Okay, but can we appreciate the perfect (lucky) timing of the adept shade mine dodge at 19:36??? So satisfying to watch, even if it wasn't purposeful.
"Checkers feels like it could be an american sport, with how poorly designed it is"
~Harstem 2022
Do many Europeans feel that American sports are "poorly designed"? That's kind of interesting and funny. Why? What are the common European gripes about American sports?
@@shavais33 Basketball, and American Football require extreme physical advantage over the opponent, all super tall, like you can't really be an NBA or NFL if you're not way above 6ft. (there are a few shorter NFL players but very few)
European football, the two best players in the world, one is Messi he's 5ft5. Other is Ronaldo he's 6ft1. There are many short players in European football, same in Rugby, Tennis, Golf, Snooker, Cricket, Fencing, Badminton most games are designed so anybody can compete without a disadvantage based on height. (There are exceptions like Volleyball)
@@shavais33 That's my perception at least. Although I do think NFL is really, really cool, would love to play if I was taller lol

I was about to hit the like for this comment, but you already have 69, and I don't want to mess it up.
Laughed a lot with that.
This could also be considered SCARE quotes:

"Yeah... Nice..."
He deserved to win because:
1) protoss
2) higher mmr
3) higher APM
Opponent should have just left from the start. Clearly those numbers matter more than macro or decision-making.
Strategy in a strategy game? We don't do that here
Crazy right.. I've watched enough SC2 to know that everyone including pro players can lose a game to someone with a couple hundred less MMR, in fact it happens pretty often.
22:50 I saw a chart of action per screen time for sports, and by far the lowest on it was baseball: 1%. You spend 3h+ watching it, and only 1% of the time is really stuff happening.
Yes, this is why professional baseball is able to have overweight, out of shape people in the major leagues. Very low exertion
That's why baseball is a sport built for radio, and why fans of baseball really love the announcers. 2/3 of the broadcast is the announcers just BSing in the interminable intervals when nothing is happening.

also: he didn't just use his adepts like it was 2016, he also tried the original toss deathball from 2005 (or sth) :D
protoss should just get coop zeratul disruptors kekw
@@synka5922 hehe, yes, obviously ^^
The unit comp he had at points is not really an a-move style army and thats why he lost. If he went storms it would have been better for him. Using disruptors and blinking units with 2 armys with a prism is super micro intensive, even in a death ball.
Imagine being ahead all game and actually having 200 more APM and just not bothering to make more disruptors. Disruptors are goldmines in every matchup. The effort to dodge them is taxing to your opponent and basically becomes a must have vs expensive and fragile bio balls.
I do agree that disruptors are the way there, but they are also as taxing for Protos as they are for their opponents. If you look away for a split second and the bio blob stims to firing range you are dead. The disruptor will just easily get sniped before the nova goes of.
Yea it complicates the Terran micro from simple stutter stepping to adding in splits and making them careful with how and when they step forward. Terran has a lot of things they can set and forget so they only micro bio so you need to make that difficult if you want to win engagements.
On the other hand, you can always kill more of your own units than your opponents units with disruptors.
A lot of people don't like to use disruptors because they are quite micro intensive, risky and often inconsistent in how much they kill. I would certainly love to have lurkers instead, fill the same role but constant DPS from safe spots.
@@zuruumi9849 all i tend to do is throw a nova out either defensively or as a zoning tool and let it do its thing. If they want to dodge it then great. But the risk for them not dodging it is way higher than me just lazily throwing out novas every few seconds.
Fun fact- he has nothing in production from 15.15 to almost 16 minutes, while he banked up almost 3k minerals AND gas lmao. Wonder why he lost.
tbh he was just coping at that moment, he knew he already completely lost by 15.15

You got the Empty Fort strategy a little wrong.
The Zhuge Liang version of it is fictional, it never happened.
The real life version was done by Cao Cao against Lu Bu.
This is one of the many edits done on the Records of Three Kingdoms when it was adapted into Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Many feats done by Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were actually done by someone else that later got editorialized.
This is one of them.
Other such edits include things such as Zhuge Liang stealing arrows from Cao Cao using straw boats while in reality this feat was done Sun Quan.
There are also characters that never existed in the Romance version such as Lu Lingqi and Diao Chan.
