I like your narration, it's pretty natural when you are putting your sense of humour into your videos. Much more pleasant to watch than most of super professional calisthenics videos where every video looks the same.

Last year I ruined my elbow trying to power through it. I was in the teens with my pull-up reps and up around 20 deep dips, all on the rings. I struggled and struggled to put those two pieces together with no kipping. Three days a week, religiously for months. Now my (golfer's) elbow still won't allow me back up on the rings. So I stick to weight training and cardio, hoping that I'll have a strong enough tendon someday to try again. I should've learned about form like this video teaches *first,* but I thought non-strict muscle-ups were for pussies. Oops.
Yeah. I'm sure it's psychosomatic. Or it could be the fact that after a twenty year history of roofing, climbing, and swinging a hammer, I'm now middle-aged and still extremely active.

Last time I made my first muscle up with resistance band. This style between strength and dynamic muscle up really works and makes it easier. Now I'm practising pull ups and dips to make my first muscle up without resistance band. Also thanks TrainnigPal for all videos, It boosted my motivation and helped to start streetworkout :)

I've had a hard training session for one arm chin ups and catched a cold is my progress for the last training gone or will the muscles now not recover the right way?
Been training for 4 months. I was able to pull myself high enough to throw the elbows over the bar and couldn't lock it in. The momentum mustle up just seems harder for me.
You're just great man. Eventhough i kinda struggle with myself because of lacking motivation in tracking my nutrition. I just watch that i get enough proteins and vitamins but i never look at how many calories i consume a day. I hate all this nutrition-topic to be honest. -.-
It's not necessary to track it all the time. Track it for a couple of days to get the idea how much food makes how much calories, but then just listen to your body and eat as much as you feel like you need.
Cool video, though you could have mentioned the possibility of doing negative muscle ups, with either a jump or a pull over, the latter being a pretty cool looking move as well =)

@@alyssalew1639 I startet trying when i could do 15 pullups but i just could not get it. then i startet to practice pullups where i would explode instead of doing them slow. Then a few weeks later, one day i just did it and was happy as fuck. But it took me me years to figure out that i needet to practice exploding pullups instead the slow ones. That was the key for me

@@alyssalew1639 Just keep trying to explode as high as you can instead of going slow, teach your muscles to get the momentum going. Just aim for getting as high as you can. You will get it! I never used weights or west but its probably good. Also remember to practice the exact opposite, just going very slow up and down. This will keep your tendons healthy, as you can a get a pulled muscle from the exploding pull ups as it can shorten the muscle, but doing it slow on the way down a few times a week too, will save you from this. I learned the hard way. and stretch the formarms !

Muscle up is a dip and a pull up combined, so it's a pull and push exercise. You can do them on pull and push day, it doesn't matter. I prefer doing them on push day.
Did my first muscle up yesterday, now watching videos on it to learn better form and stop doing things like chicken winging Edit: I did it! Clean form all the way people!
@@mihbo6016 use bands to get the feeling, apart from that I just tried until I could (DONT overwork yourself tho), try to get your chest into the bar at the same time you twist your arms over the bar, also use some swing and kipping and for the swinging try to pull-up as hard as you can when you come out of the forward stop point

Yeah that's the problem when your mind is more though then your body. There's a risk of breaking it.
Have you tried doing eccentric wrist curls to get rid of golfer's elbow? It helps a lot but you won't be a 100% cured, more like 90% for me.

explosive pull ups are the key be sure you can do more than 10 regular pull up then practise explosive pull up and learn the technique
