And the publisher is there literally just to put their brand on it and take the money, WWE is the one that dictates the game itself. Obviously when you sell your game rights to 2K, you should expect them to include a career mode similar to that of their NBA games because that's their thing. But they still had the same people in charge of actually making it happen for years so don't blame 2K. Don't blame the developers either because they were also just doing what they were told. Blame WWE.

He talked about what if he was the U.S. President, and asked the fans in attendance if he had their vote for him to get elected. Fast forward to 2019, and WWE 2K20 comes out. You play through mycareer, and part of the story is The Rock as the U.S. President. Is that crazy or what?

That and your timing for the releases of games compared to the deaths is siginficantly off. Guerrero died AFTER the game released, as did Benoit. That's what made them so creepy. It was directly foreshadowing, even as you played it. You didn't have the power of hindsight while playing.

Benoit and Guerrero weren’t coincidences, very weird that they both involved Taker and they both died. Either immediately or shortly after that. The scripts to these games are approved in advance so they have an idea of what’s going on, it’s only the consuming audience that gets lost in the mix of it all

It was 6 days away from Wrestlemania 29, and The WWE Champion The Rock came out to talk about his match with John Cena. They were in Washington, D.C., and The Rock was talking about, what if he lived in Washington D.C. He talked about what if he was the U.S. President, and asked the fans in attendance if he had their vote for him to get elected. Fast forward to 2019, and WWE 2K20 comes out. You play through mycareer, and part of the story is The Rock as the U.S. President. Is that crazy or what?
I remember the Guerrero one, pretty sure it was very close to his death that the game was released, so for the hardcore players of the time who finished the game quickly after release, it was a fucked up co incidence to say the least. I played svr07 but didn't remember the Benoit one, crazy co incidence indeed

The Eddie Guerrero passing in Smackdown vs Raw 2006 season mode the part of the undertaker choke slam him in the coffin it looks terrified when I think about his death not like it happen in the game but actually happen when he was dying in the ring in front of the fans back then, then Smackdown vs Raw 2007 season mode when the undertaker confront Chris Benoit on the promo about him and his family until the murder suicide event happen when I was a kid heard about it, it’s pretty haunted and the game does kinda predict the future
Actually the story line is that the undertaker would attack your opponent after your matches and it was reviled that it was Eddie who was controlling the Undertaker because he had the urn

Couldn’t you choose what superstar you used in the season modes? It’s not like they completely predicted Eddie and Chris as you could pick any superstar.
Brock wasn’t in WWE 12’s story mode... in WWE 12 he appeared in Universe Mode after you completed you first match on RAW in the mode Brock would come out and attack the winner which also unlocked him

And it's my understanding that one of the prerequisites for inclusion in WWE 2K games, especially as a decorated preorder bonus, is signing a WWE Legends contract, which generally includes induction into the HOF, or part-time in-ring contract, plus agreement to occasional nostalgia appearances. This is precisely why the trailer for Goldberg specifically included him staring out the window of the car, at an exit sign to "Suplex City", specifically foreshadowing his Wrestlemania match against Lesnar. Warrior was likely expected to make some occasional promo appearances on Raw and Smackdown, and I'd guess be a surprise entrant to the following Royal Rumble, had he not died before hand.
That and your timing for the releases of games compared to the deaths is siginficantly off. Guerrero died AFTER the game released, as did Benoit. That's what made them so creepy. It was directly foreshadowing, even as you played it. You didn't have the power of hindsight while playing.