Ministry of Truth working overboard
I heard ya boy kongming is also a proficient rapper
@@Mankepanke What are you talking about?
Records of the Three Kingdoms is the historical telling of the events.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms is the romanticized propaganda version of the events.
The Three Kingdoms took place at around year 160 to 280, or so. Romance of the Three Kingdoms was written in the 14th century based on the Records from that time and this Empty Fort is one of the differences between the two tellings.
If you're going to accuse me of something, you better back your claims up.
@@ExtremeMith5 I think you're referring to the battle between Zhuge Liang and Wang Lang? Historically speaking this seems to be a complete fabrication.
The only known correspondence between the two is a letter from Wang Lang to Zhuge Liang urging him to surrender, which Zhuge Liang ignored. Wang Lang died in the year 228, so Kong MIng did outlived Wang Lang as he died in the year 234.
@@Caldera01 I was comparing the propaganda arm of an empire of doing the same thing that the propaganda arm in a famous book based on current year did in that book.
Beating grand master with stupid stuff "could a gorilla do it?" - get as much apm as possible (not effective) (because I am not as good as you, figure out when and how apm mashing will work in gm. Enjoy. And thank you for all your work.
You used to be able to artificially bloat your APM by pressing and holding down alt+1 (or whatever you remapped your remove from and creat control group hotkey) with a bunch of units selected. You get a constant 10k+ APM when you have it held down. This was removed in...2021 I think?
I once played a game with an average APM of 5k doing this shit.
Fortunately for Harstem's sub count, there's not a lot of overlap between Baseball/Football and SC2.
Im fine with Harstem dissing baseball or thinking American football is boring, but 100% American football is the chess while football(soccer) is the checkers.
@@kurtdupree1254 That's a really good point. Think about it. In football the players are all different and have different powers. You've got a QB whose power is throwing the ball with incredible accuracy, power and finesse. You've got receivers whose power is being 6'6" and running 40 yards in 4.5s. You've got linemen whose power is eating a whole Christmas ham in 15 minutes. That's not even to mention that there are different role players for offense and defense on the same team, which doesn't even mention the special teams.
Meanwhile in foozball, you've got the goalie whose only power is that he can touch the ball with his hands. A power that every player in football has, so it's not even really a power. And everyone else is the same. Just a bunch of guys wandering up and down the field, wondering if they're ever going to fulfill their only purpose: literally a goal. But probably not, because, like Superman without his powers, everyone has been denied their basic function (using their hands). Even the clock can't tell time.
And yet he complains about American sports. While making a living playing a game invented by Americans.

@@reinux I am included in that group. I'm at the same rank you are. No shot I'm submitting an imba complaint where I failed to use the most powerful part of my army. Especially if I mention that I watched the replay 4 times. If you can micro the disrupors well enough to keep them alive till they stack to 6, 7, or 8, theirs not a single ground army that can beat you. Shoot your shot and send it home if you must. Let your stalkers and zelots tank its escape, try to save some units with blink. I have come back on more people to count doing this. 2 robos can produce fast enough combined with a couple warp ins, that you can trade poorly and still keep a constant pressure on 2 fronts. I use a mouse with 2 side buttons for my thumb, and I bind those buttons for 1 and 2. Click the mouse hotkey, shoot 2 disrupor shots, switch over to the other amry and shoot 2 shots, pulling them to the back of the army after each shot. If you can do that while blinking back weaker stalkers and warping in from a prism, your almost cant be beat. I actually only switch to tempest if I see the opponent go into turtle mode. Hope to see you on the lader lol.

There's that friend that always brings up *aqueducts* , when someone mentions Italy.
That's just like that guy that in every Zerg game brings up, how much he likes *macro-hatches* for people that can't macro that well.
"I don't mind you building a few *macro-hatches* , if you don't know, how to spend your money otherwise."
As an American, I have always held that the only sport more boring than baseball is soccer AKA football everywhere but here.
I'd still put American Football up against Rugby as a spectator sport any day of the week.
Sometimes in history someone brought up on Beasty's channel that in WoL I think you could research an upgrade that would raise starting energy of HTs to 75 so you could warp-in and insta storm. He said that's what's actually giving him PTSD lol
Yeah I miss Khyadrin Amulet
I really enjoy whatching Harstem's videos as some comedy show series. So relaxing...
