It saddens me when people don’t always realize that behind the cheery image there’s such a sweet and insightful little man. I wish Jere all the best and hope people wouldn’t treat him like some random mascot you could take pictures of whenever you want. He has given so much for us already. 💚 I saw him before the Allas Sea Pool gig and told him that ”I don’t need anything from you but a handshake would be nice”. He seemed surprised and was so nice to me. 😊 Though I short-circuited a bit when he was so close and talking to me. 😂

I know how you feel. When I got the chance to meet him I did ask for a photo (actually I didn't even ask for it, because I couldn't speak, my friend did), but I had this feeling I wanted to disturb him as little as possible. I had so much I wanted to say to him, but all I said was "Thank you" (I did emphasize that with a curse word 😅). Maybe he thought I thanked for the photo, but I meant EVERYTHING. The meeting came up by surprise so I couldn't mentally prepare myself. He was so nice. And he talked to me more than I to him. But maybe next time I can say a few words more. And maybe get that handshake. 💚

It’s no wonder with the amount of gigs he’s doing during the summer. The pace must be exhausting. I’m glad he had such a loving family and great friends. They’ll look after him. 💚
I don't think most of the people here were mad at him about the whole apartment situation, but rather the city of Vantaa. There are humdreds of people that have been waiting months in line for an apartment, yet we give an years of rent paid apartment to an old housing investor who hardly is struggling with money. That is what people were salty about.
I am so extremely proud of the work that Jere had done this year at Eurovision and afterwards, and I recognize the need to "pay" him in some way or another, yet I think there would've been better ways.

There should be a new fan trend that starts with käärijä, where if a fan sees him in public (not in an event or a meet and greet) they dont go about taking pictures but instead just walk up to him and salute him or does the namaste thing or just a basic bow or sum like that, it would be so funny but nice, cause it’s a way to show respect but not make it so much about what u want from him instead of what he has given to us. Meeting ur idol should be about showing respect and gratitude for what they do and not about asking for more and more.
Tho i get that getting a picture or an autograph is a big deal sometimes but maybe do that when it’s clear he’s on the job and not when he’s minding his own business and having a private life.
