Abigail Shrier and I discuss identity, gender dysphoria, the increased rate of gender transitioning procedures among young female adolescents, details of these procedures, de-transitioning, her personal experiences writing her book “Irreversible Damage”, and more.
Abigail Shrier is a frequent contributor to the Wall Street Journal and author of Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters. Abigail used her experience as a journalist to interview a wide variety of experts on the explosion in the number of young women self-diagnosing and taking steps to transition to male using hormones and surgery physically.

Grampa's golden advice: "Don't use a permanent solution to fix a temporary problem."
I
WISDOM 🙏👍❤️🇨🇦
@Amy h
To assume that it's permanent, when you're 13, is not only shortsighted, but just plain wrong. A person's body goes through great hormonal changes through puberty and the teenage years. To apply a permanent solution, during those years, would just as likely, cause great physical turmoil causing conflict between the artificial changes and the normal, natural development that we all go through. Allow your body to do what it is supposed to do and if that doesn't alter the urges towards dysphoric feelings, THEN seek medical solutions. That would be the common sense way to proceed.
@@JackHaveman52 Absolutely!
@Amy h indeed dysphoria is based in self hatred and doesn't go away even with a "permanent solution".
Exactly!
This woman is rational, professional and caring. She's lambasted as a fringe lunatic.
We're fucked.
She has courage and gains my respect
I am actually hopeful that people like her do write these books. 5 years ago I thought I was the only mental person to object to these cultural phenomenon. Now, I feel much more secure in my thinking because of these people like her.
The lunatics are the one's who lambast her. We live in an upside down world.
The stolen election did that, too. Yes, we're totally fucked. We were sold to the CCP and others.
But... we can lift the load that is "restoration of America" and carry it.
THAT'S NOT NOTHING.
Don't quit. We're fucked. But we're Americans. We don't quit.
Now now...don't be nihilistic! lol ;)
Never fear, the truth will win out as long as we speak it.
I was a tomboy, wanted to be cool like the boys.. if this was happening at that time I would have been so confused. I am a woman, when I went through puberty, I realized that I am a woman that likes boxing and sports and feminine but not the strict feminine stereotype. I am married to a man and have children, and I feel whole. I am so happy that this was not happening when I was a child.
cause you think just liking sports and being kind of a tomboy is enough to get kids these days classified as trans? people are not rushing to make this a snap decision, despite what peterson et al are trying to make you think.
@@jasonclarke7557 You are deluded if you actually believe what you posted. Study the issue more. This may not be happening everywhere but it is definitely happening way to often in some areas of some countries.
Well, being a tomboy is not being transgendered, so there you go.

I wasn’t sure that the medical professional would really do this. I conducted my own experiment and told the doctor I identified as non binary. The words were barely out of my mouth before hormone therapy and mastectomy were offered as therapeutic options. I nearly shat myself. It is truly terrifying what is happening to the human species. Thank you both for your truth and bravery.
Big pharma and healthcare industry is behind this bigotted ideology. Billion dollar industry it is now.
Jesus Christ, are you in the UK? Curious to know under which healthcare provider this was.
I’m curious to try this myself just to see. Woah imagine if I tried to sneakily film the exchange on my phone and they do immediately start talking about potential “gender affirming treatments”. Now there’s a viral video waiting to be made
@@HeyItsKora heck yes!!!! This is a genius idea!!!!! My 18 year old son is going through this horror right now. I would love to expose the fallacy of this bloody gender ALTERING care.

