It's been a lifelong issue for me, all the way back to my earliest sexual encounters as a teen. I attribute it to being desensitized by circumcision.
It's usually faster solo, which can take anywhere from 20min, up to as long as 2 hours, or sometimes not finishing.
With a woman, it typically takes at least an hour, rarely less than that, with it sometimes taking all night, (I've gone 5-6 hours several times) or just not happening at all, due to physical exhaustion and/or soreness. Condoms make it much worse and I rarely ever finish while wearing one.
It has caused problems in my relationships and casual encounters, because women tend to get upset, self-conscious, or insulted that I'm not finishing quickly enough for them, or at all.
I get distracting comments like: "What's wrong?", "OK, you can finish", "OK, finish", "No, really. Finish", "Does it not feel good?", "Can you even feel anything?", "Were you with someone else today?", "Are you just not into me?" etc. which really ruins the mood and makes it even more difficult to finish.
I often dread getting physical altogether, especially with someone new, who doesn't understand.
Similar lifelong problem. Also I can have an orgasm even though I don't ejaculate (but try explaining that to women). I had prostate cancer surgery and then a penile implant but neither affected the problem pro or con except that I don't masterbate anymore.

too much masturbation with visual assistance will cause it (western porn, as its usually uncensored)
japanese porn is censored, if you try it, it feels a lot different.
masturbating with just the imagination does not cause sex issues in bed for myself.

Exercise, stay away from porn and masturbation, it's the devils food, eat food with no labels, take zinc, vitamin D3 and vitamin C. Take it slow in bed let it build naturally too much aggression makes one worry, enjoy and enjoy, relax, maybe to give a time limit, 15 to 20 minutes. Smaller movements are better, it's about doing it in a comfortable time, don't over stimulate in the beginning. Doing it for too long is going to desensitized you man parts, have a sensible time limit.

I've dealt with this my whole life and I became really frustrated over the last few months as my gf and I like to have sex often and this issue does get in the way of the potential pleasure to be had.
One thing I found through some research that has been really helping is...now hear me out...squeezing your butt. Assuming everything else is ok with you, changing your technique might help.
We use our hips to thrust, but there might not be active glute engagement which is limiting the overall sensation.
Squeezing your butt as you thrust puts pressure on your perineum which is connected to your prostate which is connected to the tip of your 🍆. Squeezing your glutes as you thrust increases sensation in this way. There's additional build up of internal pressure which increases blood flow, which increases sensation, that increases in pleasure, and voila, potentially an easier finish.
If you lay down on your back, and squeeze only your butt, you'll see your hips naturally rise. Treat it like a workout, 3 sets of 15-20 at a medium speed and controlled pace and see how you feel. Focus on your glutes and that general area and you should start sensing a physiological response.
Add this feeling/motion into your thrust and it should help with the overall experience

The #1 cause of delayed ejaculation is antidepressants which boost serotonin. Paxil, Zoloft, Celexa, Lexapro, Prozac, Cymbalta, Effexor are some examples. If this is an issue, be sure to speak with your prescribing doctor about the problem. There are other types of antidepressants available which don't cause delayed ejaculation (e.g. Wellbutrin), so you and your doctor can work together to find what works best for you.
Effexor also modifies norepinephrine alongside serotonin.
I must be one of the lucky ones, no issues and I'm on Effexor XR.
Don't forget about drinking/drugging and chain smoking.
For me 6-18 beers does the trick. Sometimes I run out of breath before coming lol.

I've found that if I get desensitized during sex, I just start giving oral or some other foreplay for a few minutes. It allows me to reset and try again. Tends to work pretty well. Sometimes you just get numbed, so you need to remove the stimulation for a few minutes to give yourself a fresh start.

