I love how you are impressed by your ideas. I like that you point out mistakes or things you could have done better. This is why I keep coming back each upload. Great job! Happy hydroponicing!
I came to say the same thing, the little snickers at the surprise of it working is one of the things that keep me coming back, like a kid in a candy store discovering new treats!
Hi there, I am Jaime from Chile... I've been waiting so long for you to start experimenting with vertical in the green house. 2 suggestions: 1) bring the water to the top right away outside the towers and put small rubber tubing like on your duch buckets, that way you have enough preasure for a lot more towers and 2) don't tell me you run out of rain gutters! Put some kind of rain gutter on the bottom so you can slide the towers. Seedlings use a lot less space than full grown lettuce or herbs or strawberries and to give full use to those awesome cups with s-hooks. Can't wait to see what you do next, love your channel
Good job mate like your work. I kind of do the same. I wing it and design it as I go and surprisingly it matches the picture I have in my head. I can see you almost do the same. You know what you want it to look like then you just start making it without a written plan. My wife does not understand how I do small home projects without a plan. That looks awesome.
I just started mine up and my seedlings are dying. But I had my pump running 100% of the time. I suppose the timer is critical to allowing the rockwool time to dry out? Love your channel man!
Nice project Mr Hoocho, I made two DIY vertical hydroponics system for myself last year. Grew a lot of veggies since then. Got some cool ideas from your video, looking forward to your future updates.
I love to watch your video's Did you see the solution for the netcups from "all your tech" how to building a 3d printed hydroponic garden. Also the netcoördinator are printed with a "bajonet locking system". Waiting to see more. Would like to see a video : if you may make a garden again for the rest of your live witch systems would you use? Kimd regards Kees (NL)
Ripper idea mate, but i feel like this could be a bit more accessible without the 3d printer, by adapting or modifying other pvc parts. End caps, reducers, smaller diameter pvc pipes etc Maybe a follow up video with that in mind would be nice. Other than that keep up the great work 👍
I like your first version where it's setup against a wall, and the flowing water is silent. Is there a way to minimize the noise of the trickling water in this tower design?
Or you can buy the pipe, slit a hole in it with a saw then use a heat gun to soften it up and use a bottle to open it up and shape it into a hole for a plug. Cool it down with a wet rag so it doesn't sag too much and there u go. No need to print anything.
Hi hoocho i was wondering do u sell all those black plastic parts to make this system as i have no way of making them .your system looks great and it looks like its going to work really well .if you do sell those plastic parts what will they cost
I built your balcony NFT system and my spinach and romaine are growing amazingly inside my little apartment so thank you for all your info/help in your videos! Just a quick question, do you think the Mr Fothergill's 36mm Jiffy Peat Pellets from Bunnings are the best bang for your buck atm or should I try to source some Rockwool? In Sydney btw.. Love your videos man keep up the awesome work!
How tall do you think you could make the tower without the intermediate dispersing ring? For aquaponics or other organics that center piece would be day ruinous to have to clean
Hey Hoocho Enjoying your content. Would it not be easier to run the nutrient up the pole and have the delivery from the top of the pipe or does the hose running thru the system help with the spread of the nutrients
Hey Hoocho, loving your systems, and planning on using them in my very small back yard, can I ask a quick question, when you have 6 vertical pipes connected how long does a 100 litre reservoir last, I am just trying to plan how I refill it and how often?. JOined up on Patreon and looking forward to getting my 3d printer to work :)
would love to see a new design where we just feed the water through the top instead of through the middle of the system. That seems like unnecessary complexity. Also seems like you only need 1 or 2 rows instead of all 3 since the sun is only going to be coming from the 1 side. Otherwise I'm looking forward to trying this out
Can we all agree to just say "system" a whole lot less? I have a system at my home and it involves me saying "system" exactly zero times a week. Except for now when I've said "system" a bunch of times.
pretty easy everyone have one of those printers at home, besides are so freaking cheap like going and buying a dollar menu at mcd. Dude u are out of touch with reality...