I want to know if saving that probe in the beginning was worth losing a chrono boost.
we didn't really talk about the fact that this guy's macro is really poor and is probably an issue that extends to many more of his games. At 20:43 when he attacks he has a bank of 3000 minerals and 1600 gas. If those were units he would just a-move over the Terran no matter if he lacked disruptors. That is a recurring theme throughout the whole game. The other thing is him attacking the terran at his base without a warp-prism for reinforcements, which is kind of unacceptable as warpgate reinforcements are an absolutely crucial necessity for attacking (or you will very easily lose heavy-tech units like colossus/disruptor/templars). Poor macro, no warp-prism for reinforcements and no 2nd robo I believe are major things that lost him the game, aside from many other mistakes that were already pointed out of course
I was indeed shocked to see how poor his macro was, for someone in Master. I literally spend my money better than him, while being in Silver. I don't do fancy stuff with my army, though.
It's so funny, someone told me about the aqueducs in Rome literally just yesterday.
Romans you say? Funny you should mention them, did you know that Romans were really advanced for their age and that they actually build this huge tall stone like kanal structures which caried water over long distances and different terrain types to supply their population. Kind of insane when you think about it.
"your gimmick is like peeing yourself at 9'o clock" got me laughing
Baseball is what happens when you take good wholesome fun of hitting a ball your friend throws at you with a stick, then adding a bunch of unnecessary rules to decide whether or not you're winning and can thus 'enjoy' hitting a ball with a stick.
I do early plus 1 in diamond and love it vs terran haha but that's probably why I'm diamond

“ADEPTS 2016!!!”
The thing that got me is he was out trading his opponent well outminfing with most of his main fights I understand what he means bc it feels like terrans can make more mistakes then the toss but u have to remember that big mistakes matter and u need to be able to be consistent I think the argument should have been Terran has op turtle which I can understand tank ghost bio pf feels sorta unbreakeble as a toss sorta hard to blinding cloud when u can’t. Also immortal dont work so it’s a very hard balance for a lower player meaning not a pro
In most fighting games, the players with the highest APM are typically beginners (or small children) who smash random buttons as quickly as possible and hope it works out.
I love u man, u made me laugh so hard!! i laughed thru all video!!!

If someone hadn't played a game of starcraft (online 1v1) since broodwars, which race would you recommend starting with? Played the campaign a lot chasing achievements and I have the basic understanding of which units work best vs which units and things like that. Lol there's obviously always more to learn, but my issue will be mostly mechanical. So while I'm building up my macro/micro/multitasking mechanics what should I play as?
Just try all and you see what is the funniest.
Different people just resonate with the play-style of different races in opposite ways. A lot of new players try Terran, but I just don't enjoy playing them (for example). So you, as Slim said, just try whatever seems fun to you and be prepared to switch if you don't enjoy it!
Might as well roll with zerg then. Played random most of the time in bw, but if I had to choose zerg -> toss -> Terran lol. Terran is a beautiful thing when you see people like maru, clem, or my personal favorite gumiho (dude is just so random) playing it. Lmao but for me even in campaign there's so much shit to keep up with. Especially transforming your tanks and libs to move a little and re-siege and also move your bio but not too far or your tanks kill them and medivacs and use your raven and or ghosts, don't forget to move your tanks and libs! It's just too much haha
Zerg is super fun when you get into an engagement while massing up more lings and broods to just swarm the area and just roll through everything. It's a beautiful sight lol
Zerg has very different macro mechanics to Protoss & Zerg and is the hardest to learn for new players. Terran is typically easiest to learn but yeah play what you want. Unit counters don't mean much at low leagues - learning macro build orders and watching pro games is the best way to learn.
19:20 same as macro hatch monologue
This "Adepts 2016" killed me!
the empty fort stratgegy that's a burn lol
22:12 Uh oh... is Harstem getting canceled?
I think he is pretty safe. I would not expect many baseball fans among SC2 viewers, i am on Harstem on this Sc2 is way more interesting to watch than most what i call traditional sports ( oposed to E-Sports ), baseball included. But weirder things happened so who knows :D.