I don't think it really hit me until now that Jordan Peterson almost died... We almost lost him. And he survived....... I feel so much gratitude. He is a precious treasure in our mad world.
His wife almost died too. They're a family of survivors.
Yes. I am so thankful that they are both with us. I just found Dr. Peterson and am thrilled to follow his videos and conversations.
I've been thinking that for the past few interviews. You can tell he's still recovering from what happened. I really hope he regains the energy he had just a couple years ago, but right now, I'm just happy he's back, especially at a time when his voice is really needed.
Me too!! Very important man.
The upshot is that these mixed up girls will wash themselves out of the gene pool with sterilizing "treatment".
My sister, who had depression and anxiety, also blamed gender for her personal problems. First, she said she was gay, then she started dressing more masculine and asking for teachers to refer to her with male pronouns. She was also very active in following troubled trans youths and young adults on social media, taking in all of the community’s struggles and internalizing them as her own.
My mother and I tried to work with her to help her straight out her academics and personal problems like poor hygiene and diet. A teacher from her school called CPS to investigate “abuse,” which is what chores may seem to a moody 15 year old. What they found was a messy room, a hard working mother, and more than a couple of lies.
My sister ended up committing suicide. In her note, she claimed to be gender fluid. After years of blaming myself for not helping her transition, I now realize that she was suffering from severe depression and led astray by our bastard society, social media culture, and other immature teenagers who believe they know more than the adults who care about them.
RIP MC
Another sad and tragic case sanctioned by the insanity of over-educated idiots.
@@janiecepoush1904 I think that their depression and internal confusion clouds their understanding of their inner value and value to others. People who commit suicide have got to a point where their sense of reality is warped. Whether it’s to spite, to hurt, or to help loved ones not suffer with their “burden,” it’s all under the influence of a twisted sense of worth.
Thank you for your story. I also believe that we will get to make everything right in Heaven.

Ouch, what a horrible thing to have to go through when you were so young, and awful for your mom as well. I'm happy that you have gotten past blaming yourself for it. Reality is often very complicated and not so easily and nearly defined and addressed.
I think her statements are very powerful, Im a 17 year old female and I met someone who identifies as trans when I was 14, last year was so close to start identifying as genderfluid before I realized how honestly insane it would be. Im so thankful I found other people who don’t agree with all this gender affirming rhetoric and brought me back to my senses. If I had decided to transition that would have ruined my life.
If only more teens were as smart as you. Congratulations for breaking through the lies being pushed on our youth. I'm glad you did your homework, so to speak. Always question what looks like a group of lemmings.
I’m a old Christian man who’s going to be adding you to my prayer list. In spite of what you’ve heard throughout your life there is a God who loves you and gave his life for you ! All I’m going to say is don’t believe what people tell you about God ! All I ask is you pick up the word of God the Bible and read it for yourself and come to your own conclusion ! As an old man who’s been saved by the grace of the God of the Bible and who used to live very much in the world and indulge in all of the many pleasures of sin ! Trust me I tried everything once , twice if I liked it. I went to church with my parents until I became a 14 yr old teenager and smoked my first joint , which lead to many other drugs and alcohol and eventually addiction ! I also lost my virginity at age 10 with a fourteen yr old neighbor girl who had recently moved next door to our family home. I can tell you from experience that after that moment nothing was ever the same and it was the only thing I constantly thought about and which led to so many other problems throughout my life. I was raised in a Christian home and after doing what I had done felt empty inside. I stopped read my Bible and started living in the world constantly trying to fill that void ! No matter what I did I felt wrong unhappy and empty inside. It wasn’t til age 30 that I asked God to forgive me for all of my sin and turning my back on him. But he never let me go ! Today I’m an old man , married to the same beautiful woman for over 33 yrs and counting. Nobody’s perfect young lady and I told you all I did to let you know that in spite what the world my tell you , that the Bible isn’t real and it’s nothing more than a fairytale couldn’t be more wrong ! It is the word of God ! All I’m asking is for you to pick it up and read it for yourself. Because God will change your life forever ! Just know that there is a real God who created you and loves you very much. And I hope that you’ll pick up a Bible, start in the book of John and start reading ! I promise you that it will change your life and your eyes , heart and mind will be opened ! Know that this old Christian man will be keeping you in all of my thoughts and prayers. Trust in God ! Believe in God and read Gods word and I promise you it will change your life forever and you will then know what Gods purpose is for your life. God bless you young lady and I’ll be praying for you and yours !
So glad you didn't. It's all bloody bonkers!

