BIG SHOUT OUT TO OUR Y&F LEGENDS MEMBERS:

What shall we try next time? 🤓
You guys have to check out the custom made reese shops when you come to America. They fill a huge Chocolate cup with their signature peanut butter and your hand picked fillings.
Takis is a Mexican snack, not American.
If you like hard candies and want a serious flavor bomb, the Jolly Rancher hard candies are fantastic. Watermelon is easily my favorite!
Y'all should set up a PO Box
Chili cheese Fritos, girl scout cookies like Samoas and tagalongs, Chicago mix popcorn, and Utz crab potatoe chips.
Never drink Soda warm when trying it for the first time. Put it over ice.
Agree, but to be fair, I've heard that drinking warm beverages is more common in the UK than here in the States. So for them, to have it be cold, may not actually make it better.
Correct! You're supposed drink it very cold over ice
Correct! Especially root beer. I think root beer is nasty when room temp, and I like root beer. A&W is alright, but Barq’s root beer is my favorite.
@@BigDave423im an American living in the UK and they don’t serve drinks warm. Sodas are served chilled, not on ice. They hear my American accent and always ask if I want ice 😂. One time they asked if i my son wanted ice in his milk for breakfast 😂, and without asking me just put ice in my orange juice for breakfast.
Unless its some type of Coke. Coke was created before refrigeration was widespread so it was designed from the start to be drank warm.
Turn your Root Beer into a real treat: put a scoop of vanilla ice cream into a glass or cup and slowly pour the root beer over it. Now you have a childhood favorite that lasts a life time called a root beer float.
No lies detected 💯💯💯
With a hot dog on the side lol
Yes 🙌 🍺
Yep my mom loved them. You can also do it with a coke. Just please make sure the soda is cold. Warm soda is 🤮.
I keep thinking that people sending root beer need to put a note in, instructing them to FIRST try it as a float. I think that should get a good first taste and be more likely they'd then enjoy it plain (though ice cold of course!)
Make sure the Root Beer is cold. Also, try it in a glass over vanilla ice cream. Root Beer Float
Yeah, what you said... LOL
Yup, root beer has to be ice cold. I like A&W, but I like Barq’s root beer better. Mug root beer my least favorite.
Speaking as an American, root beer is nasty!
Root beer is best in a frosty mug. Always ice cold, never warm. In the US, soft drinks are always consumed cold, preferably with lots of ice.
NOBODY drinks root beer at room temperature! Just the thought of it makes me cringe, and I love root beer!
Correct! The proper way to drink root beer or any soda is to pour it over ice. Drinking it warm is nasty!
I actually do. It's better cold, but it's not some crazy difference in taste.
I drink root beer at any temperature… but it’s best ice cold.
Where you went wrong with the Root-beer is it wasn't cold. Drinks/soda from the US designed around being cold when consumed. It changes the taste more than you would think. In the future just put it in the fridge over night.
Great reaction you 2, keep up the great work.
Dude stop repeating the same comment that has been commented already. It only needs to be said a cpl times for them to see it
@@yaboycapone1996 Oh, well since you told me to....
No, I will comment what I want. I would expect you to be an adult and just keep scrolling. But that looks to be far to much of an ask.
@@revtoyota you're so desperate for attention. Stop repeating what others say . It's weird af
@@yaboycapone1996 someone’s mad they have to read😂😂
@@revtoyota obviously you want attention or you wouldn't repeat the same thing that's been commented a dozen times already.
The ultimate U.S. snack food is all the different types of beef jerky.
Yeah, that’s top shelf snack food.
Root beer is made from the sassafras plant. The best way to drink is cold over ice in a cold mug. For an extra kick put it over vanilla ice cream and it's delicious.
I'm a 65 year old American and I've tried them all and more but you have a wide variety in the US but A&W is so much better when it comes in a bottle or right at the drive-in or restaurant
Used to buy it by the gallon out of a tap for LAN parties back in the day. Much better than the can.
For ranch flavor you have to try Ranch Doritos
The root beer has to be cold for a better experience. Set up a P.O. Box and we will send y’all American snacks. I’ve done it before. I’ve sent many foreign people American snacks. My favorite is when I sent lemon cookies to Slovakia. There’s so much peanut butter stuff I can send her.