I refused to believe this is a master level game. That army movement and decision of army management is basically back pedaling. protoss is the strongest A move troops race. And What he did is basically my first starcraft experience back in 2002. He move the army under the enemy guns without Attacking command a lot.
“Hyuck! They two shot. Haha” 😂
If he had thrown down the gates after the first drop he had 2 more rounds of units with like 6-8 gates he could afford at this time completely thwarting that first tank/mm push.
However handling the fight contrary to what harstem said was pretty execellent as the player here was very concious of the tank sieging time and range and only got hit once onto his army by it thus preserving larger losses even though being outnumbered heavily.
7 guys love baseball and american football so much that they disliked
listening to Harstem’s stories you learn he has a lot of friends, a lot of weird friends.
"-I've been in Italy!"
"-Oh!! Romans were there too!"
Well... no shit, Sherlock XD
I can confirm that gorillas and chimpanzees are better mannered than most Terran enthusiasts. Terran enthusiast here btw.
Tbf they also have better control than most Protosses
made like 5 disruptors and 2 novas were used
Disrupters are imba late game
Obviously, since they are the only thing that prevents Terrans from emping and then stimming down the Protoss,as shown in the above game. Clearly imbalanced.
The sarcasm from above aside, disruptors do have their own counters, like siege tanks and liberators. But not the hard counters anymore like viking/ghosts. Which is why they are necessary.
21:19 ALL shields got blasted, and he moves in? What?
I'm an American. I'm somewhat proud of it, even though, admittedly, we don't seem to be much good at playing StarCraft. I'm not particularly fond of baseball, football, or apple pie. But we've made some pretty good movies, I think? And we've made some pretty good music. Some of us have made some pretty good food, and, by gosh, we've made some pretty good video games - like StarCraft, for example.
USA ( i assume that is what you mean by American ) its such a huge diverse nation. I am from Europe but i regulary watch different youtube channels about what is going in USA. In my opinion the bigest things USA did for the world is play one of the key roles in diverting WW2 into the what most people consider a right direction and after that provided a nice place for all the worlds scientists and tech people to gather and work on technology advancement ( silicon valey and so on ).
So if you want to be proud of something you can be of that... altough pride is a weird thing for me but I will not rant about it right now :).
I wish you to figure out the curent differences that arised as a result of cultural diversity so things calm down a bit, some harsh things happening recently. Regardless of what side of politcal spectrum you are on things are very devided i would be woried to live in USA even though the standard is suposedly really good at some places.
As for Starcraft not sure why you would say you are not good at it there are good American SC2 players out there, the ladder i think is considered to be less competative than Europe but even if behind Korea and Europe 3rd place is still pretty damn good. Especialy if you add Kanadian players together which play on same ladder.
Oh and i also just realized USA has at least 2 ladders right? East and West? While Europe has 1 ( i think? ) did not play in a while that will also play a huge role in how competative the leader will be and player skill as result.
If you compare the USA and Europe it is just a numbers game with Europe having more than twice the amount of people and with culture of Europe and USA being the most similar ( "Western World" ) you would be expected that whoever has more people will have more players and more good players and more competative ladder.
+ also the ladder thing which als ads to the density.
And then you have Korea which is a special case because their culture gravitated a LOT towards esports and was very ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to transitioning from traditional sports towards E-Sports and arguably still has the best players of Starcraft 2 out there even with smaller number of people ( but quite possibly huge amount of actually players ).
Still to my suprise South Korea only has 5 times less people than USA i tghout they are not such a big country. You learn something new every day.
USA is important for SC2 though ( like you said actually and important to me ) because even though because of certain circumstances not many amazing players there right now :
1) SC2 was actually made there which is more important since.. well no game no players at all and no amazing E-sports to follow
2) funding and marketing to keep the e-sports going.
Without USA influence there would be no western market, there would be no english streams covering the game and that would be...
quite quite sad. For me anyway.
So yea USA Is important in certain ways if that matters to you even if you just check SC2 ( so movies, music pies or anything else aside ).
Cheers!
Actually Neeb used to be the god of SC2, and seems to be in good shape again, and Astrea is pretty good and inventive as well.
@@firestarter000001 I think both Neeb and Astrea can take down any other SC2 player. Some of them less likely than others and it does not happen often against the top ones but it still can happen.
