    You’re the best Government Agency.
    I love your presentations
    And videos about Truth
    And finding it.

If you like this you'll probably like the Chemical Safety Board's youtube channel. They have animated safety case studies.

I like the use of a pry bar to open the cooler. Also the vise has a bent handle. Very telling...

Good to see you keep it in water.

Why when a flight recorder box is found in water like this and the lion airlines 737 max that crashed on October 24 2018 are transported in a water container?

Because if they have been in salt water for a few days, exposing them to air can cause them to rust and corrode into uselessness within literally a few hours. Here it was transported in the same muck it had been found in, with the same chemical composition. It was removed from the water for only about a minute, then put in fresh water (possibly with some weak chemicals to counter the effects of the salt) and it will be rinsed for at least several hours, perhaps a day or two, before finally being taken out and dried off.

Curious why it was transported in water and then transferred to water once there? Isn't the idea to have it dry for data transfer?

I'm assuming that they do that so if they're any cvr parts in the water it can be used

When the unit is found submerged, especially in salt water, it's best to keep it away from air to minimise corrosion, until it's ready for analysis. It is shown being moved from the swamp water in which it was found, to clean water as part of the unit's preparation.
The unit itself is in a waterproof and fireproof casing. The casing looks is reasonably good condition, so the memory device inside should be intact and dry.

In the case of a wet crash, keeping the FDR wet with the same water from the crash site minimizes corrosion that could accelerate if exposed to air. In the lab, the FDR is then placed in distilled water prior to drying and taking steps to extract or recover the data.

Once power is removed, electronics are pretty resilient to water (even salt water) while drying can leave residue that damages things and is hard to track down. If tape is still used leaving it wet keeps it from sticking together and getting damaged as the water evaporates.

Anyone know what the rinsing solution might be? Mineral Oil, Distilled Water maybe glycol Solution ??

Wow. Let’s pray that wasn’t the cause. I saw the FBI is involved. Hopefully we get some answers soon from the Voice and Data recorders.

Why so long for public to know what's on the audio ! Maybe a death struggle between pilots is my guess

If you look closely, looks like they use some adhesive to tightly seal the cooler to protect the CVR from being contaminated any further.
