Nice old machine. I learned of the Beatty brand when researching my Cadillac vacuum cleaner. Apparently Beatty acquired the Canadian branch of Cadillac maybe in the late teens or early twenties. So when you look up Cadillac vacs, you get a split of American ones and Canadian ones, which look related but different (obviously). I guess it was their MO to buy out companies to expand into other procucts.

Look forward to seeing this Beatty restored, we do get the odd one still over here but very rare .
