I worked super hard on this video, please give it a THUMBS UP (trying to get to 10,000!) and SHARE the video with a friend as it helps me in UA-cam algorithm! 😀 Have you scored any secret clearance at a store? 👇 COMMENT BELOW 👇
You earned a new subscriber today. I've never heard of this and downloaded the app today. I just got a new vacuum that wasn't on clearance for $79.00. It was priced at $159.00. You saved my mom $80.00 dollars!!! That means a lot to someone living on social security. Thank you very much.
As a Walmart employee, it’s important to pay attention when checking these. Gotta make sure it says the item is sold and shipped by Walmart. If it’s a clearance price from a different location, that’s a no go. Because each store sets their own clearance
Exactly. I’ve had multiple conversations with people about this when I worked there. Some people just don’t understand that. and whenever I get a manager who tells them the same thing, they still get pissy. There’s no pleasing people who just come in to argue about prices.
How does this work if your local store has almost all self checkout registers? Which I despise btw! And how would you do this if you scan your own purchases being a plus member?
As someone who has worked for Walmart I can tell you that they don't always honor the online pricing especially if it's a popular item because of the demand of said item. But I have seen some pretty awesome discounts. A guy came in once and bought two flashlights that were about $25 each and he only paid $2 for each of them because he used the Walmart app to get a special discount.
If they don’t. You could always put them in the cart, and put you want to pick it up at the store, and buy it that way, and you can buy it for the online price. Yeah you have to wait, but they don’t take to long, and you’ll be there to pick it up
My question is why does MY Walmart completely block internet access to them on the app within 150' of the store? It's so frustrating because I can't even log in for Walmart pick up :(
It’s awesome that not only did you give a shoutout to Super Unsexy but that you acknowledged him for what he does and what you learned from him. Mad respect to you for doing so. We need more love and respect to go around for one another. Keep up the great work and continue doing what you do, we are watching, learning and supporting you. Your work is appreciated.
Hey Matt! Last night I watched your video about scanning and checking prices at Walmart. Today I went shopping and two items I wanted to buy scanned cheaper. Walmart honored the online price. I saved $8! Thank you!
A couple month ago we scored BIG TIME at one of our local Walmarts, especially in the garden and outdoor section. For example $5 chairs, $3 planters, $10 rugs that were usually almost $100, big patio umbrellas, usually over $200 for only $25, a swing that normally is about $900 for only $100, a set of chairs usually $300 for only $20, i bought 2 grills, one was a open box smoker grill combo I got for $150 instead over $800… tiki torches one day they went down to $0.50, the next day marked down to only 10 cents. I went there almost every day for a week. The deals kept coming and made me dizzy. One other crazy deal…Brand new Good Year tires for only $19-$25 per tire. Basically we spent about $1500 for items worth about $4500. Now people at Walmart know us or hate us 😂
I have another trick! Check the date on clearance items. A lot of things that have been on the clearance shelf for a period of time are discounted in the system more than the clearance tag reflects! For example, I found an Otter Box Phone case originally $44.99 clearance priced at $22.50. When I scanned it with the Walmart app the in-store price was $5.00!! I would not have paid $22.50 but knowing it was only $5, I bought 2 lol
One little tidbit of information he didn't tell you though with that trick, is that if it is a lower price online it has to be in stock, if it is not in stock online then they will not honor that price.
I am all for it. I had no idea this was an option. My only question is what do we do if we use this for every item we purchase and purchase multiple items in one trip? Do we scan them all again while checking out and bring it up and let them scan the price from our phones constantly? Can I have them scan a single barcode and it brings up a list of everything I am purchasing and applies all those items prices to what I've purchased? If not, I believe this is the next step.
My local Walmart employees refused to give me the online prices as you described. In fact I wrote a survey that Walmart sent twice about how the local Walmart employees reacted and refused to give me the discount including Managers. So its great you had this work for you but for me just one bad experience after another .
Most of the employees at my local Walmart don't even consider adjusting the price to the one shown on the shelf. I can see me trying to get something changed to online price.
