Your videos are my favorites out of all of th dj tutorials. Please tell me how I can use the prepare tracks on dj lite. Everytime I click on that tab it states that there is not enough room. I can utilize it when my controller is not connected but as soon as I plug the USB in the prepare list disappears and says there is not enough space.
Do you have anymore panes open? Such as the sampler and/or effects? If so try closing them. Serato usually gives that message when there is not enough room on the screen when too many panes are open.

Hey I was wondering if you could help me out. I just purchased a ddjsb3 and I have a Mac book air. I can see all the music from my iTunes in the app but I’m unable to play any music from my iTunes. I’m able to drag but when I drag it goes away. Also my playlist shows on the left side and I click on it and none of the music is popping up. If you can help me please. Thanks Jayden

Hi, first time messaging on u tube didn't know i could do this lol old school, i have a issue with my serato pro was wondering if you could he with any suggestions. On my crates i can set up the crates top to bottom 50s,60s,70,80s, etc and i noticed lately when i shut down and reopen serato the crates are all over the place it will not keep the order i put them in, i have tried to contact serato but not getting any good answers. thanks
P.. I have a few questions I also use iTunes for music management however the downside that I experience is iTunes makes a physical copy of everything so I end up with hella duplicates 🤦🏻♂️! Also let’s say I downloaded 50 tracks yo my downloaded folder.. I like to move my music to a music folder and not leave it in recent downloads.. so here’s the issue with that,, you take tracks from recent download folder drag them into serato in a to be sorted folder then I move the tracks from recent downloads to my music folder on my pc. Then serato can’t find the tracks💁🏼♂️. Is there a way around this or am I doing something wrong
In the settings of iTunes there should be an option for iTunes to "keep your music organized". This option is what makes the duplicate copy. If you'd like to select specifically where you put the files, turn this off. Then move the files to the desired location THEN add them to iTunes.

Serato would be UNTOUCHABLE. If it could simply auto update and directly browse folders that you have already stored on your pc... without having to download a 3rd party app. I feel like this is well overdue and for this simple reason I keep drifting back to virtual DJ
You are actually able to browse folders directly in Serato DJ. This feature has been part of Serato software since the early days of Serato Scratch Live. Click the 'Files" button which is to the left of the search box and you are able to browse all the folders on your computer.
PDotTV Thanks bro! Though, I am aware of this feature but while broswing there... It feels limited, e.g I am not able to see the BPMs nor the Keys. I am reffering to having the ability of "serato itch sync" already built into Serato itself. Allowing me to fully browse my computer folders without having to update each one individually in the files display. Similiar to the navigation panel in Virtual DJ
How do I add a playlist or crate that is not in alphabetical order! Another words my set would go by each song 1 thru 10 for example not by alphabetical order
I use BPM Supreme DJ Pool, once I download my music and then upload into Serato, how can I label or delete the songs I’ve uploaded that are in my music category in Serato, but since I no longer need as I placed the songs in the crates I created? It doesn’t show me if I already have the songs in my crate? And I’ve duplicated now can’t even delete from my crate, have doubles. Thank you in advance
how do you add full albums and keep the folders in tact, is it a case of naming a crate the same as the album or is there an easy way, dont use itunes cheers great vid

What are you talking about? How did you get music in there in the first place?
You can either drag and drop files from a folder on your computer into the library section, or use your iTunes library.

Are you using music that is actually stored on your computer? Like mp3s? Or are you streaming your music from AppleMusic on your computer?

Make sure you are in relative mode and make sure you have either "start from first cue point" or "start from beginning of track" in the settings.

Yes. I have my setting in iTunes set for serato to synchronize but it's still not working

Its not showing my music files or folders in windows media?
Tj Vaughns you have any problems with virtual dj? I’ve been using it for almost 2 years and I still haven’t really been able to figure it out

Does Serato DJ automatically give you the BPM and Key of any song or do I need to purchase separate software for that?
You have to analyze the files by clicking on Analyze to have songs' BPMs and keys. Don't know of a third party software that does it.

To delete a song out of a crate, hold down ctrl and then press delete. That should help you with some organizing!
