Very interesting restoration, and a 93 yr old washing machine working again, what type of grease did you use in the wringer gearing and the motor gearbox please ?
Hello I purchased a camp and there was a BEATTY NOVA WASHING MACHINE there Model# BW3531 D and Serial# K 18640 - 6 amp machine I hope I got the information right since it was my husband who actually viewed it and not I but we were wondering about getting a manual for the machine since the drain lever no longer works it doesn't seem to be connected to anything as my husband had a look underneath it but isn't sure on where it would have to be connected to get the drain lever to work. So please if you have any information on this machine I would greatly appreciate any help you can pass on or where we can purchase a copy of the manual. Sorry he never got the year of the machine but hopefully with the serial and model numbers if all were correctly written that maybe that would help as to what year it actually is. Thank you for your time and hope you have a great day.
Hello, you could try contacting our library and archives to see if it may be something we would have in the collection that you could come see. You can find the contact information here cstmuseum.techno-science.ca/en/collection-research/library-and-archives.php