Petco does the same with their app, scan the in store item on their app and prices are way lower!! I’ve purchased $10-15 pet bows for $1.99-4.99 and $18-20 vitamin chews for $12 etc. So they will price match to their app prices.
I had a bad experience with Petsmart, on the other hand. The price was twice as much. The manager tried to give me all kinds of grief. I told him never mind, I’d order it online for pickup, go run an errand, and be back in 20 minutes. He saw the light.
@@GraceCase Yeah, I despise Petsmart! That’s all there is in here in my town, but when I was shopping in person more, I’d drive a half hour for Petco. Before I moved here, I lived in a city with several locations for each and I don’t think I was in PetSmart more than a couple of times in the 25 years or so since they opened. I love Petco, though!
I started using the app to verify prices a while back and found the lower price...so awesome, I watch super unsexy too. Thank you for all the tips and tricks.
This is a great hack! Thanks for sharing! I've been able to do this at Target too. They will have a lower price for an item on their app or website than what is priced on the shelf at the store.
I would suggest going to the SELF-CHECKOUT and when you're about to scan your "special" item, call the attendant over to change price for you after showing him/her the clearance price online. They're usually so busy with multi-tasking that they just look at your phone, see the price drop, and over-ride it without question! 😉😉😉
My only question, which I'll post as a new comment, is......what happens if you have a cart full of these items...like I would, when I'm sourcing a large quantity of items for resale. Seems like you'd really be pissing off/taking a lot of time away from...the walmart employee.
I did this and she wouldn’t change the price. Even though I could pay online and pick it up in 3 hours. Wasn’t worth the couple of dollars to come back.
@@rafaeltorre1643 Under the cashier terms, they are not supposed to change prices unless they are head cashier only. Because if you are getting something for less than what is on the sticker, Walmart can charge you and the cashier with theft. The cashier can get fired and most likely will be canned. Every item MUST be physically scanned even if you have 50 to 100 of the same item. Unless the shelf price is lower than the price scanned is the only override Walmart in my area will allow. Must be for same item and same size.
Also...I work at Walmart and all stores are so short handed at this point that it is TOTALLY possible that the item has been marked down in the system but hasn't been physically tagged yet. We stay behind because there's not enough of us. Lol
I purchased fabric for .25, yes twenty five cents per yard, using the app, I also purchased Pioneer Woman mugs for pennies. Don't remember the actual price, but I know it was less than $.50 each. Also had this happen at Target in their online listing an item was $12 cheaper than in store, so they stood by the online price. Really enjoy your episodes.
Red ALERT- Hey Matt, I work at Walmart in MI, and while what you are saying is true there are some stipulations to this deal method that I'd like you and fellow subscribers to know. First there are a lot of "hidden" clearance and rollback prices that we sometimes just don't get to price so if you scan something it could very well be a lower price, BUT if you scan something in the app and the price is for online there are some rules we are supposed to follow in order to give you a better price. #1 The item has to be sold and shipped by Walmart (not a third party seller on the site), #2 it has to be in stock, #3 it can't be a clearance price (rollback and sale prices are okay). Most times the price that comes up will fit all the criteria and a cashier or manager can give you the online price but not always, and while i know all walmarts are supposed to follow these rules some may and others may not, so be patient with the cashiers and managers. Thanks for the deals!
At our store, it has to definitively say "Sold and shipped by Walmart" in the actual description for the price match to occur. Third parties do not count
@@justicebeginstoshine8069 The Walmart app houses third party sellers as well. Walmart will never match those prices even though they're on the app. It prevents people from undercutting prices on the hopes the store will match the price. Say I'm Billy Bob's Emporium and I want to increase my inventory or buy things at Walmart cheaper and I am able to sell on the Walmart app. If I'm unscrupulous, I sell at a price lower than retail on the hopes that I find a schmuck that'll match the price because it's on the app as sometimes the lower price will be featured. At our store, it has to say "Sold and shipped by Walmart" and not "Sold and shipped by Billy Bob's Emporium"
That is very true. On the Walmart app there are third party distributers and even though the product is being sold and marketing on the Walmart app and advertized via the Walmart app, Walmart DOES NOT have to honor the third party vendors price even though they are using the Walmart app and website.
