Appreciate the review man, was actually debating these two products. I love minimal gray aesthetics as well and agree that dark grey border of the Logitech matt should probably be much lighter or at least match the main grey color.
Thanks man, especially for comparing it to the Razer! I'm looking for something in a darker shade of grey, so the Logitech Desk Mat should be the perfect color for my setup.
Thanks Mark. A really good review. I have exactly ths same setup as you or will have when the logitech desk mat arrives. The mat I currently have shifts when using the mouse so hopefully the Logitech will be a big improvement
It has too much friction, especially for the MX master mouse, the mouse is too heavy and with this desk mat it becomes tidious to move the mouse around, especially when doing fine movements with it. I wouldn't recommend it.
@@thomasscott8232 Any hard surface pad. I don't think you will find any mat (big size) that is hard. I use a logitech gaming pad which has hard surface (like plastic). It's made for gaming but i use it for work because i can do fine movements without the feeling that i need to drag the mouse with force or move it with much effort especially when its still and then i want to move it, that start of the movement is where i hate this desk mat, the start feels daunting, after that it slides. So you feel like you need much effort to start moving it then it gets easier which makes fine movements hard to do, since you want to move it just slightly so you apply much force then it slides easily which makes you drag it further than the needed location. I hope i explained it clear.
@@mahmoodzidan9553 You're the best!! Thank you. I have the Logitech MX Master 3 and am using it on a typical simulated woodgrain office desk. a) the 'feet' gunge up and b) I regularly need to perform fine movements, whether CAD or inserting cursor, sizing objects and I'm hoping for a surface without friction in order to support fine cursor movements. Your answer was the information needed. Appreciated
Just do it, even i that use it for normal use , the ergonomics themselves are worth it but the features make it even better, i also literally dont remember when i charged it last time

Yeah, they could have been more careful with the aesthetics.
Thanks for watching man 🙏🏾
Very helpful video man, appreciate it.

Glad I could help 👌🏾

I just bought the Mx mouse and keyboard and got the mat and sleeves for free. Waiting it to arrive :3
Nice!

Fair points. Thanks for watching
That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
Which mat do you recommend for fine movements with MX master mouse?

Good video! i think i'm gonna get this one it's cheap and looks good...
Please can you give the link of your desk wallpaper in 6:44
Wallpaper is one of the Mac defaults you can find on the system
good but didn't give an idea of practical usage with the forearms on the desk and sizing with practical usage.
Could have used this comment to ask a question
How has it aged for you? Any discoloration or issues?
Yeah, there has been a bit of browing, but I think this can be washed off
@@MarkYaasiI got one in purple and it just arrived today 🤣. It is nice. Thank you for reviewing it.
Is it good for gaming?
I don't game. But I think it might be too small for gaming
@@MarkYaasi too small 💀?
Hey, do you have any updates on the mouse? I’m thinking about getting one for work.

Just know why people use desk mat instead of mouse mat. Thanks. It's asymmetry.
