    I like the simplicity of format that you guys follow. Nothing flashy just pure thoughts and discussion.

    I test rode it last year and wanted to book it but wanted to wait till the tubeless rims were available. Now that ghe tubeless rims are avaialable, ktm announced their updated 390 adv. Then bmw showed their F450 GS (still a concept). And aprilia Tuareg 457 was also seen.
    So ive decided to wait till mid 2025 to get a clearer picture of the market. Till then the xpulse will do. Although i am also intrigued by the new xpulse 210.

      Great advice to wait. Thanks for watching

      Had the 390 ADV. my issue is with the engine - they need to retune that before it goes on sale in the R.

      I wouldn’t wait on the BMW, it’s a prototype - they’re testing the market

      The engine itself is going to change in 2025

    Are there any features you feel are missing or could be improved? and how does the bike handle well on sharp turns and steep inclines?

    • @AdarshSRao
      @AdarshSRao 28 днів тому

      i feel missing features are a cruise control (very badly), better phone integration (keep the screen off).. improvements - RE service centres, over the counter sales of spares..
      sharp turns is a TASK, but once you get used to it can pull it off.. and steep inclines is intimidating but nothing over the top 2nd gear, let the engine braking take it out.

    • @prajwal.25
      @prajwal.25 28 днів тому

      My opinion here would be that RE is missing the trick of stocking up accessories and spares on par with their sales numbers. I've been waiting for brake pads for a long time now, and certain other accessories as well.
      There is news that RE will sort out the part where the phone screen needs to be kept on for Google maps navigation, but not sure when/how.
      Cruise control would definitely be a plus given the very much improved top end the bike has now. However, maintaining speeds of around 130-135 is fairly easy, and maintaining higher speeds is a challenge and this is where the throttle flicking comes across as a problem, for me.

      @prajwal.25 28 днів тому

      Sharp turns are difficult and I've even dropped my bike during trail school training, but it is something that can be perfected with practice.
      The right body positioning always helps, even for steep inclines. It is definitely worth investing a little bit on off-road training!

    What problems were experienced other than cylinder issues?

    • @prajwal.25
      @prajwal.25 28 днів тому

      Following were the problems that I faced:
      1) Cone Set Noise - This was fixed by the service center
      2) Bolts not torqued to the recommended values - had some loose bolts, fixed at the service center
      3) Clattering noise coming from the engine - Service center adjusted valve clearances but noise level is still more than normal. Cylinder head replacement under warranty was suggested by the service center. This is currently under process for my bike and I will update once done.

    Hey @OpenAdventures 👋🏻 Kindly make a video of the new Triumph Speed T4
    There's a beautifully tuned touring engine hidden in it. Most people said nah to it Infront of the original Speed 400.. But it's not the paper specs that matters.. it's what is being put together that matters. And in that case from what I've learnt.. the new Speed T4 is a brilliant torquey machine with great potential ❤ Do consider whenever you get time 😊

    The guy sitting on the left compared hitting white strips on the road at 40 and 70, dude any vehicle, you hit small bumps and all on the road at a decent speed you do not feel it.

    • @OpenAdventures
      @OpenAdventures  Місяць тому

      Sure. But the point really was about the suspension working better at speeds.

    Saw that bike in showroom. It okie the bike. The thing that pass me of is the side stand it bend until the bike is so low. While you climb over it. It so heavy n difficult to flip it up. That one who design theat side stand must be as tall as string bean. And that weight is ridiculous for a single cylinder. With a full tank with that side stand it impossible to flip it up. That is why I turn away from it. 😮

    • @OpenAdventures
      @OpenAdventures  Місяць тому +1

      We have a feeling that they will change the side stand soon

    • @ansonlow7764
      @ansonlow7764 Місяць тому

      @OpenAdventures they better do. I had been owning bike since 1969. I never saw such a side stand been made this way.. the designer must had been eating to much of banana 🍌. That where he got that design from. 😇
