I love this show, really touch me.
Hey I love your interview with Big JOE BEV HE'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE GUYS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 👍🏻
The man Joe Beaver
Best. Interview. Ever.
One of the best afternoons ive spent in a long time.
In the late 80's early 90's in the northwest I had a similiar attitude as Joe I was the same age and same size as Joe. As a local I'd help at Canby, St Paul. Mollala etc. Joes example was the main reason I became a team roper. He showed me that it was ok to be yourself, have fun and be aggressive/competitive. He is correct we all used to be more competitive about everything back in those days in every way. We can throw out our cell phones and social media and have it back pretty quickly.
Joe B is the reason I started rodeoing when I was a kid. He was/is a hero of mine. This was a great interview!!
This is the best interview I think you've ever had it came straight from the heart 👍👍
You have to love joe beaver. He keeps it so real. Been there and done that exact same thing. Including the drugs and alcohol
JOE B!! Always one of my favorite people, I say people because I’ve known him and Jena 20+ years and roped against him and watched him and as great as Joe was as roper… Joe is always a great dude no matter what . Great interview 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Joe B and Ivy have such similar stories and they both could tour around as motivational speakers. She had volleyball all in front of her and through bad choices on her part had no future and her volleyball career disappeared. She realized something's got to change and the comeback has been amazing. Same with Joe B although he fell from grace after he'd already reached the mountaintop once. This episode is so good
In 1985 I saw Joe B drive up to Rodeo in Licking Missouri 3 tires on his trailer old bumper trailer made it in time to loop his horse a little and won the rodeo 😀
I spent the last two hours in my office charting (i am a nurse practitioner) and weekend warrior who now lives to watch my rodeo queen kiddo do her thing. WOW - the best podcast! I love listening to JOE!
Joe, represents two sides of the RODEO world. Haulin' is not for the "Faint of Heart". Joe has become a mentor to the KIDS that want to make a LIVIN' AT IT. Rodeo has seen it all, I used to Drive using BB's and Dexatrim. Hair was on FIRE all the TIME.😎😎🤠🤠
Much love and respect from your fans in the Southern Hemisphere Nz Joe B ⭐️🌎❤️
Hands down. Truth. Joe Beaver is as real, honest, energetic and committed as a cowboy can be. This is one of the best UA-cam videos I've watched. Maybe the best "The Gauge " imho.
My Favorite one to date!!
This was a great one! Joe B is a Legend
I loved this interview!! Thank you!!
Only podcast I’ve ever listened to consistently. Thanks
I initially thought I'll watch a little of this just for the hell of it. I have to say I was glued to it. Awesome interview, awesome subject, awesome outlook, awesome personalities. Anyone even remotely involved with the sport should take the time to watch!
This was the beat episode yet. Great job on asking good questions Chance!
Will always watch u!
# 1985!🙌
I loved this one man
I went to a school he put on in Mineola, Tx & he was awesome & great with all of us. This was back in the early 90s
Great interview, Loved it , a lot of Truth told her ...
The absolute best interview you have done! Joe Beaver is the Ambassador of rodeo.
Wow. That was awesome, just the best. Greatest man to get to motivate and get kids on a solid track. That was such a great discussion. High fives to all three of you!
I'm a truck driver that hauls livestock ill come on the show- lol- good idea Joe
Best episode to date! You guys are killing it.
Great podcast as always!
This is the best interview.... Not just for roping but about the barrels and rodeo in general.
hey joe I remember you from way back, I lived in El Paso for 15 years and use to go to the old collisiem there in El Paso tx. I’m 72 I hauled cows out of El Paso and in to El Paso to the old Peyton packing plant.
OUTSTANDING
I remember getting to meet Joe Beaver at the US calf roping finals in Athens. I patterned my calf roping off of joe because we were the same build. I do believe in Joe as a warrier, and a true practicer of the fundamentals.
Joe B passed me on 287 many years ago I was running 75 I bet he was going 90
Wow! On 287? Way too fast to be safe!
Great interview.
Loved this! Thank you for bringing Jenna in on it! I felt her testimony!
I agree Chance when you said the drug/rockstar stories are interesting but not only that there are people struggling that need to hear that side of some of the folks like Joe because they can be an inspiration for overcoming the struggles also. Good podcast.
Joe b is a real pro
I am 64. I grew up with a rope in my hand. When I wasn’t working my ass off on the ranch we were trying to pay for. I drove 180 miles a day to go to college and carried 18 hours a semester ….when I was 31 so my kids could haul. I was a trauma nurse. Then had a heart attack and died 3 times. God brought me back and he gets all the credit. I’m going back to breakaway. May not win but gonna try. I love this podcast.
Awesome....
I have 2 heros, joe b and clinton anderson both episodes were amazing keep doing what ur doing!
Definitely the best podcast episode I’ve listened too 👏🏻
What a terrific interview
Best interview I've ever watched the man who built the house for ropin today!! Groovy channel dude
I love Joe Beaver. And he truly knows the game. Daddy was a pro calf roper in the 50’s and 60’s. He tied 300# calves and more. His horses stopped hard and he did well. It gets better if you listen to The Beav ,!,
It takes alot of brain power to overcome what the 80's an trying for that college road on a dad's ranch hand salary. We worked so hard 😃🤠 an now ya have a sponsor or 2 an ya get. To do what ya Love ❣️ skateboards ropes whatever your talent may be! Do what ya Love an do what ya Love!! That is America! We have the Freedom to make that choice!
You tell them Joe B is callin 😋🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 @The gauge you neec fred and cody, jake and clay
I could not stand Joe B until this I have changed my kind
Moe
Joe beaver has a gift I have roped at Fred's place and roped at joe's place they are nice guys
Quit lying you goofy you never roped at Freddy's place
I remember when a guy would win the world and only made 80 grand for the year look what they make now
You probably remember when gas was 50cents and a new truck was $15,000
You guys are so right, rodeos up here in Canada are breaking all attendance records.
Embrace the haters, embrace the suck, buy'em lunch and be on your way to success.
Buy a cripple horse, an older horse - shoe'em right and get on your way to success.
I used to breed, raise, train and show Paint Horses in Texas. There was a Linda Beaver(s) there who showed Halter Horses. Unlike us, to her money was no object. I heard she used to be married to a man who went on to rodeo. Was it you, Joe?
JOE fuuken Beaver yes sir
Joe’s right about the younger generations being thin-skinned. People joke about about millennials and their participation ribbons, but there’s a lot of truth to it.
My only question for him is if his sponsors paid for the coke, that stuff really wasn’t that cheap in the’80’s.
I doubt rodeo will never have another year like 1985, Joe, Jake, Clay O, Ote, and Lewis were as good as it gets.
You'd really have to be void of empathy towards animals to do that job.
