I was in Fiji in 2003, serving an LDS mission and we were at a house they were watching the Pacific Islanders game vs. NZ. Sione busted out a long run for Try. I felt so proud right there being a Tongan. The announcer said Sione Lauki the Fijians at the house were like Tongan Power! R.I.P. Toko you was definitely a once in life time talent I put you up there next to Jonah Ofa from the states.

When I was about 11-12 years old in Rotorua, my family and I decided to go in and eat at McDonalds.
I remember this really large man, even bigger than my already large dad, just chillin in his own booth, chowing down on his food.
He was so monstrously big that I knew he was some kind of exceptional being, and I think during the car ride home it clicked that he was probably Lauaki.
Lauaki was certainly playing for the chiefs in that year and he matched the description,.
