We all make fun of NC's in the miata groups, but its jut that, fun, dont think there is any real hate for them. NC has superior mechanical grip among all of its siblings, there is no question abut that. Ideal track build roadster would be NC3 with carbon HT. But in the end of the day, popups are popups, cant beat that :D

Also a FIst with an LSD on stock wheels is a real sleeper on back roads. Thanks for an amazing coverage on the event wish I could have gone.
I wonder what's causing the shifter to pop out like that. Duct tape bushing comin in clutch tho. The rally miata's one of my favorite WRX builds on youtube lol i'm still so impressed every time i see it
ok so the rally miata looks good but maybe some stow away doors for the rain almost like the older jeep canvas doors and i noticed that the fuel jugs are blocking the tail lights

For my fellow e85 guys.. there’s actually a station outside of Knoxville that has e85 It’s a Casey’s on the corner of i140 and 332. About 30 min from the start of tail. The e there was impressively good.
IMO the Moonshiner28 is funner than TOD. On the Moonshiner you can stay in 2-3 for most of the run as to the dragon youre mostly 1-2 (depending on your build). And less traffic ! Lots of fun roads in that area. Check out Back of the dragon and the gambler. Also Cherohola Skyway for scenery P.S , stop by Wesser NC and eat at River Edge and play in the Nantahala River

Just purchased a miata keychain my man. I went there for miata meet 2 weeks ago and had a blast time there. I have a blue miata like you too. Would love to meet you in person one day there.
Definitely need to lock that shutter speed at 1/60th instead of 1/125th of a second; There's not enough motion blur. Also, make sure it's in all intra-frame mode (All-i on canon, XAVC S-I on sony) for smooth motion, especially for anything action-y.
Caleb, as a fellow blue miata owner and ND owner I think you have to drive a ND2 miata jusr to see what they are about and give you a perspective on thr newer generations
It’s my daily. 145k miles on it as it was in the video. It’s got a tad bit of Chicago rust and wheels coated in EBC yellow brake dust. Honestly I was kinda ashamed of how it looked for the drive, but I’m glad it looked in on camera. 31mpg average over 140k miles on 93 octane.
@@slandon1977 yuuup, had mine for a lil under a year now and even with stage 2 93 tune in easily getting 30-35mpg even with intermediate hooonage. I felt that rust, I’m from Saint Louis Missouri XD my 2018 only has service rust on a couple spots but Ill take care of that soon !
I love the fiesta st it’s a little monster. I have a explorer st because I work construction and need the room for tools but it has a focus st sized intercooler that heat soaks HARD💀
I know two amazing roads that can match the Tail. But, in the age of the internet, there’s no way I’m mentioning them. One of them is already pretty well known among older California motorcycle club racers.
That may be the case. I was leading because I know the roads better, but I was also carrying around 10 gallons of ethanol on jugs in the back, so I was only running about 7/10ths max. Next time we go up, I’ll likely be mid to back of the pack unless we are on a road that nobody but me had been on before. Also, speed is hard to convey on camera. Caleb and the crew will have to give their feelings on if I was holding them back or not. Won’t hurt my feelings.
Caleb remember when you put a fuel cell in the crumple zone of the Eclipse and everyone said it was a terrible idea, how did you think it was a good idea to fill the back of the rally Miata with fuel jugs, if someone rear ended you it would be mayhem!
The Fiesta shares a platform with the Mazda 2, which has been called the "FWD Miata". So it sort of belongs among the Miatas. Also, as it is a Mazda based subcompact, you might say it IS a better Honda Fit. 😉
I have a 2004 Subie STI and I’m wondering if Rallyata has the same omnipresent understeer. Like, in dry weather, all the traction in the universe. The car goes where the wheels point. In the wet, the car goes where the car point.

theres an e85 station like 40 minutes north of the dragon, its not as bad as the video makes it seem. (still wish there were some closer though)
