Classic plate lift. Most 968's get it. Take out the small allen bolts that hold the plates in. Clean it all up. Copper grease and back together. The bolts can be hard to remove. If the allen key doesn't work, I have seen them turned with the help of a hammer and chisel. I have also seen folks weld a nut onto the head of the allen bolt. Get some spares, just in case it goes wrong. I see this is an old post, but it may be useful to someone.
