- Hacía tiempo que quería hacer un vídeo con los aguiluchos laguneros que visitan el muladar de Peñaflor de Gállego. Su presencia es habitual todos los inviernos. Generalmente suelen ser pollos del año los que más tiempo pasan en el entorno, pero en algunas ocasiones también vienen a comer los adultos.
Este vídeo está centrado en estos últimos.
La mañana del 25 de enero de 2017,se acercó al muladar la hembra de lagunero que aparece en la primera parte del vídeo. Desconfiada y esquiva al principio, protegida por la maleza, antes de decidirse a comer, entonces sobrevoló por la zona un ejemplar adulto de águila real (no es el que aparece en el vídeo, ni desde luego fue tan cantarín como el que podéis ver en las imágenes, al que he añadido la voz de reclamo de un macho de la misma especie, para aportar dramatismo y teatralidad a la escena, ya que el pollo del año que pude grabar el 14 de enero de 2017, tampoco abrió el pico para emitir sonido alguno), pero lo que sí es cierto es que la hembra de aguilucho lagunero, se agachó y trató de pasar desapercibida entre la vegetación , mientras el águila real sobrevolaba la zona.
Como estaba grabando al lagunero, no pude grabar al águila real adulta, pero con este montaje que he realizado en la primera parte del vídeo, he intentado recrear la escena.
El observador experimentado, no habrá tardado mucho en darse cuenta de que no es el mismo ejemplar, ni el macho ni la hembra el que aparece durante los tres minutos y medio de duración del vídeo.
La ¿hembra? acosada por las urracas tiene el iris del ojo mucho más oscuro (además de que tampoco el patrón de color de sus plumas es coincidente), que la protagonista de los primeros planos.
Respecto al macho, mucho más difícil de ver posado en el entorno del muladar, he combinado imágenes del 22 de enero de 2018 (las escenas que se desarrollan en el interior de la balsa) con imágenes del 25 de enero de 2017, cuando un hambriento y majestuoso macho me regaló su compañía durante más de una hora, en la que pude grabar los planos que quería a escasos metros del hide.
Podríamos decir, que todo esto forma parte de la “magia del cine”, (con perdón de los verdaderos cineastas y documentalistas, al atribuirme esta competencia que desde luego no me corresponde), donde nada es verdad ni es mentira, sino que todo está en función de la edición y el montaje del que al otro lado (de la cámara) mira.

On the morning of January 25, 2017, the female marsh harrier appeared in the first part of the video. Distrustful and elusive at first, protected by the undergrowth, before deciding to eat, at this moment, flew over the area an adult specimen of the golden eagle (not the one that appears in the video, nor was it as singing as you can see in the images, to which I added the claim voice of a male of the same species, to bring drama and theatricality to the scene, since the chicken of the year that I was able to record on January 14, 2017, did not open the peak to broadcast no sound), but what is certain is that the female marsh harrier, crouched down and tried to pass unnoticed among the vegetation, while the golden eagle flew over the area.
As I was recording the marsh harrier, I could not record the adult golden eagle, but with this montage that I have made in the first part of the video, I tried to recreate the scene.
The experienced observer will not have taken long to realize that it is not the same specimen, neither the male nor the female that appears during the three and a half minutes of the video.
The female? harassed by the magpies, the iris of the eye is much darker (in addition to the fact that the color pattern of its feathers is not coincident either), that the protagonist of the close-ups.
Regarding the male, much harder to see posed in the environment of the feed point, I combined images of January 22, 2018 (the scenes that take place inside the pound) with images of January 25, 2017, when a hungry and majestic male gave me his company for more than an hour, in which I could record the shots that I wanted a few meters from the hide.
We could say, that all this is part of the "magic of the cinema", (with the forgiveness of the true academics and documentary filmmakers, by attributing to me this competence that of course does not correspond to me), where nothing is true or lies, but everything is depending on the editing and mounting of the one on the other side (of the camera).

A ver si un día tenéis un hueco en la agenda y os acercais por aquí.
Ya hace más de un mes que no salgo al monte, y estoy bastante cardíaco, pero ayer estuve redecorando el muladar, preparando nuevos posaderos y limpiando las cargadas de los lirones en el hide, ahora que ya sólo está la hembra en la caja nido.
Vamos que se podría comer en el suelo.
Ayer teníamos 4 ovejas muertas, no se si bajarán hoy los buitres, ya que aunque el día es bueno (con solson mucho más activos) , sin embargo hoy es día de caza. No se si se sentirán intimidados por el tiroteo.
En fin, lo dicho, a ver si cais algún día por aquí y a ver si hay suerte y bajan unas cuantas rapaces.

Ya sabes, cuando se reúnen córvidos y rapaces en un bufett libre siempre andan molestando los primeros a los segundos, a mi me viene bien porque aportan algo de actividad al vídeo, ya que buena parte del tiempo no hay demasiada actividad en el muladar, muchos posados, pero poca acción. En fin, aportan un toque de simpatía y entretenimiento tanto para el que lo grava como para el que lo ve

Yo disfruto grabando las imágenes, buscando la música montando el vídeo, es un hobby que me hace sentir bien, pero nada es comparable a saber que alguien al otro lado también disfruta con ello. Cada minuto de vídeo supone más de una hora de trabajo, afortunadamente no hago esto por dinero, me moriría de hambre, paro me hago rico al leer comentarios como el tuyo.

El sonido del lagunero en la charca, como el del águila real forma parte de la post-producción, con la salvedad de que en realidad, el águila no abrió el pico, era un pollo del año y no tenía porque emitir reclamo alguno para impresionar a su hembra, es decir esa parte es pura teatralidad, por supuesto en el caso de que una rapaz fuese a realizar una ataque a una presa nunca iría gritando como una loca para delatarse y permitir que su potencial comida pueda pillar las de Villa Diego, pero no es el primer documental que veo en el que previo al ataque de una real o un azor acompañan al animal con una diatriba de sonidos que pondría en fuga al más sordo de los potenciales individuos susceptibles de ser capturados.
Respecto del macho del lagunero en la balsa, ese si que reclamo, creo que reclamaba a los pollos que eran tres y pasaban bastante rato en el muladar. Evidentemente detrás del cristal espía en invierno el sonido fue grabado muy débilmente, lo que he hecho es buscar ese sonido por Internet y añadirlo en la pista de sonido, para aumentar el realismo, y por lo que veo , no ha quedado mal, cosa que me alegra.