Cheers Mike, hopefully it keeps on growin’ hahah
Cant wait to see the update on this bad boy

This is a pretty good episode of Burke's Backyard.
This is beautiful man! Love when two of my hobby's come together.
Love thy neighbour Hoocho…even when they make noise when you see trying to shoot a video… ;)

Thank you
💕 the content! Watching from CA USA where water is a scarcity.
Love your videos. I'm getting ready to set up a 128-plant vertical system and your videos are so helpful and inspiring.

Love your work but could pls explain a little more how the water gets to the top of each of the risers Thanks
This system is so cool, you have a wonderful imagination, keep up the good work and thank you for sharing!
Nice build mate. 👍👍 Really should look into getting a printer.. 🤔
Cool design. You should market the custom bits
Love your new idea that’s gonna work great
A year late to the party but wow! well done!!
Hi thank you for great ideas and wonderful equipment, have a question where can I but black n@l part around holes on this vertical tower
I love to watch your video's

Loving the channel, I'm into 3d printing practical parts also and gardening. Oh and aussie melbourne based.
looking forward to see what you grow......

Another good system. Thanks.
Mate amazing, I'm assuming they are made from pteg?
Tidy system, well done
how long between you have to recap the water and the nutrients ?
Slick man. I missed what you were growing in that contraption?
Always been a big fan. Can your hanging 100mm pipe be printed on Prusa Mini?
Or you can buy the pipe, slit a hole in it with a saw then use a heat gun to soften it up and use a bottle to open it up and shape it into a hole for a plug. Cool it down with a wet rag so it doesn't sag too much and there u go. No need to print anything.
I can't be assed with all that but its very cool
How did you deal with the presure decrease as water is pumped from the first tower to the last giving unequal amounts of nutrients.

"No leaks" as I'm watching it drip in the background XD
is it possible to run a system like this with dutch buckets off the same reservoir?
How tall do you think you could make the tower without the intermediate dispersing ring? For aquaponics or other organics that center piece would be day ruinous to have to clean
Good system mate!
nice 3d printer bench!
I use the same nutrients as you but my special t isn't yellow, have you got something going on there?
Crazy good content 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I would build this in a heart beat had I access to those prints. What’s the update with Hoocho store?
Hey Hoocho Enjoying your content. Would it not be easier to run the nutrient up the pole and have the delivery from the top of the pipe or does the hose running thru the system help with the spread of the nutrients

Great System...
Where do you buy this stuff
can i ask if i could buy the plastic components from you . i dont have a 3d printer or mates that have one . can you send to auckland new zealand ?
@hoocho My bro you built an hydroponic system for dragonfruit on the 6th Sept 2021, any updates or videos on that? How are the dragonfruit going.
He's stopped by this system in various update videos if I recall correctly. Last time I saw it mentioned it was doing well.
Is the screw safe from corrosion

for those without that "cheap" printer search on youtube how to do vertical hydroponic towers...find out how easy is to make them...good luck
Equals the hydro phonics run in a computer has wind and water equals the need for evaporation of computer water
Your description needs to include “ if you own a 3D Printer “ otherwise it’s misleading
I really like the video, but it was a bit too long if you can keep it in the 12 to 13 min that is what most youtubers are doing, keep it up
Lets see what your vertical hydroponic system is doing ..............;)
hoocho!
Yeah I’ll just whip them up on my 3d printer. Oh I forgot most people don’t have one!
Can we all agree to just say "system" a whole lot less? I have a system at my home and it involves me saying "system" exactly zero times a week. Except for now when I've said "system" a bunch of times.
The problem is systemic.
@@Hoocho Now he's getting all woke on us. Rise up people. Lol.

I think we need a systematic approach to removing the word system from our “hydro-vocabulary”

Thanks for the video! When will you start growing marijuana?

Funny, yet bad idea. Plants must be grown on the flat soil. You won't get much from vertical way of growing.
I bet he does get great growth

Are you putting any nutrients in the water or is it just water?