This interview could have gone a completely different route. Dr. Peterson could have sat there, asked questions that only affirmed Ms. Shrier's propositions. Instead he sat there and tried to come up with all the possible objections. He's basically stress testing all her propositions. That's how we're supposed to think - he's said this repeatedly. This is something I've been trying to incorporate into my own life for the past couple of years. Really enjoyed watching this.
so true! I completely agree with you and its something Peterson has mentioned many times about acting on an idea with full conviction; you should throw every possible attacks/counter-opinions and see how they stand
And he did it in a respectful but very challenging way. Great dialouge. Challenging the person's theories/opinions/conclusions, not the essence of the person themselves like so many jump to attacks these days. Not sure if I made sense but thanks for another great discussion.
Yeah in a way their roles were reversed and JP being the scrutinizing journalist asking tough questions. If an idea stands up to intense scrutiny, it's pretty damn solid.
That basically happens when a Scientist interviews a Reporter 😎
This is why I so appreciate Dr. Peterson's work; this is a model for how constructive conversation goes wonderfully.

@@jupitard thanks. I felt that wrong when I wrote it. I corrected it so others don't make the same mistake.
My daughter, who has mild Asperger’s, told me 8 years ago that she wanted a full mastectomy. She was online a great deal and communicating with people from this fringe type of thinking. She was 16 at the time. We had very heated debates about this for years, and I told her to wait until she was much older before she made such a life changing decision. I prevailed. She is now 24 and is very happy with her body; and has not mentioned the surgery again. I strongly believe that parents have a huge role to play in guiding their children through their teenage years because we have life experience and know that teenage angst and confusion is temporary.
I'm glad your daughter saw the error of her teen years. Props to you for sticking to the tough, but correct path as a parent. I wish it'd be outlawed for public schools to spread this nonsense of the woke agenda. The garbage woke professors are continuing to teach kids today is dangerous. Taxes mostly fund public schools. The left often cried about separating church/religion from state, so God was taken out of the pledge of allegiance. Now they're pushing their woke religion to brainwash kids into believing these issues as discussed in this video. They're hypocrites.
Agreed. I wanted to be a boy when I was little so I would be able to stand to pee. My mom admittedly had the same quirky desire. When I was going through puberty I developed fast, and I hated my breasts. If someone would have covered a reduction, or mastectomy, I would have been first in line. Friends of mine had slightly larger chests, and their insurance covered reduction out of necessity I suppose? I remember being so so envious. Those feelings didn’t last beyond freshman year though. My own son told me when he was 6 that he wished to be a girl. I just dismissed it the first time or two. Eventually I decided to probe more deeply. When asked why he wanted to be a girl he explained he wished to have babies when he is older. Once I explained to him that daddies are no less important, and the babies are no less theirs, he was completely okay with his gender.
But there has to be communication between child and parent.
Also, I have aspergers, and it really is the least important thing about me, as I don't value how my brain processes things differently. I just do. It never ever comes up in conversation. It is no ones damn business. And it does not debilitate me. The way they fake it, is so cringe. Non of their behavioral patterns or thought processes align with actual Aspergers. They literally act socially awkward and shy. Which has nothing to do with the way I am.
It does not make me want to become non binary ( just because I dont value gender in general, does not mean I don't need one anymore to make myself feel more mentally stable lol). If you're emotionally/mentally unstable, just say that. don't blame it on Autism.
It does not make me want to dye my hair to a rainbow, it does not make me stim all the time and make me wanna be on tiktok and show my stimming toys like an cringe worthy infantile adult. Like, how dare they portray people like me as some Quirky weirdo that has fragile feelings and can't stop ranting about quicrky stims.
Why act like people with autism can't handle the world. WE CAN!!!!!!! We grow up, and we adapt as well as we can. Man, it just bothers me so much.
It is so rediculous.
Thanks for sharing. I hope you might be inspired to spread your story as far and wide as possible. This is important. Lives are literally at stake here.
I had to fight incredibly hard to have a hysterectomy at 26 due to disease (I was surgically diagnosed 2 years prior & had suffered with severe chronic pain since age 11). I went to countless doctors in several states. When I finally found one that listened to me & realized the danger I was in physically & mentally, I still had to see psychologists to make sure I knew what I was doing & what it would do to me.
It blows my mind that now doctors are willing to do this surgery on young teens It’s absolutely insane.
I wanted to be sterilised a few years ago. My doctor looked shocked when I asked her to refer me for sterilisation. She told me I'd need counselling.
I changed my mind and got a coil instead.
I'm glad now that I didn't go through with it.
Its incredible isn't it. A biological woman who doesn't want to be a mother will not be given a hysterectomy in her early 20s because "you might change your mind" and yet teenagers are being given life changing, irreversible treatments. This is going to be such a scandal 20 years from now.
IT IS DOWNRIGHT CRIMINAL!!!
YOU CANNOT HAVE AN ALCOHOLIC DRINK IN A BAR OR A CLUB UNTIL YOU ARE 21 YEARS OLD - BUT YOU CAN HAVE A DOUBLE MASTECTOMY ON TWO PERFECTLY HEALTHY BREASTS WHILE YOU ARE STILL AN UNDERAGE TEENAGER?!!😳
@@ktwashere5637 47 yrs ago i asked to be sterilised after the birth of my 2nd child. I heard every argument...what if you change yr mind? What if you lose a child? What if? What if? There must be robust counselling prior to the intervention.