@@TheNeomare Thanks for the very interesting reply! Huh, so Europeans don't commonly refer to people from the United States of America as "Americans"? Yeah "pride goes before a fall" and being or even sounding all puffed up or arrogant is sure never desirable and. Even pride in one's country is.. maybe.. questionable at best.. but I don't like the idea of centralized anything, I'm sure no globalist, and while I don't like the America presented to the world by maybe a majority of today's Americans (or at least the most vocal ones), I'm a passionate patriot in the sense that the ideas of the founders still pulse through my veins and resonate loudly in my ears; as presented in things like our constitution and our bill of rights and our declaration of independence and the Gettysburg Address..
ua-cam.com/video/6JbC8a1tU7o/v-deo.html
..and so on and so forth. The whole notion of free markets and limited government and protection from monopolies and.. etc. and so forth, all the incredibly important stuff they don't teach kids in school anymore and the whole world seems to be rapidly forgetting all about! But now I'm really getting far afield, lol.
My only point in response to Kevin's bash on America's "poorly designed sports" (?) was that gosh, there wouldn't be any SC2 without America! =D But I suppose that's just as knee-jerk-silly (since its entirely irrelevant) as the idea that sports as designed by anyone are anything but silly to begin with.
@@shavais33 you are welcome :).
yea had some time on my hands so i wrote a bunch of comments to get some conversations going to see if i can get an interesting exchange, maybe learn something new who knows :).
When Europeans say Americans they usually refere to citizens of USA yes, otherwise they would specify more precisely but I wanted to make sure just in case.
Pride is a tricky thing indeed.
I agree that pride in one's country is questionable. Its like taking credit or feeling good for something you might or might not be partially responsible for. It would be really hard to say if your daily actions go in favour or against the favour of things that your country eventually ends up doing since it is a very complicated system. Its ironic, sometimes you can be proud of something that you might have undermined by doing something that you would never guess is connected at all. Unlikelly but possible. Anyway complicated system.
What matters is good intents though.
However.
I like the second thing you say, that you are passionate about the founding ideas and the consitution. I like the wording of that. It reflects your ideals and how you would like things to be even when things are not turning out that way. That is pretty good.
I am not super familiar about the constitution of USA but the bits and pieces that i do know as well as the conflicts that happened, their results and the reasons that were behind them i can totally respect the notions of morality that I agree on. Free market, limited Goverment and protection from monopolies is something i stand behind for sure. Because the alternative is what? Dictatorship, Monopolies, evil and greedy getting even more advantage than they are now. We still have ways to go but at least we have an idea where we want to go. It is nice that is is written in the constition of a powerfull country. Gives at least some hope for the future.
Haha yea. You can write a book about this subject.
Glad we crossed paths, i wish you a great day, week, year, life! To keep respecting and being passionate about the ideals that resonate with you and share them with as many as you can because we do live in troubling times. For me pride is complacent and selfish while respect and passion are optimistic and engaging.
Cheers!

Eh, watching this game kind of underscores the frustration some P may have in the PvT matchup in terms of tech and what is expected. Firstly, it wasn't a matter of tech. The Chargelot/Blink Stalker/ETL Colossus is HIGHER tech than MMM. If anything, building vikings and ghosts is just meeting the P's level. Telling P (through design) that they have to switch to disruptors is saying: We didn't like you being able to compete on even tech, so we made this different unit that is harder to use, less reliable, can't fight head on and doesn't work well with most of your other units. Enjoy.
How did he get into master is the better ❓
Harstem touched on that, really good basics: Economy + upgrades + early to mid macro. It is safe to assume he wins most games where he gets ahead like that even though he falls of later on. Also probably a reason why he never built a second robo or transitioned into distruptors probably or put down most gateways he is rarelly in that kind of situation. He either gets ahead and smashes the oponent or gets killed by some kind of early game cheese and rarelly plays beyond the point where he has to tech switch.
+ also regardless of all the adept thrash talk they did help him get ahead.
+ aparently he is also decently fast.
i guess getting into master is not to hard if you are fast enough and know how to play to your race advantage and have clean build orders and somewhat decent understanding of the game.