Thanks! I used to HATE Walmart! Now, we consider this a game and have a blast! I try to go super early, grab what I need then hit the clearance and bottom shelves. I found women’s Avia socks 15pk for $2.00!!!! So I literally bought 45 pairs of socks for $6!!! My kids love this and they don’t fight as much going to the store now!!
I do all you have to do is show them the price on your phone and they will check it on there phone using the app and if it shows up on there phone they will let you have it I have had it to show up on there phone even cheaper
Ive done that and cashier went and got the manager, bout 65 $toy at christmas for $10. Manager told her she should know about it since shes employed there....then she sayz to me that she just bought same toy for her daughter for full price and she was upset. Although i felt bad, i bought 7 toyz for 60 dollars. Most had that discount from app. Exception are disney, marvel and cocomelon.
@@coppertopvon , my time is valuable and I could be doing other things. How valuable is your time? The "profit" you're claiming to make is much better invested from the savings from not unnecessarily spending in HOPES of selling for a profit.
I love your videos but I just have to mention that I had a very difficult time trying to get the store to give me the lower price indicated on their website. I had the manager argue with me that I was not looking at the same item, which I clearly was. I actually ended up ordering the item directly from the website for same day pickup in order to get the reduced price (original price $129, in store discount $119, online discount $79). I even did this right in front of the store manager who kept telling me the order wouldn’t go through. I was so upset, I wrote to Walmart. They apologized and said they would turn the matter over to the local store. The manager who contacted me was the same person who argued with me so I never took it any further since I got the price I wanted in the end.
I would like it if you do a video at the checkout. So we can see how you are showing the cashier your savings. Especially if you have a lot of items. That would be great thanks
@Jenny Aunt Jenny I’d like to the checkout process too. I think I would add each item to my online cart, so everything would appear in a list. I have a feeling my Walmart won’t honor it though
Take screen shots of price differences.. I take pix of shelf prices to ensure correct pricing.. some times the associates are asshats and dont wanna do their jobs.. dont get angry..ask for a mgr
Matt thank you for explaining how this works! Ive never understood how to get this trick to work and now as a single dad with a son who has medical problems that we have medical copays often and saving money is a MUST now I can use this and save as much as we can
This is great 👍 . Can you share how you lock the price in and what this looks like at checkout? Do you need to pull everything up so the cashier sees each item or does the cashier scan your phone? Thank you
Soooooo it sounds as if Walmart is knowingly over pricing items, which is a scam. No one should need an app to get the correct/lower price. Thanks for sharing the information.
So because this guy says one thing....he’s right? Don’t think so Walmart’s price match policy is online. They don’t do it anymore or even match their own stores or online prices. This guy is making it up as he makes videos
@@mehuntl I have pretty much exclusively bought electronics or video games at Walmart at online pricing in store for years now. It doesn't matter what their price match policy is actually because you don't have to ask them to price match at all. Just buy it on the site and choose In Store Pickup as your shipping option. I've even been in the middle of purchasing something and it scan at like $299, and have told them hold up a second - pull my phone out see its like $99 on the site and tell the cashier never mind cancel that. Buy it on the site for the lower price, walk back to the pick up area and wait on the employee to bring it back there for me to pick up lol.
Next time you go shopping at walmart try using the mobile app called PICKL, I use it occasionally to make some extra cash. The app pays shoppers $5 to take pictures of products on display in grocery store aisles.
@@thedealguy Help me out here please 😉... so I scan it on my app, the deal shows up... I go to pay...then what do I do ? show the app to the checker? Does it lock into my app? It’s that final step that I don’t understand 😏 I can see myself fumbling at the counter and holding up the line 😆🤦♀️ I’m not skilled at using any app like this ☺️
A friend of mine works at Walmart he says There’s nothing special just that Walmart updates and changes prices a lot and They update the online first before the stores it so much that the employees have a hard time keeping up changing all the tags He’s the one that told me about the app
The Blender had a $45 price sticker and right above it a discount $30 sticker. Of course the app trick still saved a lot just not as much as stated. Thank you for the video as this is good advice.