Is it just me, or can you also hear the genuine sincerity and concern in Abigail's voice? It really seems like she cares about these people.
The way she talked about the young women finding imperfections within themselves and chasing the horizon of becoming the perfect male had me on the verge of tears. It is extremely sad and these teenagers have an open door to the doctors office to ask for medication which will alter their life forever.
Of course! It’s insane that people would suggest that this woman is somehow dedicating her career to the purpose of picking on young kids with psychological problems. People don’t do that. That would be a cartoonishly evil person. The pro trans side of the debate is just hell bent on getting their way. They basically hold a gun to the child’s head and tell you you must comply. That’s what they mean when they mention the suicide rate of people with gender confusion. They’re basically saying you must give your child hormone treatment or they’ll surely kill themselves. It’s really sick shit.
Yeah you can hear her voice crack at the end. The thought of the future consequences for people who have major surgery and later regret it is terrifying. I wouldn't even have a tattoo for that reason.

Yes but, instead of trying these witches, the medical establishment exalts them as heroes. Moreover, they substitute sound medical judgment for the subjective and transient feelings of adolescent patients.
Yes. Powerful and concise summary of both the current therapeutic model and the "spell" under which much of western society has fallen in their unquestioning belief in, and defense of, trans demands activists' ideology.
This is malpractice and an abandonment of the "first do no harm" principle by the medical profession. It's a green light to child abuse by the governments that allow it. It's gross negligence in the name of profit on the part of the hospitals.

I now understand why we were so upset at our own bodies.
Women in our lives were physically and mentally abusive. They made us hate our selves for being women.
I now have realized they were projecting their insecurities on to us.
We are now independent women. One has children but we both are happily married to wonderful strong men. ❤
Thanks for sharing. Yes I have worked for a lot of 'mean girls'.

I love that when they came for Abigail Shrier, instead of her backing down, she doubled down. Getting the word out on as many podcasts and articles about this subject you can find.
Well done Ms Shrier. The controversy around your book will inevitably spread more awareness about this subject, than any ad campaign promoting it ever could. Stay Strong.
Best Streisand moment ever to date 😁 I've now bought her book purely to put it in my Archive of Wrongthink for future generations in case Amazon pull any more crap.