I remember back in the day when i spammed games as terran against a protoss RL buddy of mine. I had a decent edge against him he could not really take me on even though i played by feel just reacting to things going on and trying to counter what he was doing.
Then he copied a 4 gate rush build which was a bread and butter back then and he practiced it so much that i imagine he came very close to what is considered optimal.
My aproach stood no chance because my build was not optimized and the game is fairly balanced i would have to do some very specific things to stop it so he ended up stomping me a lot with it.
Ah the good old days.
But anyway back to my point sometimes if you have a very strong lean opening you can win by numbers alone even if your decision making otherwise is not the best.
So that is why he was able to get into master.
I think!
All I want in life is for a past opponent to submit our game to this
Why don't you submit your own game? You can't be worse than some of the crap people have sent in.
@@maemorri Haha, I have! But I'm talking about wanting the ego boost of someone complaining 😅
can you not call me out so hard about the roman aquedukts pls ?
that one kinda hurt.
Also i know more facts about the romans like
Sometimes the Romans would flood the whole Colosseum or Circus Maximus for a boat battle.
Ancient Rome used to be covered in graffiti, just like today
yaya
Yes and Cricket is so much better. How do you do the score for that again? Or for darts, tennis, badminton. I have tried to look it up once upon a time but it made no sense.
I don't understand you. You're saying you don't get the score system of baseball, dart, tennis and badminton ?
Silly traditional sports they work as nice recreational activity but for top end play i always pick esports ( especially Sc2 ) over traditional sports.
Tennis is very interesting actually and in my opinion not in a good way. IN theory the game can last well.. forever? or until 1 player exhausts... at some point in the game in order to win a lets call it a "POINT" ( game ) one of the players needs to have a 2 round advantage which means if they are tied and they keep going back and forth it can in theory never end... That is a pretty big flaw in my opinion for a competative sport. But that is the traditional rules and if they ever changed that the sport would get a really big hit soooo.. they do not do it. Coupled with some other rules the tennis match can go from under an hour to multiple hours. Organisational hell.
Never watched badminton but i will assume rules are similar.
As for darts i think that one is actually pretty clean. Not to bad actually rewards precision, there is a board which has some complicated but clear rules how much each area scores. Not very fun to watch though.
Never watched cricket.
Lets just face it unless you are a fan traditional sports are just not very fun not much is happening a lot of times...
then you have Sc2 where at times so much is happening that i wished there was 2 observers and 2 screens i could watch at the same time :D. OBservers are some of the unspoken MVPs especially if they are good covering the most important things when they happen.
We are lucky to have SC2.
Cheers!
@@TheNeomare ok thank you. and yes in those sport it could last long.
Also i would say in american football too much is happening at the same time (at least for a non veteran)
@@florent3723 SC2 is pretty nice to watch if you think about it even for a non veteran. While traditional sports have very complicated rules and rullings have a human factor there is no such things in SC2. The game is a referee and the concept is simple, each player makes stuff, they clash one will do better and win. Yes under the hood is complicated what each building and unit does but you can learn and explore it and increase your knowledge piece by piece as the game ramps up.
Meanwhile if somebody who never watched especially something like american football might start watching the match and things start going crazy from minute one and it is really hard to start to wrap your head around what is happening and why.
@@TheNeomare If you're completely new to SC2 and RTS genre, you get lost too. You don't know what is happening and why.
I mostly agree with you and add one of the good thing for esport is it's actually easy to play (and with that understand the game) compare to traditional sport (you need a special field, and enough player at the same place)
Europeans play HAND BALL. HAND BALL. Let me repeat that one more time: HAND BALL. It's the children's version of basketball.
You have no place to complain about American sports.
He is dissing not complaining and dissing baseball in particular if i remember. Do you enoy baseball? Compared to basketball? Its such a weird game to me.
Europeans play lots of stuff Basketball included, Basketball is actually pretty cool.
Think why baseball did not really penetrate most of the world and you will get why he is dissing it ;).
If you are a fan though keep enoying it, thats alright.
I enoy this amazing game SC2 and most people in my country think that is super wierd and childish to prefere watching somebody else playing a video game rather than play it and then they proceed to their TV screens to watch football or soccer if you will. not the american one. Altough that might be a better choice as i hear its more deep and complex.