For the larger price coming down to a UK per low like $45 to $16 yesanager lost likely will need called. But not for the smaller differences like $15.88 to $12.88.
Same! I'm cool with saying, "Hey, can you please match this on one or two things, but what if you wind up with a cart full? Do you have to pull up everything before it's rung up, maybe take a screen shot before hand, what? I'm not so down with doing this, but don't want to hold up other customers or aggravate cashiers.
Thanks Matt! I just went to WallyWorld and got $6.99 set of 4 coasters Christmas themed marked $1.99 for $.99, Christmas gift bags marked &2.99, marked $1.49, for $.24! Stocked up on a bunch of Christmas supplies for next year, total original price $201, marked down price $128, app price $24.73. Super save!
I would love to see this happen where I live. Most attendants do not like answering questions, much less having to move or from whatever position they happen to be posted in. I have mentioned prices not ringing up what price is on the shelf and have been told they can't change it...and they don't. Most could care less
Our Walmart wouldn’t match their online prices. And it wasn’t for clearance or deep discounts. So, we ordered online, used ship to store for free pickup.
Gross, fat, and sloppy people. And if you look closely at some of their products, quantities and sizes are less, but prices can be the same as other stores. If the price is less, you may be getting less product too. So in the end, you're paying more for less. I go only if my options are limited and it's a last-ditch effort to find what I'm looking for.
I do the same thing in Target with their app. Scan every product, often times they'll have a discount on a category of items you can then add to your 'wallet'. Once in a while you'll get a lower price also.
For anyone watching this video now, or in the future; keep in mind that this video was made BEFORE CHRISTMAS. So, a lot of these prices reflect Walmart's 2 month-long black friday, and holiday deals.

Merry Christmas 🎄 to You & your beautiful family 😊
Save the items you scanned to your Walmart shopping cart, that way when it's time to check out. It's easily available to you to show the cashier at check out.
Though I have never tried this on my own, I have heard, on a number of occasions, people escalate price disputes up to the manager level and I have yet to see the store agree to accept the online pricing over in-store pricing. Walmart is very aware of the discrepancy, and their explanation is that it is cheaper online to account for shipping costs and sales tax differences. I would be very interested in seeing the check-out process where these lower prices were accepted.
@@Love_NiqueBianca No. Most likely a change In packaging , once walmart changes a package they will clearance out the old package for pennies on a dollar
Not the Walmarts here in South Florida. They literally mark something down $.26, slap a red "clearance" sticker, and people are foolish enough not to check, apparently. Because Walmart keeps doing it. They've also stopped offering items online or in store because they have online Sellers selling for 5x the price, and people commented about the bougie prices. F-ing Walmart.
I told mine too but the thing is he saves by not buying as much stuff we don't need and I find both things we truely need and some not so much. Kinda balances out.

But the whole point that Super Unsexy shows us, is that it will ring up that price automatically. I bought 10 shovels at 1.75, self checkout, just like Super Unsexy shows us.
@@thefreeman7132 he is showing the store price, and always reminds you to restart the app to make sure you’re at the correct store. I never see him deal with checkout for online prices. When I find the price lower online it usually takes a manager to come make the adjustment at the register.

Hi, as you scan the price, even it show cheaper, but it state that is online price, we are in store shopping, so how can you get the cheaper price while the staff deni it. Dont give me wrong, i like to save money too, im also a crazy fan of Dollar Tree and Walmart. So how do you talk to the staff that will give you the lower price that you scan?
Curious if this works on food at Walmart? Also, if you are purchasing multiple items you found at a cheaper price via the app, how do you show all of them at checkout without making the people behind you in line irritated? 😬 I want to try this out, but nervous about that
We have Fred Myers, but no Aldi, can you get deals online here. Thanks Matt and I love your both money savings deals and how entertaining your videos are. 🤩
Just one question. If everything appears to be cheaper online, wouldn't it be easier to buy the things you want online instead of going to the store or am I missing something?