Im 30 and have had delayed ejaculation since i first had sex 10 years ago. I found with my current partner, the first 3 months we didnt really address the fact it took me over an hour to climax. But after talking about it, through communication and my partner understanding me more sexually, i found i can now climax in about 30-45 minutes which makes life a lot easier now! She has been trying to get me to go speak to a doctor about it but at the same time, i dont want to become a 2 pump chump

Brothers. Do NOT overlook that your Rx for Zoloft is the cause. When I was on it, I could go for a month and it wouldn't get off. (slight exaggeration). It was a miserable experience and I never suspected that it could do that. Very happy when I stopped taking it.
Paxil, in the same class as Zoloft, can also cause this.
I loved it when Zoloft stopped me from finishing. I was a stud for two weeks
Fluoxetine (Prozac/Lovan) is the same. It's even used off label as a treatment for premature ejaculation. Super common in SSRIs.
Im definitely on Zoloft, and I'm having the hardest time finishing.
Medical Cannabis or Ayahuasca helps this. Get off the Zoloft

I was having this problem. Which was going along with a reduced libido. Even though my Thyroid level would be in the "normal" range I found that after an increase in the level of hormone replacement the problem has be improved significantly. I have also taken your advise in another one of your videos which was helpful. However, No amount of behavioral or psychological modifications will work when the biology is off.
Can you describe a little more? I am on testosterone replacement my self. I ask the doctor for more but dont give it a try for me...

What about side effects from certain medication?
The biggest cause of the inability to ejaculate is medication. Anti depressants are a huge culprit here along with urology drugs such as Flomax and drugs for the prostate and hair loss such as Finasteride and dutasteride.
This just started with me. I never had this problem in the past. I noticed over the past few years that my sensitivity is down. Recently, my testosterone levels really dropped. I've been on TRT since 2008 and it has worked great. As I have aged over the years my testosterone levels keep dropping. Erections are normally strong as long as I remain on TRT. This lack of ejaculation is weird, but I hope it can be corrected.

Interestingly, you didn't specifically mention a large class of drugs that physicians frequently prescribe that can have a significant effect on ejaculation. A common side effect of SSRI's and SNRI's is delayed ejaculation (or anorgasmia.) While the SSRI may treat psychological/depression issues, long term use can backfire and affect (hopefully temporally) a persons sexual function.

I've always had this issue since I can remember. Some guys think it's a gift to be able to last 1 hour. Saw Urologist for it. They told me the brain is the biggest sex organ. I really would like to know what meds, even off label, that are helpful for delayed.
Delayed Ejaculating can also be from wearing a condom. I can not finish with a condom on.
Especially a discount-store brand or one that's too tight. Check out reviews online for better brands and proper sizing.

When I married at 27 I needed at least an hour most of the time. Sometimes longer. My ex would say she's getting sore & I need to finish or stop. Not sure what caused this but I only had sex twice before I met my ex. Decades later, same problem but my current wife lost interest in sex about 15 years ago.

I'm not sure you will see this as the video is a couple months old. I have delayed ejaculation after I go for a mountain bike ride. It is the day of the bike ride and sometimes the day after. It happened a couple times, now it seems to be after every ride. I'm not sure if it is now mental, because it has me nervous it will last forever! Your thoughts would be appreciated.

My libido started going down in my late 40's now in my early 50's delayed ejaculation was a major issue between myself and my ex partner. Her pelvic floor dropped making it more difficult for me, and performance angst came to the fore from my side. I allways had the ability to "last" sometimes going for hours alternating between foreplay and penetration, i sometimes think that may also contribute to my current dillema.

I started taking finasteride for a slightly elevated PSA and now have this issue and retrograde ejaculation. Quit the finasteride about a month ago, not back to normal yet.
Look up post finasteride syndrome. It's a huge problem. Peace.

@@rompinronny Tamsulosin is less selective than Silodosin (Rapaflo). I had zero functions (not just EjD) on latter, but was okay on Tamsulosin. Finasteride is an anti-DHT (not an alpha blocker) and causes some permanent and very serious problems in many men.
Had this all my life. I have high-normal T-levels and take no meds. It's less of a problem when I'm in a relationship for a while and more comfortable. Lack of sleep makes it much worse. Adding nipple stimulation will cause me to finish almost every time within a few minutes - so once I figured that out, problem basically solved.