Takis are from Mexico. The original “Fuego” are the good ones. The blue ones are watered down for the American palette.
I am so proud of her for liking root beer!!! Try it over iceAmerican drinks are meant to be cold. Heat the honey bun in the microwave. Y’all are so cute! I really enjoy your channel!
The root beer is good when it’s cold. 👍
Root Beer needs to be ice cold
7:22 Are you sure you're thinking of Ritz? Standard Ritz are circular, but not cheesy. There's Cheez-Its, but those are square.
The honey bun is way better when heated up for a few seconds, great reaction to our snacks!!!
You have to drink root beer cold
Whoever sent the root beer should have enclosed a note saying not to drink it warm or hot it has to be cold so they should have told you to pop it in the fridge for awhile until it was cold enough to drink. Alot of Americans who send the soda to people in the U.K. never tell them it needs to be cold and before anyone writes that they should know this, no they shouldn't because they don't have root beer in the U.K., so how could they possibly know this.
I thought this was common knowledge for any soda.
@@fermisparadox01not outside the Americas… even their beers are room temperature in most of Europe.
Yep, oreos and milk
I like double stuff Oreos with tea and cream.
@darla896 that'll do well right theremy cat just tries to steal the milk
use ice or vanilla ice cream with the root beer
As a kid, I didn't like root beer the first several times trying it. And now I love it, but I'd never drink it unless it was ice cold. Try it again cold and it may very well grow on you.
It’s a crime if every country in the world does not have Reese’s.
Oh no. That rootbeer needs to be ice cold or poured over ice cream fto make a rootbeer float.
Those must have been warheads light. The ones I know are larger and individually wrapped .
I imagine any soda drinking warm isn't the best. Refrigerate them first. ❤
Have you considered opening APO box?As americans love sending packages to our friends across the ocean to try some of our snacks and foods 😊
Since she loves peanut butter, she should try an at home treat. A PB&J (Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich). I know ya'll have jam over there and Jelly and Jam are different but it can still work.
Oreos are by design and advertised to be ate with milk... and I can't buy a assorted bag of traditional Jolly Ranchers, because once I start I'll be eating them all day long no matter how big the bag.
I've seen a lot of comments about Root Beer already, but what I haven't seen mentioned is that we have a few different major brands and many smaller brands of Root Beer that have distinct tastes. So, if you didn't like one, it might be worth trying another (and do it cold!). Saw an article recently of a taste test of 19 different Root Beers. My favorite happens to top their list: Sprecher.
Do the British drink their soda/pop/carbonated soft drinks like Coca-Cola at room temperature?
Americans drink ours chilled or in a glass w/ice. In the future, CHILL, CHILL, CHILL!!!!😢😢😢
fun fact: Root Beer actually started off as a "Health Tonic."
Pizza combos are my go to snack. They come in pretzel or cracker. Imagine a powder pizza flavoring stuffed into a pretzel. Thank you for not bashing our snacks as many do. Great video, thank you for your reaction.
^ This guy snacks.
Oreos are best dipped in milk, or 'dunked' as we call it. Can also break it into pieces in a bowl of ice cream. And for root beer or any other soda/pop beverages, always chill in fridge for an hour or just keep it stocked in the spare fridge in the garage or basement. Or, if time isn't on your side, pour soda in a glass with ice.
The honey bun is great with a spoonful of butter on top, then in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm is 10 times better!
Pop that honey bun in the microwave for like 15 seconds or so and eat it with a strong cup of coffee is the best
Okay, you did the Root Beer "dirty" - in that it should ALWAYS be served ICE COLD. And it is BEST when served as a Root Beer Float (with a good scoop of vanilla ice cream). That's the best way to enjoy root beer. Also, there are MANY brands of Root Beer and each has their own distinct flavor of root beer (which comes from the sarsaparilla root). Boylands is my personal favorite, but it's hard to find. If she likes peanut butter - she should try Fifth Avenue. It's an older brand candy bar but it is still one of the best ways to enjoy a peanut butter with a solid crunch. There's also an Abba Zabba which is a white taffy wrapped around a peanut center. It was one of my faves as a kid. But be careful - it is VERY sticky.