I love your video's and find you a little bright spot in my day. What I like most is that you don't have endless chatter that doesn't pertain to the video, your to the point with many deals, you throw in a few corny Dad jokes and you show how much you love your family in the little things you do. So kudos to you for that!! Unfortunately, living in Canada we don't always get the same great deals as in the US especially at $tree. However, Wally World is a little different. Not sure if the scanning would help here, I'll have to try it out. However, many times when I check out the discounted things I've just gone over to the scanner and found they are much cheaper than the price on the shelf/ticket. I think they just don't have enough staff to keep changing tags so it's worth going to the scanner. Many times I ended up buying 5 or more of a product instead of the one I was going to get before scanning. Thanks again for all the work you do!🥰💕
Like another subscriber has said recently, "you earned a NEW subscriber today!" Recently Walmart had take ALL the "Price Check Scanners" down and they are encouraging people to use the APP. My wife and I thought it was a laziness thing on Walmart's part, but you just proved its benefits! It might become a game . . . !
I work at Walmart, and you’re right this is true, I seen this shopping at Walmart with my wife. I didn’t know her Walmart app let her scan, because I scan things with my Walmart one work app that I can clock in/out with and various other things like scanning items for locations and price, and my work app doesn’t show that lower price that sometimes is lower on the regular customers Walmart app shows. There is one thing that sucks about this savings you should know before doing this. If you’re not feeling like dealing with getting a manager to come override a price for you just to save a few bucks because you might be waiting a while, I’m talking like 10-45 minutes and in some cases even longer, and it’s not out of spite, the management at Walmart can be seriously backed up with all sorts of things keeping them busy or in a meeting with upper higher management and so on. Now if it’s like $15 or more savings by all means go for it, I probably would depending on the mood and spare time I can afford. I value my free time by a lot more than what I work for. My free time is very valuable to me because I rarely get it, and I know I’m not the only one with kids, and one of them special needs, and working full time, driving both kids to and from schools etc and so on. Great video, just thought I would give everyone some deeper insight and details lol, most normal people that’s not management know nothing about this, and you will have to possibly get into it with an associate that doesn’t know any better, so just be polite and prepared, and if you want the savings with lease possible hassle and waiting, just right away ask for a manager, and wait for one, because they’re the only ones that know what’s going on, and the only ones that can override the system and enter the price you have on your app. Hope this helps everyone, have a nice day 😉
You do not. SuperUnsexy goes over this in almost all his videos if you want more in-depth info. The app is showing you what the price for the item is in the store inventory so when you get to the register the app price is what will pop up when that upc is scanned. Essentially, the price tags on the items have not been updated, but the inventory pricing (seen in the app) has.
@@slurricane_ So you literally just scan it in the aisle and when it is scanned at checkout it has already been switched to the website price? That sounds amazing!
@shaunna knowlton they have to honor the price on the website… speak to a manager..don’t let them do you like that.. lol call corporate if you have too bc they are wrong for that!
I did this at my local Walmart. Not the app, but just showed their website price. They gave me the website price, but I had to argue to get it. Being called out and spoken down to by a cashier was something I wasn’t expecting.
Matt I love your content. How do you presenr your lower scammed prices at the register if therecarecseveral items? Do you have to scan each one agaon in front of the associate? Or maybe screen shot and present each?
I'd like to see a video of how to save money doing grocery shopping. I'm sure that's a video we would all like to see. Idk about anyone else... But THAT would be truly helpful.
quick question: does the app show a history of your scans so when you do go buy them you could show the cashier all the scans for the products you are about to buy
What you can do is create a list of your scans. On the product information page, below the price & purchase options on the left side of the page it says “Add to List”. Create your list by giving it a name & your item will be added. Add all of your scans to this list. At the very top of the list page you have the option for Walmart online or In Your Store pricing, you can switch back & forth. This is a convenient way to store your items scanned to show the cashier at checkout. Use the “Services” tab at the bottom of the app to find your “Lists”. Beware Walmart does not train their cashier associates on Walmart Store Policies. I ran into this problem tonight actually and while the girl was wrong...I just said forget about it & left her holding the item. I’m seriously considering printing her copy of the policy. Lol Because that’s the second time she’s done me this way. So it’s a good practice to read the policy before trying this little trick. Having it saved on your phone for quick reference isn’t a bad idea either. Good luck!
