'Digital Dynamism' - IPS & Google Roundtable Discussion Dec 2014

The Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka (IPS) teamed up with Google Asia-Pacific's Public Policy and Government Relations team to conduct a Round Table discussion on 'Digital Dynamism: Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the New Sri Lankan Economy' in December 2014. The meeting was aimed at shaping a new narrative around innovation and entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka and brought together entrepreneurs featured in a series of case studies compiled by IPS as a follow up to a previously published IPS Working Paper - ‘Fostering Innovation to Fast-forward Growth in Sri Lanka.’ The video highlights enterprises and initiatives utilizing digital technologies to disrupt traditional models and captures perspectives from those present on Sri Lanka’s potential and challenges in the digital economy. IPS Research Economist Anushka Wijesinha was the lead researcher in this initiative.
