its so impressive to see you evolving from a casual recorder to an upcoming filmmaker!!! Love this video, also the infamous mx browns !!!!! im actually getting adapted to the scratchiness making it sounds chalky and nice for me again nice video!!! Love the scriptures and shots.
It's one of my favorite switches, I've been using a MX Brown board for jeez, 12 years now. Poker 2 aluminum plate, tape mod, lubed, cotton pads inside the case, cotton silenced stabs, and it sounds pretty good. The light bump you get used to, and it really aids with typing once you stop bottoming out. It's only scratchy if you're bottoming out a lot, but even that is enjoyable to me. I like the scratchiness. It's a good feeling. Granted I had to do some work to get it to function this way, but it's very worth it in my opinion.
As a Browns enjoyer, I will still tell you they're not a switch that will wow you stock. I prefer to springswap them due to my preferences on weight and length anyway. I have the best experience with 45g 20mm Keebz 'n Cables springs. I like to lube mine with 3204 and use TX films, but if we're judging by stock feel, I think they are best appreciated with longer, lightweight springs that don't overshadow the bump and in fact emphasize it
In 2019 i tried a ducky with Cherry MX Browns and the tactile feedback was really noticable not sure how its become known for having none at all. I never forgot how that felt and I havent enjoyed another switch like that since but then I havent tried many. Currently using low profile keychron banana opticals and thinking about trying cherry MX browns somehow (prolly have to get a new board).
