How would you say this piece relates to some of his other pieces in terms of difficulty and musicality? Such as his ballades, etudes, or other scherzos?

I find this scherzo personally as difficult as any other ballades or scherzi. The hardest here is to play the light passages descending from above in the slow part 🙂
