise, Chameleos ought to be resilient against effluvium as seems to be the trend for elder dragons; Nergigante and Velkhana can both wander the lower levels of the Vale without issue. Basically the fight boils down to the two having to resort to physical force since their best tactics are inefficient. Vaal Hazak has a lot more sharp spiky bits to work with, but Chameleos has stronger hindlegs and more bulk to add omph to its slams. In the end, I think Vaal has the better shot of winning, but it's not a guarenteed sweep.
@ES 46 you make some good points. I have to wonder though just how potent are each of their "gases" against eachother. For example would Chameleos poison be more deadly when ingested by Vaal or would the effluvium be more deadlier on Chameleos. It's a really interesting match up to think about, because they really do feel like equal.
@@ES-dp6tw Do not forget that within the mechanics of the game, their breath attacks primarily cause physical damage and only then impose status. In a normal match, they have equal chances, but if you take the Rise Hamelos, then this is a completely different story.
@@MonsterSlayerSquad the reason Chamelos lost was because he used his standard attacks at the end. His attack when he flies up and spits down twice is very strong, as is his upgraded combo ultimate and his new small area explosion ultimate. By the way, at the beginning I thought that Kashala had the most chances to win, due to large-scale wind attacks.
@Прозоров Анатолий Yeah Chameleos has probabely the strongest single attack of the three, but it doesn't use them often enough. Kushala Daora really suffered due to blight and poison and was sandwhiched between the two many times. But I think the result was the correct result, because Teo is probabely the strongest overall, and Kush the weakest.
Makes sense why kushala fell first. The only one in the fight without any ailment or elemental blights. Those made a pretty big difference on the overall fight. When kushala went in to fight chameleos he was fire blighted by teostra and when he attacked teostra he was poisoned by chameleos. Near constant tick damage really took its tool.
@Manny MS yeah great point, both teo and chameleos took full advantage of that. If onlt risen kushala had is own blight; like maybe freeze his opponent for a short time
@E.D.D.S I was expecting Teostra win tbh, but not Chameleos to be the one to give him such a hard time. But I think a one on one between the eachother will really reveal whose the stronger.
@@MonsterSlayerSquad yeah those two were definitely the favorite, they have such crazy area control with the dust and poison clouds, plus the fact they can leave their opponents burned or poisoned was a huge advantage over poor kush, which prefers either straight projectiles or physical attacks, only having a few AOEs with a lot of windup tho
Naw the way Teo knocked the daylights out of Chameleos and Kushala's risen forms had me quite surprised. And that turf war out of thin air. All just so surprising.
I always wondered who would win if these 3 were to fight, it was ridiculously close though with tornados, fire and poison going all over the arena! 😂 Thanks for making this fight happen this was fantastic to witness 😁
@Caligula 300 I'll be honest I wasn't expecting Chameleos to be the one to giving Teo the run for his money. But I am happy Chameleos is wasn't just a push over like his regular counterpart
@@MonsterSlayerSquad Yeah Chameleos really surprised me too, it even had an early lead health wise and I was convinced it was gonna come out on top! No monster can extinguish the flaming fury of Teostra! 😎
I was hoping for Risen Chameleos to win but the fight overall was incredible. And a whole Turf War between Risen Kushala Daora and Risen Teostra happened. This fs was an exciting fight💯
I think something interesting about how this played out here is that Chameleos seems to be doing better when it’s fighting multiple opponents instead of one. Chameleos’s canonical fighting strategy is to win by attrition, it’s just trying to frustrate or anger it’s enemies until they quit or get gradually worn down and die. While fighting Kushala and Teostra both, Chameleos would often try to get distance between itself and them and then bombard them with ranged attacks while they were busy fighting each other. It was winning initially when it’s opponents were distracted and couldn’t focus on them. But the moment Kushala falls and Teostra remains, and Chameleos has its undivided attention, the tide almost immediately shifts into Teostra’s favor, as it relentlessly attacks Chameleos and takes advantage of its slow movement and attacks to effectively combo it until it dies. I have zero doubts in my mind that if this was a 1v1 with just Teostra and Chameleos the cat would’ve raked him over the coals. Also, fittingly enough, the way the fight turns out is probably the most accurate way a three-for-all with the trio would play out: Chameleos counters Kushala, who counters Teostra who counters Chameleos. Kushala is crippled by Chameleos and it’s poison and dies first, unable to debilitate Teostra as a result of the venom, and once it’s down to just the two of them Teostra’s inferno cripples Chameleos and quickly finishes them off.
For some reason this makes me think imagine if you start a new pokemon game and you go to prof Oak's lab and the starters are all in their final forms and you, prof Oak and Gary go down into some legendary pokemon dungeon and have a mental battle
@Cracstheidiot 69 I think a 1 on 1 between risen teo and risen chamey is going to be interesting and who knows if it can spam those poison moves it might even win
That was the best fight to date! Chameleos's strategy of letting Kushala & Teostra mostly fight eachother while he constantly poisons them was a great trickster plan but there was no way he could of beaten Teostra on his own. If only Teo had less health then Chameleos could of finished him off! Again, great fight!
@Knight Warrior Thank you, this was hugely anticipated fight. Kushala was picked of quite easily but Chameleos has a few tricks up his sleeves that makes him a strong contender in these fights.

Risen Teostra is just an absolute beast in Monster-vs-Monster combat, but Risen Chameleos showed them all not to underestimate it!
chameleos is a bastard and his risen version doubles down on it!
Chameleos never did forgive them for replacing it with Vaal Hazak.
@ES 46 no one can replace the OG elder Chameleos; though im curious how well it would do against a vaal hazak
@@MonsterSlayerSquad Fair question. Vaal Hazak is resilient against poison, and invisibility won't help much when clouds of miasma highlights Vaal's enemies. I rooted for Chamelos. Of all the rise monsters, he seems to me the most elaborate and interesting in terms of a set of moveset.
