Sir, I could not comprehend Total Internal Reflection in Science. You taught it so well that I understood in Geography . Use of a glass of water with salt mixed along with a laser beam was an extra personal pain taken to drive home the point. Thanks.

Yes, but density of atmosphere is extremely less at inosphere level. Lot of empty space between gass particals.
