The Finnish language is one of the hardest in the world to learn, with the hardest being Japanese. Not only because Japanese has Kanji, Katakana and Hiragana but its also often written vertical and sometimes vertical then horizontal. 🤣

@@Kat-mu8wq for me personally Finnish is the hardest 😂 I tried to learn/explore Finnish, Japanese, Korean as well Chinese, but the most challenging one was definitely Finnish lol

@@Kat-mu8wq As a linguist who speaks Polish, graduated Korean and know some Japanese (+ during my studies I had to learn hanja which is basically kanji, sometimes even harder cause some characters simplified in Japanese and Chinese are still used in traditional version in hanja) in can tell that even though Korean and Japanese are both isolated languages, both are very similar in terms of grammatical structures Finnish is still harder. Korean has the hardest pronouciation out of all these languages, but when you start learning Korean/Japanese after some time grammar becomes very clear and logical. Chinese characters aren't as hard as some people say, the longer you write them the easier they are to learn. Even Polish is harder to learn because of it's very hard, complicated conjugation and grammar, and it gets even harder in Finnish because this language has 15 different cases, quite crazy grammar and it's from totally different linguistic group (together with Estonian and Hungarian). Unlike Japanese and Korean, which have intonation that you can easily learn with some speaking practice, Finnish always accent first syllable, which also is quite unique and hard to learn. It's easy to read in Finnish, but the language itself is very hard, and even though I speak fluent Korean I think it's impossible for me to learn speak Finnish.
