Road Warrior's never sold their brand to Vince and could of gone over to Japan and made a boat ton of money. ECW Dudley Boyz wouldn't been able to. The best analogy here is, the Dudley Boyz are like a college football team that needs a power 5 conference to stay alive while the Road Warrior's are like Notre Dame an independent football team that doesn't need a conference to stay alive. There brand name carriers them. The crowd put the Road Warrior's over and didn't need Vince to carry them. The Dudley Boyz will never have that mystique!
The Dudleys didn't get House show title runs (a la the Steiners). They didn't get a forced tag team finish they didn't need (a la Anderson and Blanchard). And they sure as hell didn't get a ventriloquist dummy spouting instructions to them (LoD).

he wasn't over for shit they that's why his push was ended so abruptly. he never could work and had long since lost his pop
The Blackfoot Sicilian Bullshit
Remember watching that match with The Dudleys and The Acolytes where they basically just beat the shit out of eachother and that incident where The Dudleys beat them up with 2x4's after the match .After the bullshit move that Public Enemy did by not doing the job it was assumed that The Dudleys would do the same so The Dudleys basically kicked their asses and earned their respect so to speak .And look how they went on to be 1 of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling bar none.
If you forget the Roadwarriors !
@@brickfacemortar4432 Could never forget The Road Warriors .They were the 1st most decorated tag team but their WWF Tag Team Title runs were short lived to be honest . Felt that they deserved better . Sorry took so long to answer ya .
@@craigstrachan No problem Yes I loved them in AWA.
@@brickfacemortar4432 Saw them in the AWA ,NWA and WWF . Have a vhs tape of their matches from Japan .1 othem is the unification match with Jumbo Tsuruta and Yoshiati Yatsu for the All Japan Unified Tag Team Titles with Tsuruta and Yatsu putting up the PWF Tag Team Titles against The Road Warriors' NWA International Tag Team Titles. Tsuruta and Yatsu won the match by disqualification but the match was definately being dominated by the Road Warriors imo. Believe the match is on UA-cam . Definately worth a look .
The answer to bubba’s question is aj styles, ik it’s recent but still
This was filmed like a decade before he joined the company.
Great tag team! Maybe the best ever
In fact if you really think about the whole 80's golden era roster, were developed in other territories. Hogan, MUD, Savage, Jake the snake , million dollar man etc, and ric flair did it later also, then Goldberg, y2j, and the rest of the vanilla midgets
What's MUD stand for?
The road warriors, Steiners
Now when bubba look back at what he said vince didn't made sting.

Dudleyz should be in WWE HOF ASAP! As well with the following tag teams: Dudleyz/Hardyz/E&C/New Age Outlaws/Billy & Chuck/Demolition/Legion of Doom/APA/Headbangers/
Dudleys are in the hall of fame.
I know idk why I posed that lol
Billy and Chuck?
There right....the Legacy of Dudleys/Hardys/EandC is The Best Tag rivalry ever
Sorry, the Road Warriors didn't need to put women through tables to get over.
Its not a priority but man he has had golden tag teams.
The legion of doom made it to the tippy top

I disagree with you guys. From a WWE standpoint, yes, Dudley Boyz were bigger than the Road Warrior's, but you guys sold out your brand to Vince. So of course Vince had the power to push you guys over. While the Road Warriors brand is still bigger than the Dudley Boyz.
I saw these guys in Savannah Georgia they the house down
Plenty of wrestlers originally from other promotions have made it tbf
Not what he said. He was talking about gimmicks.
Booker T, Chris Benoit, Eddie. Ric Flair. All acts that weren’t created by WWE but made it to the top.
Guys that made it to the top that were not Vinces creations.
Eddie
Benoit
Jericho
Dudley's
LOD
Flair
Mysterio
AJ Styles
Booker T
Big Show
Aj styles, booker t, Goldberg, RVD almost, Eddie Guerrero, chris Benoit,
The Dudleys didn't get House show title runs (a la the Steiners). They didn't get a forced tag team finish they didn't need (a la Anderson and Blanchard). And they sure as hell didn't get a ventriloquist dummy spouting instructions to them (LoD).
It took a nerdy announcer to make Bradshaw humble. Quite the irony.
@LoyalT1987
True.
Those Public Enemy guys should have done it earlier.
Fkn insane to think thManua matches were all them. They were in the ring with the other two greatest tags.
Also I like the Dudleys, but their delusional
The Road Warriors.
Damn bubba let the man talk
The funny thing is now a lot of wwe top guys aren't made in wwe.
greatest tag team match TLC dudleys vs hardyz vs edge&christian
I don't like Vince but I don't hate Vince but I got to admit he's a Creative Genius
Facts
My 2nd fav tag team of all time.
AJ Styles made it to the top
These guys were just a different kind of goofy to Public Enemy.
Ermm you had a couoke of tag matches main evening raw and one dud of a ppv main event with Taker.
So the Steiner brothers don't count as far as coming from another company to to wwf and became champions?🤔🤔
I'd say only because they were bigger outside, big inside no doubt, but even bigger in NWA\WCW
Wait,... didn't they only hold the Tag championships once, and only on a house show run?
K1productions
They held the belts TWICE actually
They won the titles from Money Inc., Lost the belts to Money Inc again, but then gained them back. They then lost them to the Quebecers
But they never reached the same height of the Dudleys
Booker T wasn’t created by Vince and he went to become world champion
