People equate being a good duelist in Yugioh with with being a good character far too often. I find it much more interesting when a Yugioh protagonist loses because it makes them seem more realistic, give dudes a legitimate sense of tension, and allows room for character growth. I'm not saying that's what your doing, your comment just made me think about how Yugioh fans often judge the protagonists (and shows by extension) based on this fallacy of main character win rate percentage.

And let's not act like Yusei didn't cheat at least once or had the mark of the dragon tail then head, Yuuki didn't have literal aliens in his deck, Yugi didn't have Atem, Yuma didn't have Astral, Yuya(my fav) didn't just create random cards into his extradeck or Yusaku didn't have Ai's skill. And i know Yuga made his own rules to play, had maximum monsters created by others' id cards, but at the end of the day he's there by hard work.

Additionally, you could look at it even deeper. The "fear" in it's original name could be seen as a Representation of Yuga's own fears, while it's effect to change it's own name could be seen as how he's being the bad guy but is actually doing it for the sake of others.
I imagine that there'd be an effect added onto Sevens Fear that prevents him from being on the same field as Sevens Road. They've gotta balance it out somehow.

Hi i never watch YGO anime since Arc V and have a few question.. Is Protagonist's ace monster nowadays always has attack lower than 2500 ? I realized Decode Talker, Seven Magician and ace monster from new series don't have 2500 attack point
To be fair, Firewall Dragon was supposed to be the boss of VRAINS, but Konami made it too broken. On Seven Road Magician, there's a recurring joke that the rival should be the protagonist because, anong other stuff, his boss monster Dragaias has the normal 2500 ATK. Haven't seen Go Rush recently so I can't say about Yudias tho.
@@maxjpzYuudias has 2 ace monsters basically. Transamu rainac is a vanilla lv4, but it's basically the only 1600 attack low level vanilla, and another is Galactica oblivion, another vanilla with 2500. His whole deck is space themed, with all his monsters being the new galaxy type

Yeah i hear you 5ds wasn’t interesting to me one bit i never liked it I guess because I couldn’t even pay attention to it my brain got so overwhelmed by summoning and that it lost How do grasp how you summon each monster and yeah So it never gave me any hope of watching most of the Yu-Gi-Oh series. I Dearly got past the first season and that was when I was like eight or 10 years old you know I remember clearly liking it but couldn’t really really pay attention to it so it wasn’t as interesting for me so I stopped watching it.
And not only that I found Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds Pretty dark like things happen in that series that were kind of not very nice. That is another reason why I didn’t want to watch it because I have seen some of it I couldn’t even make it pass the first episode and it was like too dark and you know it was pretty dumb. And not very humane the fact that nobody from Satellite could go into the city where everybody has money and that In the way they were treated if they did something that was bad it was horrible. It was horrible and I just I don’t know it just wasn’t my favourite series to watch
Now Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V Was my absolute favourite because Yuya and other characters mostly that character He wanted to make people happy and entertain people with his duelling and I love that when people entertain people with stuff like that You know like the Cirque du Soleil and the globe trotters for example you know how they turn basketball into something entertaining and fun for the crowd. You know it’s just fun to watch you know So in my opinion I don’t think dings should be any different either with cards I don’t think anybody should be playing a game of cards Beat the crap off of somebody to win the millions of dollars You know however they play in those tournaments you know I don’t think people should be playing if they’re only wanting to win. Because it’s about entertainment it’s about the interaction with people and the fact that people there make friends and that and share the same interest A lot of people do And that’s why Yuya wanted to be an entertainment Duelist Just to make friends and to avoid conflict you know And apparently it worked too for the most part you know. Of course you can’t get everybody on your side but at least if you get the majority of the people Interested And entertained then that’s all what matters It’s about entertaining people and having fun with it you know. I don’t think it should always be about Getting against somebody or wanting to go and get your friends back that somebody else kidnapped even if it cost them their life you know. That’s not what Yu-Gi-Oh is about and that’s not what it should be about
