I agree, Jordan 1s give the same vibe by the way they crease. The leather quality is insane! I think black laces would be the best option for them, I’m not sure why they came with white instead of black!

Great video. Wish more content creatirs did more wear tests instead if just the same run of the mill sneaker review covering the same details as everyone else. I love wear test videos especially for pairs im reaching back for. Some pairs afe really well while otgers almost become a different shoe altogether.....in a bad way.
I tried both the white and the mahogany colored laces on my pair. Didn’t love it so I explored with my giant stash of extra laces I got from buying other sneakers. I’m currently rocking very bright orange laces from a Nike Pegasus Trail I had, and I like how that makes the 990v4 look like it’s dark orange and not just brown. I’ll test drive black laces next!
@@samdopkosky Just walked around the house in the shoe.. they're pretty comfy! Taking it out tomorrow for a spin to break them in! if the 990v4 with full leather is this comfy can't imagine how the normal version would feel like. Will definitely grab a regular pair as well! thanks bud!

I just bought a pair of these exact same shoes today, at Marshalls for a great price! $149 canadian, so like $108 USD. They are very soft, not stiff at all! Maybe they enjoy summer more than you thought! 😂 Also bought a dark blue 990v3 and a black MiUK 991 for the same price today! Couldn’t pass these deals up!
I can't imagine how exciting it would be to find a 990 especially this 990 at a Marshalls! I have been wearing mine quite a bit this summer and have no issues with the overheating! So enjoy yours all summer! You have found some absolute steals!

They also had the 998 in a chocolate brown with green mesh, and a gray 996 as well. Last week, they had some 990v6 from Teddy Santis season 4 (the burgundy, as well as the sepia colorways, which I bought, of course!). I don’t know about US locations but in Canada, TJX stores are mandatory stops to find New Balance heat! What’s next, collabs? 😵💫

The red can be a lot. I would recommend any Teddy Santis 990v4 or v6. You can never go wrong with the grey 990v4.

It really is the perfect new balance haircut🤣 the ventilation isn’t that bad, but it’s defiantly not as good as a regular 990 with mesh.