I teach grade 10, and this year a girl changed her name to Ethan and started dressing differently. Few months down the road her two friends, also girls, have changed their names to Sam and Tyler. So I completely agree with what she says about teenage girls following their friend. I didn't know why this was happening until I watched this. Thank you.
Similar to older generations...if one girl got pregnant, many more in the peer group would follow suit. If one dyed her hair a wild color, got a piercing or a tattoo, several would do the same. Is it to share in the extra attention? Is it honest confusion? Is it typical adolescents trying on different personas to see what fits?
Unfortunately, this generation is doing irreparable damage to themselves and the adults in their lives are not just allowing it, they are encouraging it. And by the time they realize their mistake, it's too late. I am both angry and heartbroken.
Shocking. Waaaaayyy back in normal times (6 years ago), if a young girl wanted her beasts removed, there'd be so many people and professionals to try to save her.
I hope you made the parents aware
It's so desperately sad that our young generation are so confused and easily influenced as it is going to affect the rest of their life and we have adults pushing this on them 😔

I really appreciated that too. It's like he was attempting to beat the naysayers to the punch before they could even formulate an opposition. Together they were able to get all of the relevant questions, contradictions and counter theories out in the open, addressed, and *resolved* so that by the end, we are left with a concise, solid, and damn near irrefutable piece that covers the pertinent topics raised in Shrier's book.

Me and my identical twin sister had a lot of trauma and sexual abuse in early childhood and through teen years. We were put up for adoption at 2 and then the state took over our lives. I can only tell you that we both suffered the same molestation at the same age by the same man who was a doctor and had us living in his home when we were 6. He and his wife had a bio daughter who suffered all through her childhood by him until we came in. She knew he was molesting my twin and I because he stopped with her. She was 12. And then she confronted us to say she knew and that she was the happiest she’s ever been and she’d fight to keep us in their home. The moment my understanding of molestation hit I literally felt a part of me break inside.
We were moved out because the wife found out and we were placed into a mixed broken family. There were four older boys and the abuse began immediately. The boys saw us as meat they could pick out. The state didn’t care and gas lit us when we told.
Long story short, we moved to the new house almost 7. The abuse rape and mental started and it only took a couple months when I wanted to be a boy. Both my sister and I. But she was more in the middle and I hated my female self. She turned other ways and I was determined I was a boy. I hated women. I don’t know why. All through grade school I was called it or a boy by my peers. I prayed I’d wake up as a boy.
I turned 12 and my parents divorced. The abuse was less but just a different kind like molestation and neglect. Maybe I just hit puberty full on but the boy identity began to falter and I accepted my body for what it was. I knew I’d never ever achieve becoming a boy because there was so many differences between the two sexes.
Eventually through my teens I became as normal and dated boys. So I basically grew out of this other identity. I believe I used the alter to protect myself and sister.
I’m so glad that changing sexes wasn’t an option back then. I think there’s going to be a lot of detrans people coming trying to pick up their lives and life long health problems.
You’ve been very brave
Your story breaks my heart. I wish I could've been there to protect you from those evil people. I wish anyone could've been there to protect the two of you.

My grandaughter was molested. She was 14. I drove 700 miles to get her from a psych facility, because she attempted suicide. She reacted by claiming she wanted to be a boy. The counselors I took her to see were ENCOURAGING this! As soon as she told me, I took her out of counseling. I'm a devoted Christian who KNOWS God as real & loving. I began by simply telling her she did NOT cause the evil that had attacked her. She continued to act like a boy. I agreed to buy her boy clothes & let her cut her hair like a boy. I told her God loved her & her gender was NOT an error! When she went to high school, she felt out of sync. She soon realized she had no more interest in "being a boy". I love her & I allowed her some concessions, but I NEVER faltered in my speech. I told her she is a beautiful, feminine girl for a purpose, I prayed constantly, & let her own sensibility do the rest. She is now happy & well. Things aren't perfect, but not far from it.
To the Lord be ALL the glory!

