I really appreciate your videos. I had that issue and the local Chavy dealership was gonna change me $160, and told me it may not even get fixed, but I would pay the $160! Mine radio was a little different, but I took a chip out and a worked!
He is 💯 wrong about “just remove chip”. Need to edit the VIN in the bin file of the eeprom or completely install your original eeprom to the donor board.

Does not work. If you remove the chip you get a black screen. Do not do this!!
