- Hey guys, I live in the Myrtle Beach area so there's a lot of interesting places to explore here. I love putting my drone up and searching for unique shots. Today I went to Pawleys Island and shot some cool stuff. I will definitely upload more content about Pawleys Island soon because they have a good ghost story that's legendary here. I love this place. My kids love going to the beach there. We visit feom Kansas to hang out at this historic little area.

I live on the Oregon Coast now, yet I grew up on the Thomas Jefferson's Vice President Aaron Burr's daughter's Theodosia Burr Alston the wife of South Carolina Governor Joseph Alston Esate that was from Brookgreen Gardens to the midsection Plantations across from South Causeway to the Georgetown Bridges that Lucille Vanderbilt Pate, the child of George Vanderbilt III she inherited, yet I saw she passed away - Thank you Lucille for being a good steward of the estate. I miss surfing Pawleys Island, and I miss home. Yet mom tells me they broke the estate apart so much and there are so many houses and the wilderness hunting lodges are all now grocery stores and shops which were not there when I grew up. But Pawleys Island side looks about the same - yet heard Pier was destroyed and the arcade there is gone. When I gradutaed from Georgetown/Winyah, I moved to New York City, and later ended up on the westcoast in San Clemente Beach, California before moving to most beautiful beach Bandon Oregon and Bandon Dunes World Famous Golf Courses.I went to that church at the start of the video as a child and teenager. There were almost no houses on the marsh side and the south inlet over side had NO houses at all there. I know the Tip Top Inn was destroyed as well.

@BeachDad thanks! Your video is making me want to go now! Lol! we have close friends who live down there and now we know how nice the people are in that neck of the woods and how there is so much less rushing here and there like it is in the greater NYC area. To us it sounds like paradise in so many ways - I have always loved the beach and Pawley's is just beautiful!
