  • The bassdrum is made of 24 staves and is hand turned.
    Every drumshell is turned on this lathe from 6" up to 24"

    Sorry about that my friend it was a misprint I want to know what type of wood lathe you have I'm trying to make my own custom drums for myself I'm not too crazy about ply shell

    Awesome job! question I am a beginner and want to make some conga drums, how do you mount such big objects on the lathe, do you use a certain chuck or what do you use? The conga dimensions I had in mind are 30 in in height and 11 3/4 width, I will soon buy a Grizzly G0462. Thank you in advance!

    Hey my friend can you tell me what type of wood lathe I'm looking for something big like that because I want to learn how to make my own custom custom drums are quite expensive and I'd rather make myself thank you for time
