Repairing a Bosch GBH 5-38D rotary hammer that is not hammering.

This hammer has done quite a but of work but I would say it has now been laying up for quite a while.
The hammer o ring have gotten stuck and moulded to the hammer pipe.
it also has an oil leak and the is no oil left inside the gearbox.
A service kit a few seals and bearings soon get this Bosch kicking like it should again.

Dean, after the first 5 pieces were taken apart I was lost so many pieces and you don't even look were they come from and yet you put them all back in the right places. Before, seeing your site I thought people either repaired their tools themselves or tossed them out and bought new ones I don't think spares are available in Australia but I'm usually wrong. Interesting repair so much knowledge from one guy just brilliant.

I have a different model of a similar hammer drill. I’ve taken it apart, but not as in depth. This will actually help me diagnose the one I inherited that was used a few times 20 years ago then stored. Thanks!

I like your videos as a UA-camr myself your camera orientation is off cuz if I watching full frame mode you footage which means if you're using a cellphone you have it pointed straight that on side that's how you get the blassings from the US keep doing good work
