If you like Dio's vocals/lyrics and Iommi's guitar playing then you should listen to the song "Over and Over" from Black Sabbath's 1981 album Mob Rules. It ends up being absolutely superhuman.
Geezer Butler the bassist wrote most of the lyrics before Ozzy got fired. Dio wrote all the lyrics once he joined the band in 79. 1980 was an awesome year for metal.
A great reaction, well done. Dio's singing is great. Tony Iommy is not just the riff master but such an amazing all-round guitar player, he can do everything so well. What a fantastic solo.
I don't know why I haven't commented to your reaction before, I've watched it many times. you really listen to and appreciate Tony Iommi. He is a very special guitar player. It is a heavy song but at the same time very beautiful. Tony is my favorite guitarist/music creator and he IS Black Sabbath. And please accept my compliment Andre, I find your wife Dominica to be very beautiful.
Black Sabbath is hard rock on your way make your great story forever ….feel great each days when you play Black Sabbath …..magic moment on your mind :] (y)
Thank you! Sabbath was originally a blues band. This is one of 2 great heavy blues tunes he did with DIO. The other is "Over And Over" from "The Mob Rules" album.😉
Great,great song.....its got everything, energy,soul and a mysticism....and a heavy drive throughout.....hauntingly brilliant......a song about suicide.........sad but somehow uplifting.
I wouldn’t say Tony Iommi is one of the great guitarists in Rock but what I will say is “this solo IS one of the greatest solos I’ve ever heard”. The emotion and depth is fabulous. IMO Sabbath were never better than they were with Dio, a perfect match.
Dominika is correct a dark heavy ballad. A musicians life is the life of a lonely traveler. For many of them. The fan adoration is a brief respite from the loneliness. Then on to the next show always working towards the journey home.
This is the first B/S LP without Ozzy Osbourne. When this singer, Ronnie James Dio, formed his own band, he got a Deútsch-American, Claude Schnell, for keyboards for the band and he was on tour first, then played on the 2nd LP, "The Last In Line".
I friends , 👍 , Tony iommi is legend ! I recomend Black sabbath álbum" Seven stars " 1985 song heavy blues " Heart like A Wheel" , amazinng solo blues ! Cheers from Brasil 🇧🇷🤘🍺 keep safe 🇧🇷
Hi Lovely Couple - many of today's major guitarists rank Iommi as the God of Guitaring. I may have some exception to that with the likes of Richie Blackmore, Dave Gilmour and Eddie van Halen. But he sure is an innovative and extraordinarily accomplished player.
Awesome song from an awesome album, but I have to disagree about the lyrics. I much prefer Butler's: they are simpler in form but pack more punch. Still, the sound here is just epic. I look forward to you listening to more Sabbath from the Dio days!
I saw this and before I clicked I thought, I will Cry. Thank you.
It was only a few years ago that I discovered this is Tony's favourite solo he has recorded. I've loved this one for 40 years.
Thank you for getting to my request so quick! Hope you two enjoyed the song as much as I enjoyed the reaction!!!

Tony Iommi once said this was his best solo ever.
best metal singer who ever lived and a very kind man You are so missed Ronnie
even if there were no words, this song would still sound like loneliness.
tony and geezer captured the perfect mood and emotion for this.
Sabbath with Dio is as iconic as Sabbath with Ozzy.
Facts ! 🤘
Another great Tony Iommi (eye-OWE-me) classic performance. Jordan, good selection, you beat me to it by a couple of weeks!
A great reaction, well done.

This is one of my favorite sabbath songs ever.magic
Iommi''s feel and emotion along with his technique are one of a kind. He's a special guitar player.
So many beautiful solos in one song. Amazing 👍

I`ve seen Sabbath twice and met Iommi at a guitar show. Got his autograph, really nice fella.
Epic song & one of Ronnie’s best performance’s, one of my favorite’s !
That’s what i love about music. Two people can listen to the same piece of music. But they can have a totally different experience.
Iommi can do the almost perfect marriage of metal and Blues. In my opinion better than any other guitarist that i have ever heard.
Jimmy page can also do it
@@sobhimahir7085 you probably want like this comment. Because my opinion is Led Zeppelin = Rock, Black Sabbath = Metal.
@@shspurs1342 no i my self fan of black sabbath since 50 years and i agree that iommi is one of the best guitar Players in all time

Love this song ❤❤
She's right !! Tony's awesome !!

Tony plays his guitar in drop D tuning which by its nature gives a deeper heavier sound. He's awesome!
You gave me a laugh, and also a truly honest and enjoyable review...thank you!🌞

If any song ever existed this sings fits me the best
Recuerdo escuchar y alucinar con esta gran canción el año 1980, yo tenía 16 años.

I would like to request a song from Black Sabbath...it is "Neon Knights" . My favorite metal song of all time by Ronnie James Dio and Black Sabbath.
Check Sign of the Southern Cross.
My favourite Ronnie James Dio song.

Pink floyd with darkness
most probably
Iommi is all about feel, technical but not virtuoso, he is a household name with an iconic sound, and has earned it the hard way.