I adore people from other countries trying American snacks - they spend half the video covering their mouths while they chew. So cute.
Snacks you might want to find: Swedish Fish, Almond Joy, Twinkies, Hostess Pink Snoballs, Ike & Mike Tropical Typhoon candies, Beef Jerky, Boston Baked Beans candy, Snow Caps candy, Lemonheads, and York Peppermint Patty. Also Ghirardelli chocolate (competitor to Hershey).
Cookies n cream is meant to taste as that. Don't think about it coming from a chocolate brand. It's not supposed to taste like chocolate.
No ice!? Lord have mercy! < I hate root beer too but it’s way better cold!> 😂
gold fish are good in soups and chili, pretty plain on their own.
YES !!!! I've been waiting on this. Love You Guys ❤❤❤.
Our toothpaste tastes minty which creates the same issue here for some people who don't like minty flavored foods.
oreo are best with milk, actually on some of the RAF military installations that US leases from UK have all US foods and snacks imported and sold at normal US prices, you just need to know USAF members and they can purchase most of these snacks at the commissaries(super markets) fair inexpensive
Americans and canadians both grew up on A&W roof beer
How the hell could you drink warm soda? 😂
ROOTBEER & Vanilla Ice Cream
a couple of scoops then pour yr root beer❤👍 over it slowly
Use a Straw and a 🥄
Each brand of root beer is different, but these are the typical flavors used- vanilla, caramel, wintergreen, black cherry bark, licorice root, sarsaparilla root, nutmeg, acacia, anise, molasses, cinnamon, sweet birch, and honey.
It's the wintergreen, which has a sort of minty/spicy kick, that is associated with things like mouthwash and medicines. Pepto Bismol, the pink, thick liquid for upset stomach/diarrhea, is also flavored with wintergreen.
But we Americans don't seem to automatically think that is a medicine flavor- we have candies, like Lifesavers, etc. with that flavor. Also, we have orange, cherry, etc. flavored medicines but don't associate those flavors with medicine- an orange flavored medicine and orange flavored candy or soda are separate things.
Basically if you think of your favorite food and you could have medicine taste like that, wouldn't that be a good thing???
Root 🫚 Beer is really good with ice cubes. It waters it down a bit and the cool also contains its off liquorice flavor. Slow sip A&W Root Beer, Dr Pepper, Mountain Dew, and Pepsi after it's cold from ice and you'll crave them forever.
the honey bun goes very good with tea or coffee
Whoa!!! You need ice!!! Or make a root beer float by pouring it over vanilla ice cream. In a glass.
Drinking warm root beer from a can??? Who does that??? To be refreshing, it's better cold.
The pizza Pringles are good from what I can remember i haven't had any in a long time but when I used to eat them they were good
Might just be me but I saw y'all a while back and just now saw this. It really seems like y'all are way more comfortable and everything making content now. Love the content, keep up the great work!
Savages! This isn't the stone age. Use some damn ice cubes, it won't kill the planet! LOL! Love your reactions!
If you want the sour candy then the Normal warheads are way more sour and last longer. Nerds Rope or clusters, Sour Straws, Red Hots, Baby Bottle Pops, Pop Rocks, etc.
Here in America, the snack companies have figured out that when they reduce the punch in the taste people eats more of whatever it is. So that being said, if you eat more, you buy more throughout the year. And the chocolate that most American snacks have is made that way because we live in a hotter climate, and the companies want their product to have longer shelf life while in the stores.
Has someone already pointed out that Pringles should be eaten with the convex side down? That’s where the flavor powder is!
Fun fact: Honey buns are very, very popular in Americans prisons and are also used as currency
iced honey bun too ;-)
Makes sense, they are cheap so prisoners wages could accrue them easily enough and they are tasty. Ramen noodles too are popular prison currencies because of how versatile and dirt cheap the packs are.
See, as an American, I always had the shxtty flavored medicine like cherry flavored medicine 😂, so my palate wasn’t accustomed to the taste of “root beer” and once I tried it I loved it, favorite soda to this day, even though I don’t drink soda.
