Before ASSUMING the person that was in the house was a deadbeat, druggie, menace to society - he may have been a homeless veteran and was desperate for a roof over his head. If he was living in a tent on the streets people would complain about that too. Not all down on their luck, poor people are evil. Just saying - don't be so quick to judge.
Thank you far too many of us who served and fell on hard times get treated like human garbage. It's touching to see there are people like you who still see us as people.
People don't realize how a person can come out of a house fire like that seemingly fine but the internal burns in the esophagus and lungs, once they become inflamed it takes the person out pretty quickly.
It's called a LUCAS device (Lund University Cardiopulmonary Assist System). It was developed by Norwegians and studies were undertaken at Lund University Hospital. It assists in CPR by performing mechanical chest compressions during cardiac arrest. It's one of the BEST tools we have on our ambo!

I recently had a large mobile home fire that was packed with junk so tight;y firefighters couldn't make their way through it to perform a thorough primary-secondary. Supposedly the mobile home was unoccupied and only used for storing of items (junk), but my concern was that it had electricity (illegally obtained), working plumbing, running water, so my instinct was not to assume anything until we literally deconstructed the structure to access every square feet of the interior (living area). Thankfully primary and secondaries were negative! Being a firefighter over 35 years a captain 20 years a major concern and fear of mine was to miss locating a person during or after a fire. Thank God missing a body has never happened! Be safe!
I remember one night some years ago I was in the ER for my gallbladder pain, and they brought in a guy to the curtained area next to me and were trying to resuscitate him for like half an hour. I think they finally stopped. I was bawling. I wonder who it was, tried looking in the obituaries but didn't find anything.
You’re a ghoul. I’m an emergency responder from Scotland and there’s no way our police, ambulance or fire crews would allows anyone with a camera into that scene. 90% of the time.. it's SOUTH Spring Valley(also known as La Presa or "La Ghetto") that is in these videos. Dictionary Hill divides North and South Spring Valley.
This is why its important to make an aggressive offensive fire attack/primary search when possible and not sit on your ass in the front yard squirting water. Anyone can put on bunker gear and squirt water. Real firefighters aggressively save lives and property
$641K for this house 3 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms... is paid off... for sale a year ago. off the market now. a real shit hole of a house and now has 4100 gallons of water in it then into the street, just keep pump clean water into the house even if the fire is out a hour ago... good job never know if it will start back up... anyone inside will drown for sure will need a boat to get out.. i look on google map and zillow this home have 5 garage doors around it as a fence so nice. the sad part is all the neighbors homes are super nice to look at.
As long as he didn't violate any of UA-cam's protocols, he can post it. When you see in the title, "WARNING GRAPHIC" in bold caps, you have a choice to click on the video and view it or move on to something else. If you insist on watching (because of your own morbid curiosity), then see something that's offensive to you, then your complaint has no credence.
Someone expllain to me the need to rip out an entire wall to a room that wasnt even on fire??? These fighters would not do that to their own home. Maybe its the terrible condition of an abandoned home. I bet theres lots of homeless living in these types of abandoned homes. A place for all the illegals to live for free.
That's an illegal room addition behind a garage door. If not equipped with proper egress routes the owner is going to be on the hook for manslaughter on top of code violations.
I'll explain...Fire travels into all sorts of unseen "voids" in buildings. To ensure that a fire is TOTALLY extinguished it is procedure to verify it doesn't exist in unseen areas. That being said...Quit complaining about "unnecessary power trips" and join your local fire department (or police department, since I'd think that you'd have the same complaints about THEM).
And, to appreciate the people RISKING their lives to SAVE a life. Too many fuqqin complainers about REAL life situations while sipping their Caramel Mocha Lattés...

It’s called a Lucas machine. Pretty common these days for BLS to have them in the field.
$20K but worth it

Very sad, sorry for the loss of life here....may he rest in peace.
Did they give the patient Cyanide antidote IV ? He was in enclosed burning structure and is in cardiac arrest
Looks like this house was illegally modified as residential. Just look at the garage door with the interior dry wall and no egress means.
What's interesting is San Miguel Fire-Rescue, does not have this incident posted in PulsePoint.
Ya, weird. I just looked at 7:17 am and nothing.
It was there and then suddenly disappeared. It was weird.
We use PulsePoint and appreciate it. Is there something similar for the Police Department?

Not likely Mr Conspiracy Theorist
What's that machine the fireman used?
Called a “thumper.” Automated chest compressions.

I have seen the same nonsense on vehicles too. Seems like a power trip to me. They need to be called to the carpet on that behavior.
If you listened to the audio they said the electric was rigged and a fire hazard. The easiest way was to get in through that garage