@Josh Hernandez I still don't understand why you need to know details in this particular case. Parents were not present but she had a loving grandma, it's quite enough information. I don't see the point of asking personal questions in public, it's somewhat insensitive.
Yes, lack of loving parents can cause issues in one's life but it doesn't have to define their identity. There are many happy people out there who didn't have loving parents in their childhood for whatever reason.

I think it’s kinda like JP says- it’s chaos vs order. Chaos means no rules- it’s why on the left you end up with actual anarchists- and on the far right you have a few actual fascists. Christianity tries to put in place some orderliness- it doesn’t get everything correct. He never got a chance to say anything further and the rest of his family just stood by and watched. I felt soo bad for my husband, the hurt was so clear on his face. He's a very family oriented man whose always done what he can for them. We simply left.
His family are likely the type who swallow hook line and sinker anything and everything that comes out of teachers and government’s mouths. It’s a very large group that for some unknown reason are incapable of logic and common sense. History proves that teachers and government are complicit in and responsible for forced religion, forced slavery, segregation and the beating of school children just to name a few. Some of which happened in my lifetime and is still occurring today. This sexual orientation of very young school children occurring in a good portion of public schools hopefully will also pass. Our children’s children will likely look back at this with scorn and ridicule, just like we do now of many of the things our ancestors did, and with the expressed and written approval of teachers and government. These attempts at normalizing mental illness helps calm the mentally ill but is unnecessarily damaging to unafflicted children and is not fair to them.
@@1brene2batu3billi you are absolutely right. My husband and I have come to the same conclusion. My husband enjoys reading quite a bit about all sorts of issues. He likes to share ideas and have intellectual conversations and debates, which he believed he could do with his family. This is similar to how people reacted to non-vaccinated persons/family members. I totally agree. I think if she has a bias, it would be to "healthy young girls".
Kinda wish she looked into boys though, cause it was the one part that it seems she was weak on.
I get the same vibe. Nothing she said about her book has made me think she is malicious in any way towards anyone who falls into the trans group.
@@Maninawig I believe she talked more clearly in the Hillsdale lecture she gave, where she said the adult transwomen she interviewed said they did have dyshoria as boys since ages of 2/4 and felt it was with their bodies not gender roles, and in the end of the lecture she said all kids should go through therapy first etc so she did cover the topic regarding boys, also it was previously a condition seen in boys but now it is by far exceedingly seen that girls are transitioning without showing any gender dyshoria before puberty, so the argument she raised here is its a self harming problem for girls
@@Maninawig also she said many boys who experience gender dysphoria become gay at adulthood, so in general she addressed both sexes behaviors to dysphoria, but the hammer on the head way she used to prove that this is a cultural craze is addressing the epidemic in girls to transition in these last years, instead of boys where it has a historical precedent and documented results.
@@jadeanis3794 my point still stands. Though I admit she is a woman and her focus was on girls, it makes an argument (especially against the political left) a lot less potent when you become so easily pulled out of your element. Jordan could render her floundering for answers by simply asking how the two compared, which is a common question for a researcher to ask... in fact, it is a vital question when trying to find causative evidence.
So how it ended up was her stating that the trans craze was bad for both and recall hundreds of stats off the top of her head relating to women, then giving generalized sweeping statements when asked the same about boys. For a comparison, we can look at the Q&As of Ben Shapiro, where people try that tactic on him... unless you demand a ruling of a specific case he doesn't know about, he has studied the case from so many angles that he has a rebuttal ready, maintaining his control over the situation.
However, please note that my comment is more of a constructive criticism because I don't want her message to be so easily dismissed.