Just a heads up about price matching. Our local Walmart does not match the online prices. According to the store manager, they are not obligated to do so.😞
Don’t know if it will work try calling 1800 Walmart and let them know that the manger refuses to match the online price and see if it will get u any where! Just let them know u don’t have to shop there!!!! Good luck !
I can vouch 100% that this not only works but can give you savings beyond belief I was going to purchase a very large 50-plus gallon bucket in store at Walmart it was priced 69.99 When I scanned it on the app it came up for 10.99! And they did let me have it for that 10.99 price so I wound up buying three of them for less than the price of one of them. 🤯😉

If they don’t. You could always put them in the cart, and put you want to pick it up at the store, and buy it that way, and you can buy it for the online price. Yeah you have to wait, but they don’t take to long, and you’ll be there to pick it up
I was wondering about this, because it does specify “online price”. Even when I get my groceries curbside it says that.

Now people at Walmart know us or hate us 😂
Keep in mind that in order to get a price adjustment for items that are lower, it must be sold and shipped by Walmart.
How do you know if it's sold and shipped by Walmart if it's inside the store
@@sixpackbinky through the app.
Who else wants to go to Walmart and scan everything, just me...ok
One little tidbit of information he didn't tell you though with that trick, is that if it is a lower price online it has to be in stock, if it is not in stock online then they will not honor that price.
Me
I tried, only works on clearance items, but it’s awesome!
I did it and saved 50.00 off a crosley record player and saved 7.00 each on yankee candles!!!
Same!
I work at walmart and just so everyone who watches this knows we only price match if the item description online says “sold and shipped by walmart”
Does it say sold and shipped on the packaging? How will I know?
So if its not people shpuld just get it sentnto them with free shipping if they can right?
Petco does the same with their app, scan the in store item on their app and prices are way lower!! I’ve purchased $10-15 pet bows for $1.99-4.99 and $18-20 vitamin chews for $12 etc.
So they will price match to their app prices.
Great tip!
Thanks for this! Looks like I’m going to need to don the mask and shop in person again.
I had a bad experience with Petsmart, on the other hand. The price was twice as much. The manager tried to give me all kinds of grief. I told him never mind, I’d order it online for pickup, go run an errand, and be back in 20 minutes. He saw the light.
@@GraceCase it is PETCO
@@GraceCase
Yeah, I despise Petsmart!
Super unsexy is awesome!!!
This is a great hack! Thanks for sharing! I've been able to do this at Target too. They will have a lower price for an item on their app or website than what is priced on the shelf at the store.
Oh snap really that great thanks for the info
Yep that's how it's done I got a 10.00 6 pack of fancy beer for 4.50 doing this hahaha
Sense i work at walmart ill say that's a shady practice and they have all rights to say no or have you wait for a manager.
Super simple concept but love the way you showed tons of in-store examples. Really makes the difference in video quality
Also...I work at Walmart and all stores are so short handed at this point that it is TOTALLY possible that the item has been marked down in the system but hasn't been physically tagged yet. We stay behind because there's not enough of us. Lol
Where is your Walmart located?
I don't see them hiring, even with affirmative action being struck down.
I'm in East Tennessee
I purchased fabric for .25, yes twenty five cents per yard, using the app, I also purchased Pioneer Woman mugs for pennies. Don't remember the actual price, but I know it was less than $.50 each. Also had this happen at Target in their online listing an item was $12 cheaper than in store, so they stood by the online price. Really enjoy your episodes.
Can't get it to work!!
Target does it too?! 😮
If you're using the Walmart app it will 🙄
What did ya think he was searching Amazon and eBay lol
I just added too that many stores are not price matching any more either 🙁
Yes I work at Walmart and can validate this statement is how we are supposed to do it.
Wow! Very nice!
I would like to see you go to the cash register and use it!!

There must be great incentive for the manager to not want to change prices ie: bonuses. It’s not like it’s coming out of their pocket, or is it?
