    Using the alcohol inks, drop method, is my favorite way of using alcohol inks… I see you are also using the Collaboration Resin with Daniel Cooper… he is the master of the petri effect using alcohol inks… I hope you give him a shout out somewhere in the video,..

    Thank you for the tutorial! Can you cast small pieces resembling jewelry and place gemstones in them? How about a mini Christmas tree with micro lights embedded?

    I see you're wearing the nitrile gloves. Are you wearing a respirator while working with the resin?

    • @LETSRESIN
      @LETSRESIN  11 місяців тому +3

      A respirator would always be recommended. ☺️

    Very helpful video. I am very new to resin. I recently purchased your Lets resin UV resin kit from Amazon and also received another at Christmas. I have also purchased the kits with the epoxy resin. I am curious about the bookmarks and the pens in particular. Can I use the UV resin to make the bookmarks and the pens? Thank you for sharing ❤

    • @LETSRESIN
      @LETSRESIN  4 місяці тому +1

      Glad it was helpful! I recommend using epoxy resin to make the bookmarks and pens because it would not easy to cure if you the UV resin. 😊

    Iam new working with resin, i loved all the pieces, but what about the bubbles i saw or the parts that are not fillrd with resin for example in one of the bookmarks?? How do you fix this? Also, can the pens be used like this? They are square on one side, how can you write?

    Shoot, I've been poking my little bottles (pigments, alcohol inks, dyes, etc) with a thumb tac straight down the tip. Should I be cutting them instead? I mean, the thumb tac works wonderfully but will there be an issue sometime in the future? 😰

    • @LETSRESIN
      @LETSRESIN  Рік тому

      I don't think it will be an issue as it's also one of the many ways to open the little bottles, for me, cutting is much more effort-saving🥰

    Can you use UV resin instead of the 2 part epoxy resin?

    • @LETSRESIN
      @LETSRESIN  5 місяців тому

      UV resin was cured by UV light so it's more suitable for small crafts. 😊

  • @thegiftroom8249

    How long does it take to cure

    • @LETSRESIN
      @LETSRESIN  10 місяців тому

      It will take 8-24 hours to demold and 2-3 days for fully cure.😊

    When I work with dried flowers, I do not put them into the resin that they are going into like your book mark mold dry… I will use a small cup with some resin in it and soak the flower in it, making sure it is completely coated with resin… then I will place it in The mold I want it in, and finish filling the mold up… this will prevent air from getting trapped under the flowers and leaves… generally speaking, this is a good way to insert any sort of object like flowers, leaves, pictures,stickers, etc…

    • @LETSRESIN
      @LETSRESIN  Рік тому +1

      Yes thanks for mentioning that! We commonly soak the flower in the resin first when the flower is 3D, for dried flowers in this video, it was compressed into a paper-like shape so they are less like to get air bubbles😉

    You dont use a mask ? Is this non toxic?

    • @LETSRESIN
      @LETSRESIN  10 місяців тому +2

      Our resin is non toxic but we always recommend wearing a mask when you work with epoxy resin!