My 16 yr old grandson announced last year (when he was 15) that he was Trans. Without clinical exploration for a diagnosis, his parents started him on hormone therapy and he is growing "breasts"; he has no history of gender dysphoria, zero feminine traits, must be chronically pushed to engage in basic, personal hygiene activities, and has multiple learning disabilities in addition to depression and anxiety.
He angrily confronted me once because I do not use his new female name nor his preferred pronouns. I asked him if he thought I was a truthful person. Right away he said, "Yes, of course!" "Then why do you want me to lie to you?" He had no response except the typical avoidance rhetoric that I was disrespectful of his personhood. I asked him, "Do you believe in the concept of fairness?" He enthusiastically said yes. "You require me to sacrifice ALL my core values, my belief systems AND and my university science degree based on your quest for what you consider identity. What do I get in return?" He was speechless. I told him I loved him, but - "Your demands do not qualify as a fair contract. I do not believe that lying to you is helpful, and I am not a liar."
I explained to his father (my son) that I consider this identity thing an effective power move. Popular culture automatically awards a great deal of power to that individual who claims Trans status. For a quirky kid who has had difficulty socializing all his life and was facilitated in his addiction to electronics, sleeping all day, and allowed to drop out of school, the Trans claim affords him an instant status boost for the first time in his life.
As a grandparent I do not have the authority to raise him and set boundaries/expectations that I would as a mother. I love him, avoid using any name when I speak to him, and look for ways to encourage him in positive pursuits, and I invite him to spend time with me. He very rarely will engage with me, but when he does, I am grateful for that little moment of happiness. I pray for him and his parents every day.

Isn’t it crazy how it’s gone so nuts that the people who are brave are the ones coming out to speak the truth rather than coming out as trans?!
I have a daughter who showed NO signs of gender dysphoria. In fact, I was, as a child and still am, more of a "Tomboy" than she ever was or is. We moved in 2016, when she was 16, which put her into a huge public high school from a small rural school. She has a learning "disability" and so she learns differently and sees the world differently than your average child. She came home one day and came to me sobbing like never before saying that she thought she was a boy on the inside. I was stunned!!! (That year the King of Prom was a trans girl who was the "boyfriend" of the Queen, of that tells you anything about the environment she was in.) I told her we would get through it together and that was pretty much the end of it. She told a couple of friends and she bought a couple of boys shirts at Goodwill that she never wore, but that was as far as it went. Now she is 21 and seems to be a happily adjusted young WOMAN. if this nonsense were a thing when I was a kid I imagine that I would've gone through the same thing wondering if I was a boy. Thank God I didn't. As I grew up I embraced my femininity, got married and have three beautiful children. Being their mother has been the greatest thing to ever occur in my life. It makes me sad and angry what these children are going through because of these progressive Communists who have gained a foothold in our country!!
I had 6 brothers growing up, 5 older than me. There were lots of times I wished I were a boy, just because being the only girl I stood out in ways I didn't want to. But like you I was married (twice) and dated in adulthood and have no desire to be a man. I'm happy with who I am, who God made me to be.
@@TheKatell52 I was thinking about this the other day. The difference between now and back then is that I NEVER thought that I was a boy. At times I wanted to be a boy because "boy" activities were more fun but the thought never crossed my mind that I was a boy in a girl's body. If you look for example at Baphomet or Shiva you always will find both in one like Ying/Yang, black/white (pattern in Freemasonry) or the 8 pointed star in front of the Vatican or on the flag of Great Britain (2 stars in one, the star of Ishtar/Easter (Statue of Liberty reprsenting the female part of the devil and representing "Freedom for Sex", Luciferianism mainly is a Sex cult hence you also celebrate rabbits on Easter because they reproduce alot hence also used by Playboy. Thats also the "Mary" the Roman-Catholic church/ROME (NWO) worships.
But the 2nd part is that families are the enemy nr.1 for the "Elite" and all what they want is a jungle, easier to control. Thats why you also had the Feminist movement pushed by Rockefellers so that women could also be taxed and children go all day to school for indoctrination.

