Miss Sowatha, I cannot multitask and your videos don't allow for doing anything but enjoying the scenery and your ride. Thank You very much friend! At last my time here in Missouri has come to an end, I'll store the camper, finish repairs to the bike and head south west for the winter. It's back to tenting it off the bike and praying my tools stay safe in storage. I don't know when I will make a trip out east but Georgia and a Beautiful Lady will be on the list for seeing. I am so glad you are enjoying life on two wheels. with Love and Respect, You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
I lived in Maggie Valley for 13 years. Many beautiful places to ride there and the extended areas. Mount Mitchell is a beautiful mountain. Rode there many times. Awe inspiring! Thanks for sharing your adventures... Safe Travels... Blessings from Georgia USA 🪶✨ 🌹
I rode the BRP in August, North to South. That 50 mile detour was only slightly disappointing. It was a great road, the views were just as good, and I found a general store with a diner inside in one of the towns.. Lots of local jams, honey, jelly, and a damn fine meatloaf lunch with 2 sides and an ice tea for next to nothing. Great videos, and like aerial view synopsis at the end.
I agree the detours were just as enjoyable. Would you happen to remember the name of that store ? Would like to go back next year if they reopen the BRP.
Those views are breathtaking, narration is both informative and entertaining, making me feel like I’m part of this trip. Loved the Linn Cove Viaduct the most! Have to plan a ride there, for now thanks for taking us along on this picturesque excursion.
I rode the entire Skyline drive and Blue Ridge Parkway, north to south as part of my 9,500 mile / 27 state road trip earlier this year. A big storm hit the east coast in mid-April and I had the Blue Ridge Parkway almost to myself for 3 days. I must have seen about 5-10 cars over those two days on the more remote parts of the parkway heading south. You guys certainly have the greatest motorcycling country in the world. So good in fact, I'm heading back over in April 2025 for another 9,000 mile trip!
Glad you got to ride those roads before they were gone. The region is devastated from the Hurricane and I have cancelled my foliage ride for this year. Hope they can recover and get the region back to a functional level as quickly as they can. Such a disaster😢😢
@@Sowatha13 At least the areas I had planned to ride are toast. And even if there are still some intact, getting to/from or finding any services is impossible in the region. This looks like it was an Appalachian Katrina. Freakin awful😫

Watching these clips of you riding the Blue Ridge Parkway makes me sad now. I love riding the Parkway during fall season, but now the entire Parkway is closed due to heavy damage from Helene. Latest update I have received is that [at least the entire section in North Carolina & many miles into Virginia] the Parkway will not reopen for the remainder of the year. And I doubt that it will be repaired during the winter months, meaning a very long time before we can enjoy this awesome motorcycle ride again. 😢
I know exactly how you feel. I enjoyed the ride so much I wanted to return during Fall to watch the beautiful foliage. I heard Black Mountain got hit pretty badly as well which was one of my favorite little Town. 😥

Hi Sowatha. Enjoying your videos very much. I need to ask. Did you change the handlebars on your motorcycle? They seem more narrow than other Tigers. Also I'm looking at the Tiger line for my next motorcycle and being 5'5" 29 inch inseam I don't know if I'll be able to reach the floor very well. I also live and ride in Los Angeles and Sometimes I have to stop between cars when lane filtering. What is your inseam and is your seat adjustable on you bike? I want to get an idea since most likely I sometimes won't have a chance to scoot my but over when stopping.
@@jfundora8583 👋 I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos. This is a Tiger GT 900 LOW. I did not modify anything. I’m 5’3” with an inseam of 25.5 inch.