Doc, you failed to discuss the importance of assessing chemical reasons. Years ago, a doctor prescribed Zoloft for me. That ended any ejaculations for the next 2 years. The fun of making love for a long session (30 minutes or more) quickly fades when you can't get off. Stopped Zoloft, problem solved. Years later, the same problems with Flomax. Still struggling due to my age(73), but persevering anyway. Keep the rlag upright !!! And NEVER give up. Thanks for your great presentations, doc. Good Job😂

No problem solo but I have had times during intercourse where I might get close but then it passes by and I have to actually concentrate to make it return. I’ve tried to use this control to my advantage being able to last as long as a woman needs before I finish. Sometimes it can be the opposite and I’m like a teenager and lose it quickly. I’m fairly certain it’s all in my mind.

What can be done when it’s a side effect of antidepressants?
It is frustrating when this happens, but I’m guessing in my case it’s aging. Happens most often though if I’ve already done it that day (myself or with partner). Went through a period where I would ejaculate with no orgasm at all and that was incredibly frustrating. Timing is still sometimes off (ejaculation will occur before orgasm), but by and large this kind of thing can be corrected.

The footage in this video is so misleading. I have this problem and ladies love it. They always finish and often take advantage of the situation to extend the session into some sort of all nighter.

Some might think that delayed ejaculation is a real benefit. But, as someone who has had this in the past, for me, it was not always. Sure, I could last as long as I wanted for my wife but, after a while she was no longer enjoying it and the desensitization caused me to lose my erection, not finish and causing her distress.
Usually after a short rest period, I would regain my erection and finish which was fun but distressing at the same time.
The biggest problem was my previous self-pleasure practice and, though I did not know it at the time, my ED med is designed to delay ejaculation. I have adjusted my solo practice and now that we understand about the med it makes our time together more fulfilling. If it looks like it make take too long, she knows exactly what to do for me to release and, I think she enjoys having that power.
I don't mean to pry, but if you don't mind answering, what does she do to release faster.

It only happened during sex. But when it comes to hand soloing, I can finish no problem. As the saying goes: If you want the job done right (or at all for that matter) you do it yourself. I guess that's one of the reasons why I don't want to get into another relationship (I get nothing out of it).
I found out that I had very big problems especially with young sexy women. Just the thought of getting them pregnant prevented me from finishing. Now that i'm in a steady relationship again, zero issues.

I have secondary hypogonadism due to a pituitary adenoma. Cabergoline treating the pituitary issues helped.
Are you on any antidepressants? SSRI, SNRI, or pretty much any medication or supplement boosting serotonin can make it difficult to reach climax.

this is actually one of these problem i have had for my life, probably contributes to why I'm happier being single. Don't think it's to do with testosterone though, I started lifting weights 2 years ago at 40 and now i'm lifting 37 kgs 4 to 5 hours continuously each week, and the muscle I've got now is from my testosterone. Actually it's probably to do with porn, like you explained in your earlier videos, because in my late teens i was crazy from drugs and watched porn a lot, and have had this problem since I then, though personally i'm not worried

Testosterone only aids in energy and recovery, it doesn't build muscle it's just an aid and crutch.. building muscle if from you lifting.. I am doing anabolics and test and this seems to be a reoccurring issue

Is it some issue with delayed ejaculation, some mental/emotional issue, or maybe in some relationships, and with age, when ejaculatory orgasm isn't the desired result, when with a partner?
Our society, and especially PORN, and other typically accepted ideals (like a man must have orgasm to have 'sex' with a woman?) just assumes a man must have an ejaculatory orgasm to be considered “sex” or 'satisfying'.
What if the basal premise, is wrong? Not all people need orgasm, or ejaculation, to have satisfying sexually intimate and satisfying experiences with a partner. How many times have women sexually satisfied a man, but never had a reciprocal satisfaction, from him, after his?
What about the seemingly rare man, that is personally satisfied, just pleasing his partner to her or his joy, orgasm, or multiple orgasms, but not needing anything physical/sexual, in order to feel that sense of joy and satisfaction?

My history exactly! I always could last a long time, but it was because I had control over it. My friends would say, are you doing it by thinking of other things while having sex. But it wasn't. I could literally control when I was ready to orgasm. But now, that control is gone and it takes a really long time to orgasm, if I do at all. Like you, sometimes I just have to say, it just isn't going to happen tonight. Embarrassing and difficult to deal with as a man.
Any ssri could cause this. Also blood pressure meds. Electrolyte imbalances too.
