It took me about 30 minutes to attach the booster to my Byrna SD launcher, and a lot of playing around to get the booster top pieces to snap together behind the site. The screws and nuts are tiny so be prepared to wrestle with those for a while. But well worth it in the end not to have to replace the CO2 cartridges so often. The instructions that came with the booster are pretty good, but watching this video really helped. With the addition of the booster and 12 gram CO2 cartridges, my Byrna SD is now my perfect home self defense weapon.
I appreciate the video but if you want more shots and more power with extended distance it's best to leave the boost on .If you're in life or death wouldn't you want more boost and be able to shoot more projectiles to defend you and your family
Thanks! If you're like me it always helps to see it done. My second time installing one was done in like 3 minutes. The first one took a little longer! haha Thanks for your comment.
anyone found a holster that fits the SD with Booster Adapter? I have a perfect fit without adapter rn 😭 I wanna go ahead n install my adapter but I don’t have a holster yet!
Does he know HOW to actually use an allen key wrench? Why would you use the short end as a handle instead of using the long end for leverage, especially as clearance isn't an issue? Incorrectly inserting a wrench and then having it slip out is amateur hour - that's how you strip out the sides.
We are sorry that this was the only thing that you took away from the video. To address your complaint, if the screw is not torqued to 80ft/lb and you are just unscrewing the screw, I personally always use the short end on top so that you can spin the screw out faster. Maybe you couldn't see what I was doing because of my big sasquatch hands. When I needed the leverage, I used the other end so I had the long handle to break the 80ft/lb torque that Byrna had put on that little screw. I'm sorry that our Hex Key Allen Wrench skills fell short of expectations.
Thanks for the video

Thanks you for your post I have been looking for this post 🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️
Do one at a time holding the nut with one finger and then start the screw but don’t tighten it all the way until all are started.
BEST VIDEO EVVVVEEERR!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Great job 👍🏾!!! 🙏🏾Thanks
Thank you! I'm glad it helped!
I would also love instructions on how to remove the bottom plate on a magazine, can't seem to get it off on mine.
This might help. We should do a video on it as well: www.bringitselfdefense.com/post/designating-payload-byrna-magazines
Are grams and Ounces the same thing I keep hearing folks saying 12 ounces which is like 3/4 of a pound . Hmmm
Does it increase the fps to the same as the LE
I want to modify mine, eliminate the bottom rail, so it will expose the original rail, lights and lasers will fit most Holsters
Share a picture if you do that. Sounds interesting. It will likely void the warranty with Byrna.
Move the mic bro we don’t wanna hear your breathe glad you figured it out tho

It took me 25 minutes with no instructions read.

@@BringItByrnaSelfDefense Those screws and nuts are too small for human hands. I used the Allen Wenches short end - long end, whatever worked.