Americans eat Oreo's with a glass of COLD MILK. Some enjoy dipping the cookie in the milk.😊
Americans eat their peanut butter foods with a glass of COLD MILK to thin it out and wash it down.😊
I don't 🤷♂
@@IceMetalPunk you should
@@emanymton713 Nah. Growing up, my mom always had us drinking skim milk, but I haven't really drank milk in like 10 or 15 years.
I Need to grab a cold root beer from my fridge right now to fix my brains chemical imbalance from watching them drink a warm can 😂
So sorry you didn't catch in the previous research comments to make sure the root beer was at least ice cold.A lot of European medicine makers coat their product with the root beer to help it go down better. Some people make the proper adjustments and love it afterwards, some cant get over it Keep trying with the adjustments its worth it
They drank their root beer without any ice. That's like drinking regular beer without ice. It has to be cold! Even beer is better cold instead of sitting out in the sun and hot and warm.
Rootbeer is made from the bark of a sassafras tree, hence why the dinstinct flavor of medicine is tasted, But yea, if u think its weird, it is paired very well with vanilla ice cream, hence making it a Rootbeer float, you guys should give it a try.
Rootbeer is made from sassafras root flavoring. (Traditionally, it used actual sassafras root, but that was found to be carcinogenic. Some companies still use sassafras root, but with the carcinogenic elements extracted out and removed, but most just use artificial flavorings now.) Considering sassafras only grows in North America and parts of Asia, most Europeans have no reference for the flavor. On top of that, many root beers use a little methyl salicylate as part of the artificial flavoring -- and that is similar to chemicals from wintergreen plants, which is why people who aren't used to root beer might think it tastes "minty" or like mouthwash.
I find this very interesting. I like your channel due to seeing people, not having what I have had my whole life. The only thing you should EVER drink warm or hot is tea or coffee. Sodas are always chilled or cold. This was fun to watch. Do try the root beer cold, and the with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I'm looking forward to a retaste video when you try other snacks. I don't do too many snacks or sweets, so it is difficult to suggest. However, hard jolly ranchers are "banging" compared to the gummies. If i do buy a sweet. I prefer mounds, chocolate lava cakes, lemon juice concentrated, in Dr. Pepper. About ½ inch of lemon juice to the can of dp. I also like the lemon juice in the root beer same ratio.
i would say reese's is probably in the top five best candy in america thank you for the video
Here’s a lot things I think you should try! I had a lot of these during my childhood so this video brought back a lot of childhood memories lol
Fruit rollups, gushers, lifesavers gummies, Andy Capps hot fries, flamin hot Cheetos, hostess ding dongs, hostess coffee cakes, hostess apple pies, double stuf Oreos, snack pack chocolate pudding, flipz chocolate covered pretzels, vanilla/chocolate wafer cookies, lil Debbie honey buns, lil Debbie nutty buddies, lil Debbie pecan spinwheels, brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts, hi c fruit punch juice boxes, Welch’s fruit snacks (mixed berry and tropical), nutter butter peanut butter cookies, skittles, starburst, honey maid graham crackers, teddy grahams, cheez-its, Doritos, wise onion rings, lays bbq chips, Fritos, chili cheese Fritos, honey bbq Fritos twists, slim Jim’s, jack links teriyaki jerky bites, peanut butter m&ms, and finally, lil bites muffins
Open a post office box so people can send you things to try 😁
Other favorites of mine are The big Oatmeal cakes "Strawberry Twist "Swiss Rolls "Zebra Cakes.
I LOVE ROOT BEER IT IS SO GOOD. I used to hate it but now I love it, I normally buy the one that comes in plastic bottles rather than a can
Definitely gotta try the root beer and soda cold. Never warm. Taste totally different.
Has anyone mentioned that root beer is ALWAYS served as cold as possible. A&W even had frosted mugs at their restaurants.
Reese's have been my favorite, since I was a kid, I love it.