@Mosinlogan Now that she's 17, my role as a parent is less dictator and more manager. Showing kids what natural consequence they can expect from an action is the best guide. For example, if you slack in school, you get crap grades. If you don't have a job, you don't have money to play and pay for a vehicle... She expressed wanting to get a tattoo when she's 18. I can tell her until I'm blue in the face that I don't think anyone should consider a tattoo until they're at least 40. But it goes in one ear and out the other. So instead I told her how much it costs to pay for tattoo removal and the pain involved with it and how many sessions you have to go and even afterwards you can still see the outline of the tattoo should she ever not want it on her body anymore. All I can do is educate her and teach by example. The biggest mistakes parents make are not allowing their children to fail. It's only in failure that the child understands where the bar is set and the feelings that go along with it. It is also important to let them know that failure is a part of life, mistakes are a part of life and it's far better to try something and screw up then to not try it at all just because you're afraid of failing. I've noticed that Gen Z is terrified to ask for help or risk looking foolish. But life as we know it wouldn't exist without millions of failures along the way. Ultimately, they're watching us conduct our lives and are learning from our actions not our words. Indeed the most dangerous years are 18-24. They have freedom but little to no experience. It's difficult to watch your child that you love so much struggle and fail. Ultimately, childhood is preparation for adulthood. It's not necessarily a magical time of play and freedom. It's learning to become an independent human. Helicopter parents are doing a disservice because their attachment to an illusion of safety and security is retarding the growth of a child's sense of self confidence, grit, and power. So as parents we toe the line of instructing, forbidding and releasing. We do the best we can, keeping in mind that they will be on their own soon and will require the skills to thrive. So insist on chores. Insist on money management. Insist on work ethic. Insist on kindness to others even when they don't get what they want. And most of all, instill confidence that they will be fine even when they fail. The important thing is to never stop trying.

Our bodies, are always changing. At 50, I’m coming to terms with my sagging face, turkey neck, and thinning lips. But instead of dwelling on these not so pretty realities, I embrace how aging is benefiting me, such as being more understanding, and making wiser decisions.
And as a 53 year old (lean and fit but menopausal) woman, I understand you exactly. Seeing my hooded eyes, low volume gray hair, and crepey arm skin, I fully get that the body is beyond anyone’s control. And always changing……And it’s a lifelong path to acceptance. Had the trans movement been around in the 80’s I’d have been on testosterone, thinking it was the answer to my tomboyishness , my anxiety, my TEMPORARY gender dysphoria and my insecurities about being a girl/ young woman. Thank heavens for having time to grow up. Otherwise I’d be permanently marred by testosterone. Tragic issue going on.

It's has gotten so out of hand now that there will be push back and a re-examination of policies.
And aging beats the alternative.
I rebelled as a teenager. I got tattoos, pierced impossible places on my body, dyed my hair crazy colors... then I changed my mind. Yes, the tattoos and some piercings are still there - but I could have them removed if I wished. What these girls are doing to themselves can't be fixed by taking out a piercing or getting a laser treatment. I really believe the pharmaceutical industry is benefiting from damaging them - and they don't want that to stop.

My husband was watching a school board meeting as a parent was reading out the sex education learning tools that his daughter of 6 took home from school, and let me say this meeting quickly went south. He realized something that hadn't even occurred to me, the sex education curriculum that they are teaching k-12, is about systemic control and not about health. They are basically saying, "we can even control the outcome of the sex of your child". There are more and more stories coming out about how children are being told from 5 years old on that they can choose whatever sex they want to be and causing them psychological harm. I study crimes against children and I would categorize this as such. A child's sexuality is fragile and can be broken when topics, visual graphics, and actions that are introduced to them during their developmental stages.
Absolutely, thank you for this thoughtful informative contribution.
Sexuality? What are you talking about? Sexuality is about sexual preferences (gay straight bi). Gender is not sexuality nor is it sex. You can't change your sex. Gender is about how you present in society. It's behavioral not biological (at least not in a strict since, we are organisms so biology and genetics will influence behavior but I digress).
