I nominate you both for the national treasures of Turkiye. What a fantastic job you have been doing. Time just flew while watching. Thank you for showing such incredible sites.
I love your videos and all the information about different places in Turkey. I visited this country in 2022 and I fell in love with all the beauty and history. I think one month there is not enough to see all the fantastic history each city has. I was mesmerized when I saw Hercai, the turkish series. That's when I decided to visit Turkey but I couldn't go to Mardin and where they did the series. But it will be next time I go. Thank you so much for this video.
You two are a testament of a good marriage all these years and you’re still having adventures and fun together! Great examples, much love !! Love all the places you take us on here! Looks great there! Thanks again!! God bless you both 💜🕊️
Although I have seen most of it before in parts, this compilation was a real Christmas gift; so serene and humble, it really gave me an hour of meditation. Looking in to an area unknown to me was amazing. Gotta go to some of these places one day. Thanks for opening my eyes. Again.
We love your videos showcasing the historic regions of Türkiye. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. We have only seen a small part of the country and hope to get back some day.
What a super super couple. Welcome to our country. Hope every day is full of exceptional pleasure’s. And thank you for being kind and honest to Turkey.
As an author of a Turkish Historical Fiction, I thoroughly enjoyed this video and many of your videos. Keep up the amazing work and appreciation for Türkiye!!!
How amazing Turkish people are. My god gracious me. I must say I was in love with Trud dancing with the bread. Mike thank you for sharing this marvellous moments with us. I am in love with Turkey and I always will be. Tessekuler, gracias, Obrigado and thank you very much. Harika.
Again, great and thoughtful content. I watch from the US and anytime someone tells me they are traveling to Turkiye, I send them one of your videos. Keep up the great work.
Mick and Trudie, Thank you for making me miss my train! I was so captivated by your channel that I completely lost track of the timetable for the Stockholm-bound train. You are a wonderful couple, and I've learned so much about Türkiye thanks to you. Warm regards, Mohamud.
OUTSTANDING!!! You bring us so close to what we did so many years ago; Gaziantep - WOW; we loved being there and going into and through the mosaic museum - Sanliurfa - another of our favorite places, thank you so much for the refreshing tour. We wonder how much damage occurred to those wonderful communities - knowing the earthquake really did a number on so many of the places we used to walk!
Thank you again Mick & Trudie for a fascinating look into another part of Turkiye & it's amazing history also some interesting & funny locals along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed this video - a must visit. ❤👏🙂🇦🇺
Dear Mick, if you had shot and sold this video as a documentary under contract with TRT, you would have earned at least a few million TL from TRT... This is really valuable... Congratulations...
Mick Amca seni ilk defa sahilde çöp toplama videonla tanıdım yıllar yıllar önce. Gezi videoların gerçekten çok güzel. Türkçeni çok geliştirmişsin. Tebrik ederim.
Superb video - thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish . Many thanks .Am very familiar with western Türkiye but have to say the places you visited here ooze authenticity and a certain timelessness. Now will have to see if it is doable from the UK as i am not confident enough to drive in Türkiye. Keep em coming !
Thank you mick and trudie for showing us Allah (GOD) swt's beauty around the world especially in Turkey 🇹🇷 ❤ My favourite country in shaa Allah one day will visit this area in Turkey, Lots of love frm Pakistan 🇵🇰
I give credit to Sila, one of the early famous soap opera which successfully promoted to Mardin and Medyat. A wonderful place really. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Good Morning Mick & Trudie, may I say thank you for one of my all time favourite videos, the part about the Dam and the loss of the historical places, peoples livelihoods & nature is heart breaking! I loved the Abraham Monastary & the Hotel that you stayed at for £60 a night, also as a practising Muslim Mardin & Eartha look perfect places to visit, also as we don't drink drink the places are perfect for us. I can not stress how wonderful & interesting the Museums at Chandlere Ur look, also the historical places of Gobeklitepe, the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, Nemrut & the Septimus Serverus Bridge truly look so amazing & definitely worth visiting, although during the summer time. May I say that the section about Halfeti was so sweet as the romance and the Love shown between Trudie & yourself on the boat ride was so special. Now as I am proud to be British & accepting of all beliefs, my Hero Dave Allen once said "May Your God Go With You" & for that reason I also Loved The Monastery Of The Virgin Mary as that was the icing on the cake for me too & so once again thank you for probably the best video you have made.💗💗💗

Hi Mick & Trudie I like to THANK YOU both for promoting türkiye. If I were turkish minister for tourism I would have give you a medal or even have your statues build in your favourite park. They spend millions and believe me I don’t think as effective and true as your videos. I live in london almost 36 years and through your videos I am now looking differently to my home country thanks to you. You are both absolute GEM. God bless both of you. I hope we meet one day and have a chat over a good meal and good wine. On me obviously. Fethiye is my favourite place too. Believe me or not years ago I was thinking of retiring there. I still got 6 years to go. Maybe I’ll see you there in 6 years who know. Look after yourselves. Love you both❤️
Awesome video, amazing details and beautiful places, indeed. I will be in Fethiye in a few months. I would love to meet you then.Thank you very much for sharing. Regards from Canada.

I can recall travelling around SE Turkey some 20-30 years ago. So different from what it appears nowadays. We stayed in a town called Batman. If memory serves me correctly the locality was predominantly Kurdish and didn’t reflect Turkish way of life at all. Still a friendly place we returned a couple of times when looking for a stopover. The borders were less organised back then and not as relaxed. A great episode. Can see the time and effort invested in this instalment. Let’s hoping for many more.
I appreciate that you still remember the town Batman and the Kurdish people, unfortunately uncle Mick did not mention the Kurdish at all which is sad I think. And there is big cultural difference between Kurdish and Turkish, especially regarding the hospitality and the generosity.
Thank you very much for the lovely video. So wish that area was easy to get to. Exactly the kind of holiday I would enjoy. Are you thinking of doing guided tours?!
Thank you so much for this video. I am so envious! You are living my dream life :) Let me know if you ever come to Winchester, Hampshire (the Christmas market is fantastic this year!). We will prepare a special Turkish tea for you both :) All the best.
(Not: Zeugma müzesinde mozaiklere dokunmak yasak, size ayrıcalık yapmışlar)
