- Late Sunday evening Northampton County box was transmitted for 364 Hemlock Lane for a house fire. On arrival crews found heavy fire from the rear of this large 6,000 square foot home in Lower Nazareth Township. A second alarm was transmitted.
Large hand lines were deployed and an exterior attack commenced. After the fire was darkened down, firefighters went inside to battle the flames. Shortly after I started filming, a mayday went out for two firefighters down inside. The Rapid Intervention Team went to work to rescue the firefighters. They were brought out on side 3 (Charlie). EMS transported 3 firefighters to an area hospital for treatment.
Palmer Township supplied two ladder companies along with Hanover Township Ladder 15.

Thank you Gene!
I will never understand if your going to break a window take the entire window including the sash it makes it way easier for FF bailout or victim removal looked like they caught good work.
The royalty of fire buffers lol
Great video billy
Thanks Nayan
The red lighting on the ladders has got to be way better for night vision.
Less likely to blind you when reflecting off the metal
Another good job bill
Thanks Nina!
I was listening to Scanner yesterday and they were screaming and they got mad

“We brought all these Ladder trucks we better put them up”
What’s with the gentle artistic way that Chief is breaking that window? BREAK THAT M.EFFER AND MOVE ON!
Just open it lol!!
@@PMAN-jj1hn opening doesn't allow a firefighter in full gear to get out easily. Taking the window is safer for bailouts.
Why are they breaking windows? Dosent seem to be anything to ventilate.
Taking the windows out as a precautionary in case firefighters had to bail out if conditions inside deteriorate, is my guess.
@@newsworking Horizontal ventilation helps to keep the fire within that room. Cheaper to replace glass than more of the structure.
What is RIT?
The F.A.S.T.
Rapid Intervention Team
Not seeing much of the RIT participation
They were probably busy smashing ALL the windows like everyone else inside.
@@ryanjeltema2132 RIT = Rapid Intervention Team Job Description get to the trapped or injured FFs rescue and evacuate them. Truckies are the window smashers.
