I am with you 😊 I am training too, maybe we can cheer each other on. My goal is to get my training done in the morning, not super early but 10:00 or something like that.

haha I too almost drowned when i first used the snorkel. I did some stationary sculling with the snorkel. Now it's one of my most used tool to focus my high elbow technique

With the snorkel I find it easier to use it with a nose clip, otherwise it doesn’t go so well (which is an understatement)
You’re doing great with your base building, very professional little production you’re putting out. Wondering if you’ve had a bike fit? I’m no expert but it’ll make a big difference to your bike comfort and maximise your position to push out a few more watts. I’ve had a couple but the best so far was by my physiotherapist who is a triathlete, plus it was charged as a normal Physio session (in Australia anyway).
Keep up the good work 💪🏻

oo the nose clip is a great idea! thanks! and yes I've been looking into getting a bike fit (just need to save a bit 😅)

Hi @EMELYNJADE thank you for your videos. I have been watching a bunch of them as I am preparing for my IM 70.3 training. Did you pay for the Mottiv app or use the free version? I am trying to debate between using an App for my training or just the good old fashioned Spreadsheet.

You are so welcome!! I did end up paying for the MOTTIV app

Be careful with your volume. Even with the reduced load this looks like a lot of training for early in your triathlon journey. Too much too fast risks getting sick/injured and being underfuelled (which means the workouts are probably a waste of time). I also transitioned from running to tri and something I super underestimated is how much more fueling is required. I think because swim/bike are lower intensity so you can do way more easy volume without feeling it.

I wish I could lift like you. I'm working on it. Very much a weakness of mine. Haply training.

believe it or not, it's also a weakness of mine too (well in addition after cycling). definitely takes some time to see improvements but it's very rewarding!
