Thanks for your useful video brother. It is better to remove the all the excess water and oil in the engine by removing drain plug first and then towing is best.

On the other hand towing vehicle owners are charging enormously more than the cost sanctioned by insurance agencies (RSA)to tow such vehicle to service station taking undue advantage which is a fate of car owners. Govt may regularise the fee structure and monitor with regulatory body in this situation to safe guard

Our Skoda Kushaq got stuck in recent chennai flood water this time, didn’t crank initially but managed to push and halted the car at some safe place.
Since many ppl/videos from social media media has advised not to crank engine, we tried for RSA in that heavy rain but no luck as we were unable to reach anyone in network issues due to heavy rain.
After 20-30 mins with no option in hand, tried starting the car and it got started luckily without any issues. We drove back the same way we came and somehow managed to get escape from that area.
Am not expert to advise anyone to try to crank their engine, rather just sharing my own experience, and I was lucky that time.
Risk is huge in such cases

Pushing the car or towing the car in neutral makes no contact with the engine, once you engage the gear the connection between engine to wheels are established.

I have doubt. Is the car is new or old model If the car is new (3 months old) it should have the warranty and Insurance, why they choose the outside mechanic to repair this? Don't they know the company warranty will void?

I never new it could be so fragile? by compressing water the piston could bend by compressing water ....I was thinking it is bcos of the sand particles cin the water tht enters and causes the problem