But anyway!
To each their own i guess and that is 100% alright :).
Cheers!
How zealots and distruptors fit together?
They don't really if you want to keep those zealots. But it's fine if they are throwaway units.
@@Leonhart_93 I m asking cause Harstem suggest not use stalkers and use zealots but also distruptors. For me it looks error. I DIDNT send replay I m just thinking ...
@@TheTykk I think those are like 2 different statements that you combined together. He said zealots were better for him because he was wasting away stalkers due to poor control. Zealots do indeed have like twice the DPS and are tankier vs tank/marauder.
@@Leonhart_93 How can you use distruptor balls if zealots are trying engage, you are going to kill your own zealots?!? Right?
@@TheTykk You can aim for the center mass, not the front line. The thing is that zealots die very fast anyway once they engage, so if you actually hit the army because of them they kinda did their thing.
ay man i have a new video idea
there is a copy of starcraft2 on roblox they rilly made it good it has only terans for now and its simple but

I love how people still think havin more apm is more important :D
in fairness, all protoss air is bad against vikings.
Can I suggest a dark mode or at least another color for the imba form? Is it just me or my eyes hurt.
Maybe I'm just a night goblin
checkers is a great game
NA ..i knew it would be jokers
Fun fact, baseball was actually invented in Canada. But, as an American, I totally agree. Our sports are quite boring tbh. I really don't understand why they are so popular
Basketball was invented in Canada. Googling baseball shows it was invented in New York
@@jellystones72 basketball was indeed invented in Canada. Baseball was too, but only conceptually, and it had a different name. Baseball as a formal sport started in New York.
Its a cultural thing. Tradition is something that is very hard to break. peer pressure and so on. Helps in any kind of social interaction not to be a weird odd one on the side and so on...
SO a lot of things are popular because of tradition, peer pressure, culture, upbringing, marketing and not because they are necesarily a quality product.
But passion is only important. For somebody iw ould be much happier if they have some passion ( even baseball which i never felt like its something i could watch ) rathern than not to have any passion at all.
:D
Hamster, whats my comment MMR?
Off the charts!

heh, getting a couple stories mixxed up there: the "empty fort" thing happened a few times in several countries, the basic idea is that if an invading army can't actually afford to stay long then if you can make the fort look like it is at least somewhat manned then they aren't going to bother with it and will instead go find an easy target, this has lead to several instances where less than a hundred men sucessfully held forts against full-on armies simply by running around doing their absolute best to make the place look fully staffed.
the folktale about the musician is less provable but still at least somewhat historically plausible: the mayor of a small city/large town (one of those places that has been around for centuries so it's extremely well established but never had a reason to grow past a certain size) got news of an army marching towards them while effectively 100% of their own militia was off putting out fires in the surrounding area, now normally in that sort of situation they would just surrender but the army that was coming had a reputation for being more than a little murder-happy so after the appropriate level of "we are so screwed" panic worked its way through his system he decided that their best bet was to bluff their asses off.
dawn comes on the day the army is supposed to arrive and they open the gates up as normal and our dear mayor sits his but down on top of them and goes about the stereotypical chinese nobility routine of practicing the arts with some refreshments nearby while intermixed with the occasional interruption for dealing with business, when the army finally comes into view he and the rest of the town just keep going about their day as normal, when they show up he just keeps on going about things like normal which weirds the commander of the army out until they send someone out to talk, Mr. mayor greets them informing them that he's been waiting for them all day and has the tea set brought down and sets up a proper formal meeting right there in front of the open gate to talk to the increasingly disturbed commander, they eventually work their way through the formalities/pleasantries with the mayor keeping calm and acting completely normal and the commander growing increasingly nervous and certain that this HAS to be a trap, when they finally get to the point in proceedings where they can actually talk about the business at hand Mr. mayor runs through the motions and just sorta turns the whole thing into a normal pitstop for basic supplies all while the commander goes from nervous to trying to do his best to get the hell out of the meeting with this nattering old coot and get his army out of there before they get squished between a city and an imagined incoming army.
same basic idea really: keep up appearances well enough and opportunistic invaders will not see you as an opportunity, this one just so happened to be pulled off with zero military.
Had to be one of ours....