Banana laffy taffy is the best flavor
It's so artificial but so good
@@wednesdaay_only sociopaths appreciate real fruit in candy
So funny growing up in the USA drinking root beer and loving it only to find out as a 40 year old that (and I've seen 10-20 reactors on YT say the same thing) that non-Americans think it smells like medicine lol. Goes to show how much about our taste is based on what we're brought up eating/drinking!
Oreo's are made to dunk in milk or wash down with coffee, same with the honey bun. Also there are far more flavours of goldfish.
Funyuns, Twinkies, Fritos corn chips, soda -Dr pepper, mountain dew, cream soda, root beer again but with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and all soda chilled before tasting. Combos -cheddar cheese pretzel flavor, Hostess Funny Bones
Honestly, with food prices the way they are in the US, you actually got a pretty good deal, especially considering shipping cost was involved!
I would try the rootbeer over ice, and then microwave the honeybun for a few seconds to warm it up. So much better for both.
I 100% agree soda needs to be cold mainly because it's mostly syrup. So yeah put some ice in it.
I dont understand how mouth wash taste like rootbeer. In the states our mouthwash either tast like mint or vodka. Root beer is made from aged vanilla root. Cream soda is made from non aged vanilla abstract
The honey bun warm up for about 5-10 seconds and put ice cream on it with chocolate sauce and sodas or juice you get drink them cold and you can use any soda over ice cream It is always good for any time of the year
Honey buns are good breakfast, like nobody doesn't eat the whole thing! Facts.😂💯
When my brother-in-law and I were on a long road trip, we played a little game: whoever was driving had to keep their eyes open and focused on the road while sucking on one Warhead after another.
Pizza flavor blasted Goldfish....you're welcome.😎
Pizza flavored Pringles and Jalapeño cheese Cheetos, you might like thise as well.
A honey bun for breakfast with a cup of coffee is amazing!
First, warm that HoneyBun up in the microwave for 1-2 mins, and let that powdered sugar-based frosting liquify and soak into the hot dough.
Second, Rootbeer must be served cold. Best method is to take a large glass (made of glass not plastic) and dip it in spring water before placing it into the freezer to freeze, it will get frosted with the ice and the base temp of the glass will help keep the rootbeer chilled. Take this frosted glass (a frosted glass beer mug would be ideal), put two scoops of vanilla ice cream in the bottom, then pour the 4.4 degrees Celsius rootbeer over the top of the ice cream, slowly to let the foam stay controlled and in the mug. Drink it on a warm day, maybe with hotdogs & hamburgers and most certainly with french fries. The fries can be used to stir up the ice cream or even get a bit of the ice cream out by itself. Rootbeer ice cream is amazing.
Little Debbie Honey Buns are usually smaller than that. That one was a jumbo honey bun that is usually sold in convenience stores at gas stations (I think you all call them petrol stations 😊). The original Little Debbie Honey Buns come in a box of six or twelve and they are much smaller. If you ever try another one, put it in the microwave for a few seconds. They taste even better warm.
Should’ve gotten the root beer cold
*Absolutely*
Some of that stuff is for kids. Jamaican Ginger Beer is my favorite. A&W is great root beer. It used to be foamier.
Dark chocolate kit kat bars. - OMG I love those things. Entenmann's Cheese coffee cake. - I go back for seconds. I love anything that goes well with coffee 'cause I love coffee. For salty, best with salsa or any kind of dip are regular Tostitos corn chips (white corn I think). By themselves, original or cool ranch Doritoes are great. I also like Utz's special dark pretzels; a unique taste. Any kind of honey roasted nut that still has a bit of salt I can eat all day long. I was going to recommend ice creams, but they wouldn't survive the trip... I'll say it anyway: Tillamook is the company with the best quality mass produced ice cream that I have had. Anything they make is amazing. Ben and Jerry's is also very good quality and their flavors are definitely the best. And that's all I can think of right now.
A little tip that makes a wonderful difference; warm up the Honey Bun in a microwave for 15-30 seconds.
Root beer is basically a tamed down flavor of black licorice
Best way to eat a honeybun. Place on plate, cover with a slice of American cheese and microwave for 45 seconds! YUM!
Most American Cookies are usually better dipped in milk. Trader Joe's has a bucket of mini chocolate chip cookies that are very crispy and need no milk.
