This is the match where there was a sight screen issue and flintoff was bowling from such an angle that it was becoming impossible for the right hander to sight his ball.... Its great bowling made to look even better due to the circumstances...

Actually the problem started on day 2 after england had batted.. the umpires intervened and told to replace the sightscreen... But Micheal Vaughan fought with the umpires that the conditions shall remain same throughout the test.... And only flintoff's height and angle was such that he was exploiting that blind spot perfectly....
@@tarunaggarwal7648 You should appreciate the bowling efforts of flintoff as he swings the ball and line an length very well and on the other side as for South Africa sight screen issue should be an excuse for their failure as they have many great batsman.

I vividly remember the impact Flintoff had in 2007 Ind vs Eng ODI series and that is my best memory of him. Indians could breathe easy in the matches he was out of the team, however, in every match he was in the side, made things difficult for Indian batsmen and ultimately won the series for eng by playing in the decider match.

I feel that Flintoff was a much better bowler who bowled thunderbolts and much more impactful white ball batter than Stokes.He retired too early otherwise he would have been one of the best all rounders of all time.
Stokes is a better batsman, Flintoff a better bowler. Both are great all rounders.

I like to tell this story a bit, but I got to meet him when he first joined the Brisbane heat. I went to a warm up match and I saw this fella who looked like Fred, but he was just carrying all the other blokes kit bags.. I thought that's strange..
But sure enough it was Freddy carrying Chris Lynn's kit 😂🤣 had a quick chat with him, was an exceptional bloke. Great fella.. and he carried Chris Lynn's gear for the next few games 😂🤣

How wonderful it is to have cameras. How many cricket games were spoiled due to partisan/incompetent umpiring. It is impossible to never make mistakes as an umpire but in those days many had a self righteous, I can do no wrong demeanour. Nice to see umpires being humbled. Imagine if police and other corrupt institutions were held to DRS standards.
