I always get baited into watching these "you're fishing it wrong" videos. 🤣🤣🤣 I've had crankbaits and jerkbaits with the 150 degree offset trebles put on wrong from the factory.
Hey TJ! Great video! I'm pretty new to fishing and some of the topwaters, cranks and jerks do not look like they have great hooks. Do you change most of yours out? If so do you use different sizes or pretty much go with the same size for all your baits? Definitely going to get me some of these hooks and pliers. Thanks...
Depending on the brand you should swap out hooks . Also , depending on what type bait changing hook size can effect the baits action . If I do swap out I try to keep the same size hooks
Hey TJ, those are some pretty sweet hooks. I buy a lotta cranks without split rings or hooks. Like to put my own on. Well, guess where I’m headed next🤔 Thanks for this👊🤘💪
Great video!!! Thanks for sharing that tip on putting on the hooks!! Looks like you put on a few treble hooks before!! lol On the bait sack, do you just reel up the slack or use the slip the line in the little hook under the sack?? I usually have the line hooked but wasn't sure if I really need to do that. Thanks Buddy!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!
Have you found there is a limited amount to times you can open a split ring for treble hook change outs before the split ring gets weak and is no longer tight?
I don't have a count on that, but as long as they continue to close up tight, I'll keep using them. Using a good pair of split ring pliers makes a huge difference. The Texas Tackle split ring pliers are the best ones that I've used.

My pleasure and I appreciate you watching brother! 👊
I love the owner stinger trebles. Yes that can be put on backwards but this allows the hook to work effectively when properly attached.
Right on! 👊
Great video. Love the short explanation videos always !!!
Solid tip and walk through. Thanks for the video TJ81
Appreciate you brother! 👊
Great video TJ, I have a few baits that the hooks need to be replaced. I'm going to give these hooks a try!
Right on! 👊

If the hooks are trash, I'll swap them. Usually stick to same size or same size, but a short shank. A size 6 and 4 are the most common.
Great video bro! Never new you could put treble hooks backwards?!?! Thanks for sharing
Only these ones as far as I know. Appreciate you man! 👊

How does the hook bonnet work on those hooks?
It does not.
I'm a fan of yours no apostrophes or capital letters
Appreciate you! 👊
If you just use the skoushi bug like big mike you don’t need to mess with treble hooks lol
🤣🤣🤣