I've had the Walmart app for 2 years now and I never knew you could do this. Thank you I'm gonna start doing this process always.
I just love your sincere sense of humor. You’re so funny. Thank you for the laughter and great finds.
Id like to see the same
Take screen shots of price differences.. I take pix of shelf prices to ensure correct pricing.. some times the associates are asshats and dont wanna do their jobs.. dont get angry..ask for a mgr
You add the product to your cart and pull it up at checkout and show they will do the rest
@Jenny Aunt Jenny there policy says they only price march 1 item per customer per day

This is the question! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Wanted to ask this also.
I don’t know for sure but I’d put it in my cart and show it to the cashier.

This guy is entertaining and to-the-point!! 👌👍👍
Thanks for not dragging it on, with the blahs, blah, blah.

I would like to see how the check out process goes with the online price difference
I want to know too!
Starts with “can I get a Manager on register 7” ..... it ends 45 minutes later.
Exactly, there's a reason he left that part out, "Delia can you come to customer service?"
For the larger price coming down to a UK per low like $45 to $16 yesanager lost likely will need called. But not for the smaller differences like $15.88 to $12.88.
Same! I'm cool with saying, "Hey, can you please match this on one or two things, but what if you wind up with a cart full? For anyone watching this video now, or in the future; keep in mind that this video was made BEFORE CHRISTMAS. So, a lot of these prices reflect Walmart's 2 month-long black friday, and holiday deals.

My wife and I thought it was a laziness thing on Walmart's part, but you just proved its benefits! It might become a game . . . !
Oh my gosh. I have the app, and have had it for a few years and never knew this! THANK YOU!!!
@@AlinaRusakova7 Yes.
Man... at this rate, I'm gonna need a separate smart phone just for store apps...
🤣
😂 same
i end up deleting some apps..and then reinstalling them only for when I need them..then uninstalling them again.. its a big PIA tho
Hope this helps everyone, have a nice day 😉
When I get to the check stand do I have to give them each item price difference one by one (which can hold the line up) or can it be done all at once?
I think you need to make sure that your "current store" in the app is the one you're standing in.
KlinnC, I think ppl these days think they were all created equal!
My store does not allow this, they don't match online prices. is there anything I can do?
@@joanwalthour1520 My store doesn’t either. They don’t even want to match the price they have on their own website.
It's unfortunate to see workers work ethics these days.
I am wondering the same thing...
Probably not, but maybe you could add it to your cart?
No it doesn't
@@kingarthur8296 ok thank you for letting me know i just wanted to make sure because i don't think it's worth it if it's only for one item at a time.
Good luck !
Ours price matches the online prices
@@KDB122761 we not trying to do that extra work Karen
@@darrenchilds8980 Just print out Walmart's Price Match Policy and be ready to whip it out if they give you any flack.
If they're really going to hassle you like that, just buy all the items through the app, for immediate store pickup.
Thanks for this video. Question: how do you ring up everything? Do you scan every item and show to the cashier to get the price match?
Video would be more helpful if you video'd the checkout.
I can vouch 100% that this not only works but can give you savings beyond belief I was going to purchase a very large 50-plus gallon bucket in store at Walmart it was priced 69.99
When I scanned it on the app it came up for 10.99!
And they did let me have it for that 10.99 price so I wound up buying three of them for less than the price of one of them.
🤯😉
You are the best Mark. Thank you, thank you for what you do for us!
I think you are awesome and so helpful to all of us especially during these very difficult financial times! Also, for those of you that donate as I do during the year and holidays to all children and adult causes this month s a great way to give back! God Bless you and thank you for all the great tips you give us Matt! Vq San Antonio
I love this because my Walmart took out all of the price scanners to force you to get their app. I guess that backfired!
There’s a reason they want you to download their app, they’re getting a lot more out of you than you are from them
We still have them at our walmart
Mine did too!
Same here on that. Guess we shall be saving $$
The app always says what I’m holding IN MY HAND is not in stock and won’t tell me the price
I go there 98% time. THIS vid is a $$ key. I love this guy!
