I love how people say idk about that and try to find any reason for it not to work lol cause Terry Bolton is a rookie and don’t know what he’s talking about right 🤦🏻♂️. Thanks for the great info W2F simple tricks out of the box like this make the difference is catching and not catching.
Only problem I see with this is you have to completely re-rig everything when the fish tears up the fluke. Otherwise its a fantastic idea and I'll be trying it this weekend
Well, wouldn't it be easier to have a pin and cut an eye on it like on a sewing needle? Then just feed the line thru the eye and poke it thru the plastic then tie the treble hook. That way you don't need to keep messing with rivets.
I love creative mods like this. I experiment all the time with different rigs, baits, etc. Nice!

Sweet!! I’ll use this from here on out for open water and the Butch brown rig for Huddleston/big swim baits on bottom !!
I Love using flukes, it’s my to go lure. Where can I find a rivet just like that one? I Love the idea!
Great tip,Thanks for posting
Yet another great video.
Thats a great idea thanks for sharing
Sweet video - what size rivet would you recommend for this?
Why the split ring?
A sewing needle large enough to accept your line through it's eye works great for threading line in soft jerkbaits also.
Awesome trick
Thanks for the tip
I assume the split ring is to stop the hook from going inside the rivet. What size split ring?
Do you use a crankbait rod for the treble insted or a medium hevy fast action
Works awesome
Genius

Great 👊👊👊
I think he means size four hook 🤣 and i’m not sure what the split ring does to help the rig

That's clever
I like the idea of a little extra weight in the nose
I think he meant a #4 hook. Lol
